Moral Theory Of Lawrence Kohlberg
Lawrence Kohlberg was a theorist and a scholar of child growth. He focused on the ethical
development of kids and how they mature the wisdom of right, justice, and wrong. Kohlberg noted
that teenagers underwent certain phases during moral growth. Through his observations, he
developed a theory that human beings develop from one phase to another through an invariant
pattern, not missing any stage. His conclusions have been proven by critical cultural studies
conducted throughout the world. These phases were at levels known as pre conventional,
conventional and post conventional morality.
Level One: Pre Conventional Morality
Stage One: Obedience and Punishment Orientation
Stage One is alike to the first phase of the ethical thinking. The ... Show more content on

They trust that individuals should obey the beliefs of the family and the society and act well at all
times. Having good behavior typically means that a person should have respectable reasons and
good personal feelings such as trust (Kohlberg, 1971).
Stage Four: Maintaining the Social Order
At this phase, a person should reason when interacting with the family members and close friends.
One should make an effort of understanding the needs and wants of others and attempt to help.
Respondents at this phase are more anxious with the whole society. They put more importance in
observing laws and carrying out duties that ensure social order is upheld (Kohlberg Kramer, 1969).
For example, individuals should reason on the possible effects of breaking the law before doing so.
For instance, it could probably lead to chaos rejecting the functioning of society.
Level Four: Post conventional Morality
Stage Five: Social Contract and Individual Rights
At stage five, individuals aim at ensuring that the community keeps performing. Nevertheless, a
society functioning smoothly is not essentially the best because a society needs to be well
structured. Stage five focuses on the components of a healthy society and those at this stage think of
the community in a theoretical way by considering the values and rights that the society ought to
maintain (Kohlberg, 1971). Moreover, they trust that a healthy community is a social pact in which

Inflation in Russia
Introduction
Good day, dear friends. Actually, I considered the topic of the presentation for a long time and
finally I have chosen inflation in Russia. Inflation, as one of the main macroeconomic issues, is a
really urgent problem of today. In some countries the rate of inflation is 5 %.while in others 15%.
Today. we will discuss history and modern peculiarities of the Russian inflation. So,here is the plan.
Definition
Inflation is a sustained increase in overall level of prices, as measured by some broad index (such
as Consumer Price Index) over months or years, and mirrored in the correspondingly decreasing
purchasing power of a currency. An increase in inflation means an increase in prices. This affects
whether or not a consumer is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore local authorities wanted to keep that control, despite the failure of the government to
subsidize such regions.
Taking into account the fact that that the majority of enterprises were monopolists, and market
regulation systems in the country did not exist, the enterprises took advantage of the situation to
raise the prices of goods and services.(as we all know that it is profit push inflation)
Reasons of inflation in Russia
Usually the causes of inflation are divided by the monetary and non monetary. However, in our
country, this division is very conditional, so at this stage it is better to talk about specific
assumptions of a price growth.
Usually experts name three main causes of inflation in Russia in recent years. First rising costs of
food in the world. Our country is imported from the border a lot of food and raw materials. After the
drought of 2010 the share of imports has increased significantly.

The second reason the growth of budget expenditures, especially in the social sphere, and monetary
support for the economy. The government continues to pump its money, that affect the growth of the
money supply and as a result reduce the purchasing power of the ruble.
The third cause of acceleration of inflation the growth of tariffs for state monopolies. Especially
electricity. Most state owned companies raise their prices for gas, for energy, for tickets. And the
government can not stop this
A Clean Well Lighted Place By Ernest Hemingway
How has your understanding of the concept of belonging been shaped by the representation of
relationships and events that you have encountered in the texts you have studied for the Area of
Study: Belonging?

Belonging requires an individual to build a connection with another person or group over time, these
connections are often developed through shared experience and understanding. Peter Skrzynecki s
poems; Feliks Skrzynecki (1975) and Migrant Hostel (1975) offer various perspectives and
representations on this concept. Ernest Hemingway s short story A clean well lighted place (1926)
and the picture Berlin Wall by unknown (1973) compliment these perspectives and representations
further.

A lack of shared events and time ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The younger waiter believes he has no regard for those who have to work. On the contrary the
older waiter also doesn t belong to a family and attempts to explain he stays up because he likes it
it s clean and well lighted the light acting as a metaphorical parallel to the comfort the café offers
in his otherwise dark life. Seeing as the older waiter understands him he does his best to make the
customer feel he belongs and build a relationship with him. He realises that not everyone shares the
same perspective realising it s not only a question of youth but in this case a question of lack of
relationships allowing sympathy and explaining his actions.
Migrant Hostel , gives the responder a perspective of the plight of migrants and the trouble they face
in building relationships due to the events in their past and the lack of understanding in the world
around them. The metaphor of the barrier at the main gate... Pointed in reprimand or shame
demonstrates how their housing affects them. A person cannot belong if they feel shamed,
furthermore they consider themselves birds of passage with constant comings and goings. The
constantly fluctuating events in their life results in an in ability to form relationships as they have in
adequate time to form them, hindering belonging. Despite this shared memories of hunger and hate
allowing some belonging, the alliteration emphasises the hardship of
Advantages And Disadvantages Of Food Irradiation
In modern society, science has been heavily involved with the production of food. Due to
urbanisation, most people in developed countries as well as many people in developing countries
neither have the resources nor the time necessary to carry out subsistence farming that can produce
an adequate amount of foodfor themselves and their family on a regular basis. This sort of farming
is only possibly in a rural environment. Because of this, urban families are troubled with the task of
finding fresh and healthy produce to consume.

or being naturally preserved without changing in texture or flavour. The only way the industry

Sodium nitrate is common example which can be found in most processed meats. This compound
inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria in the meats, which prolongs the shelf life of the meats.
Propyl gallate is another substance which is used as a preservative. Butylated hydroxyanisole
(BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BTH) help with the preservation of food items because of
their antioxidant chemistry. Olestra and trans fatty acids (trans fats) are oil based substances which
are artificially created substances. These substances are used hamburgers, potato chips many other
pre fried food items. They enhance the flavour of these food items and are far cheaper to use for
the manufacturers of the food items. Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is used widely in food
products as a flavourant. Aspartame is also a flavourant, which is used an artificial sweetener used
by people who either cannot or do not want to consume foods with high sugar content. Another
sweetener which is widely used is Acesulfame K, which is approximately 200 times sweeter than
actual table sugar. This makes this sweetener a cost effective replacement for normal sugar in the
preparation of products which used sugar. Potassium Bromate is an anticaking agent. This
characteristic is beneficial in powdered substances, like baking soda, as their shelf life can be
prolonged. (Vakil

Essay On Ustastshkirt Plus
This fall I was able to attend a wonderful production called Dream d in a Dream performed by the
Sean Curran Company and the Ustastshkirt Plus musical ensemble. It was a beautiful collaboration
between contemporary American dance and ancient Central Asian music. Although the dancing was
beautiful, to me, the musicwas even more so. The program was a creation of Sean Curran, a
choreographer from NYC. It was inspired by his travels Kazakhstan and the music he heard there. He
came across a small six member ensemble called Ustastshkirt Plus, meaning master apprentice , from
the Tien Shan Mountains of the Kyrgyz Republic, whose music gave him the inspiration for the
performance. Traditional Kyrgyz instruments are played in the ensemble; the Kobyz (bowed 2
stringed fiddle) and the Komuz (fretless lute) which happens to be the national instrument of

His goal was to inspire and uplift the members of the audience and he achieved just that. This of
course could not be possible without the beautiful sounds of the Ustastshkirt Plus ensemble. The
performance took place on October 8th at 8pm at the newley renovated Northrop auditorium. The
new acoustics of the venue added greatly to the overall performance. It really brought the
auditorium to life and helped to take the viewer to a whole other place. I only regret that I wasn t
able to focus completely on the ensemble s music due to being distracted by the exciting show the
dancers were putting on.
Overall the performance was a great experience. It was wonderful to hear music from an area that
was previously unknown to me. The ancient musical language and centuries old instruments were a
wonder to uphold. Not to mention the brilliant collage of Kyrgyz and American styles. I hope to
hear more from this ensemble in the
Bilateral Review System Analysis
Bilateral review systems are ultimately unreliable. Many customers are forced to say positive, but
not necessarily true, traits about themselves or hotels and are usually rated by companies unfairly.
For Uber, customers are rated on their behavior, but there are no real standards suggesting what is
meant by good, bad, or mediocre behavior. It is purely up to the designation of the driver, which
can be more opinionated than factual. Thus, it is not a surprise when a passenger feels perplexed
to find out his or her passenger score has been lowered even if the passenger did everything in his or
her power to leave a lasting impression on the driver.
This then puts an overwhelming amount of pressure people to write a review about themselves,
