Boo Radley Locked Up
Throughout this journal, one can predict the kids will not meet Boo because he is locked up and
they are scared of him. One reason why the kids will not meet Boo is because he is locked up. A
reason to support this is because he stabbed his father with a pair of scissors. One quote from the
book to give you a visualization is As Mr. Radley passed by, Boo drove the scissors into his parent
s leg, pulled them out, wiped them on his pants, and resumed his activities (Lee 13). As you can
see Boo can not think through his actions before doing them. He does not see that what he does
deeply affects others around him. Next, another reason he is locked up is nobody sees a lot of
activity coming in and out of the Radley household. Maycomb is a quiet... Show more content on

Another reason why the kids will not meet Boo is because the kids are scared of him. One reason
why they are scared of him is that they are scared of the events that they have heard him do. As
for them hearing that Boo Radley stabbed his father, they are a little apprehensive to the fact of
seeing him. They do not want to be around a thirty three year old man that may potentially hurt
them. Furthermore, another reason why they are frightened by him is because they children think
he kills animals. A quote to support this idea is he dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could
catch (Lee 16). As you can see with this explanation the children are quite frightened with the fact.
Killing animals is a scary thing for the children, and there can be many rumors about the killing,
which frightens the children. Jem, Scout and Dill are fearful of the Radleys for one more reason,
they are not very enjoyable people to be around. When on the streets and the people pass Mr.
Radley, he does not say hello, which is considered rude within a small town like

Essay On Wan Technologies
As the world progresses technology everyday, the reliance on the Internet and its uses become
more and more necessary. Many people connect to hundreds of applications and devices they use
every single day. Behind these applications are extremely complex networks that allow users to
connect in ways that expand every single day. To achieve this, companies must design their
networks for secure access and reliability to allow seamless access for users. On the back end these
companies must also have a secure network in place for their offices, remote workers, and any other
remote resource to access confidential materials and other sensitive matter. This can be accomplished
through a variety of WAN technologies that are used in the world today.... Show more content on

With frame relay the user only has to pay for the local loop and the allotted bandwidth they
purchased. Since these loops are shared between many users the cost is reduced. Frame Relay
provides a better alternative because it only requires a single point of access. From that point of
access the Frame Relay allows the sites to connect together. On top of the overall cost, it is also
much simpler to configure which results in less overhead yet again. The connections were
simpler to establish because Customer Service Equipment or CPE would be configured and
linked to the ISPs Frame relay switch. This allowed end user configuration management to be
simple and straightforward. Besides cost savings, Frame relay is also more reliable and provides
more bandwidth than private/leased lines. Frame relay provides greater flexibility versus leased
lines by using Virtual Circuits or VCs. As communication is desired between locations, a
connection to a Virtual Circuit is formed. In this process each end point connection uses a Data
Link Connection Identifier or DLCI which acts as an address for the end point. Data sent through
the relay is taken from the network layer of the OSI model and is then encapsulated through the
data portion of the frame relay frame. Once this is done, the frame is then sent to the physical layer
for delivery. Within the packet there will be an address field that includes the DLCI and checksum
to show where the packet needs to go. Another alternative to a
Military Service Should Be Mandatory For All American...
Mandatory Military Service
Military service should be mandatory for all American citizens. In lighter terms we could refer to it
as the All American Selective Service Act, which will require all Americans to register for
Selective Service as equal partners in the defense of America (Rangel). The average person, at one
point or another, considers what they are going to do with their lives. The military has something to
offer everyone. Deciding what to do with your life can be filled with uncertainty and
procrastination. Selective service offers invaluable experiences, improves character, teach much
needed skills and increase patriotism or appreciation for freedom. Due to recent increase in riots
regarding black lives matter and our new president elect it demonstrates that the average American
citizens needs to experience the entire aspect of how America operates. It would be helpful for
citizens to see another side of life instead of what they have been subjected to possibly their entire
life. Some may say that Selective service violates our freedom, destroys voluntarism and diverts
youth from college education or career pursuit but destroying our America by violent demonstrations
and turning on one another should not be the American way (NYLN). So maybe by having the
enriched military experience it will bring the American people together for a common goal which is
to make American great.
The military provides invaluable experiences for the youth of America. Those who
A Brief Note On Professional Educational Services Group
Professional Educational Services Group, LLC is an educational staffing agency driven by helping
schools become more efficient when all employees cannot be present. This company is located in
Michigan, Tennessee, Indiana, and Florida. The main office in Indiana is located at 2112 Utica
Sellersburg Road Jeffersonville, IN 47130. This location provides services to Greater Clark
Community Schools. PESG hires applicants that meet all requirements. In order to become a
substitute for a teacher, cafeteria worker, nurse, secretarial, para educator, media clerk, or custodial
position you must complete numerous requirements. All applicants must complete an employment
packet, bring two forms of legal identification to a two hour meeting, an official 60 credit hour
transcript, criminal background check, and training modules provided by Global Compliance
Network. The changes PESG has recently imposed are using email as the primary mode of
communication with employees. The primary communication method used to be by phone where
now it is solely email. Every morning substitutes could expect early phone calls telling them the
positions that were available that day and that is how they would accept their duty for that day. The
economy and current time period makes keeping positive retention rates difficult. Michael Thibideau
has recently replaced Tracy as the new district specialist. Emails are sent every morning now
pleading for substitutes to fill the empty postings. Before Micheal there
Sadie And Carter

Julius Kane during which he blows up the Rosetta Stone, releasing five imprisoned ancient
Egyptian gods: Isis, Osiris, Horus, Set, and Nephthys. Known for not being a nice guy,,
imprisons Julius in a tomb and makes cryptic remarks to Carter and Sadie before vanishing. Sadie
and Carter s uncle, Amos, steps in and brings the kids to New York, revealing that they come
from a line of ancient Egyptian magicians and need to be brought up to speed. Amos disappears
while gathering info on Set s evil schemes, and Set s minions attack the kids and Amos s baboon
sidekick Khufu. The cat goddess Bast comes to their rescue and carts the kids around until Zia, a

Though ancient Egyptian magicians and pharaohs used to work with gods, in the last few
thousand years, the magicians decided to imprison and outlaw the gods. Seeing that they might
be condemned to death, Zia lets Carter and Sadie escape. Bast escorts them on a quest to figure
out how to defeat Set, who is constructing a giant red pyramid in Phoenix, Arizona, in order to
focus his power and destroy a good chunk of North America. Sadie and Carter come to terms with
the gods inside them and meet other deities, such as Anubis (the god of funerals), Nut (the sky

Guidelines For Improving Current Practice
5.0 Chapter 5 Conclusion and Recommendations 5.1 Introduction This chapter attempt to discuss
conclusions drawn from the findings of the study, outline implications of the results for good
practice, provide recommendations for improving current practice and further study in the area of
behaviour management. The recommendations are based on primary data (questionnaires and semi
structured interviews) and the secondary data from the literature on behaviour management. I have
decided to group these recommendations under the following headings: 5.2 School and classroom
expectations Every school should develop a behaviour policy which must be annually reviewed to
make sure it remains relevant to the context of the school. In establishing school policy, contextual
features of the school need to be taken into account eg pupils, parent/guardians, and school
community and school staff, so as to promote the needs of the school. Parents, staff and pupils
should have an in depth understanding of the school policy, the parameters of acceptable behaviour
and its implications for teaching and learning in the school. Schools should also promote and
publicize the behaviour policy (including classroom expectations) around the school eg in
classrooms and on the school?s website. Regarding classroom expectations, teachers should discuss
these with pupils and involve them in the decision making process, rather than imposing the policy
and classroom expectations. This involves
NAFTA And The Mexican Economy
Relating to the press release Mexican farmer s daughter: NAFTA destroyed us , provided by Prof.
King. We know since NAFTA was signed in 1994, Mexico lost over 900,000 farming jobs in the
first decade of NAFTA. Boosting of manufacturing industry, increasing import low price corn from
U.S, and lack of subsidy of corn production are major issues asking Mexican mom and pop farmers
give up traditional farming work and move to big cities.
According to a Congressional Research Service paper NAFTA and the Mexican Economy , wrote

attractive and appropriate for the child or children who use it. For some children it becomes like
a second home where they eat and sometimes sleep. A suitable environment for a young baby will
be very different from a suitable environment for a four or five year old although some features
will be the same. Environments should be attractive and make children feel safe and secure and
happy to be there and they should also be places where children can confidently play and learn.

Avoid Sarcastic Remarks If a child loses a game or fails a test, find out how he or she feels about
the situation. Children may get discouraged and need a pep talk. Later, when they are ready, talk
and offer assurance. Encourage children To not only strive to do their best, but also to enjoy the
process. Trying new activities teaches children about teamwork, self esteem and new skills.
Encourage Children to Play To children, play is just fun. However, playtime is as important to
their development as food and good care. Playtime helps children be creative, learn problem
solving skills and learn self control. Good, hardy play, which includes running and yelling, is not
only fun, but helps children to be physically and mentally healthy. Children Need Playmates
Sometimes it is important for children to have time with their peers. By playing with others,
children discover their strengths and weaknesses, develop a sense of belonging, and learn how to
get along with others. Consider finding a good children s program through neighbors, local
community centers, schools, or your local park and recreation department. Parents Can be Great
Playmates Join the fun! Playing Monopoly or coloring with a child gives you a great opportunity to
share ideas and spend time together in a relaxed setting. Play for Fun Winning is not as important as
being involved and enjoying the activity. One of the most important questions to ask children is Did
you have fun?
How Whistleblowing Is A Major Issue For Private Organizations
Kyler Wilson December 6, 2016 Professional Ethics Final Paper Whistleblowing can be a major
issue for private organizations who may bend or break the rules to get an upper hand in the
business world. This can be a key threat to both every day employees as well as middle and upper
management level positions. The two articles being looked at for this argument are both one that
supports whistleblowing in the workplace as well as another article that argues against
whistleblowing. The article supporting whistleblowing is titled Why are there so few
whistleblowers? Blame evolution, and is written by Paul Rauwolf and Dominic Mitchell, who
have both earned their PhD s from the University of Bath. The article was published in the
Washington Post. The theory that most supports this article are the ideas of Kant. The title of the
article against whistleblowing is titled Why Are Some Whistleblowers Vilified and Others
Celebrated? The article is written by David M. Mayer, he is a writer for the Harvard Business
Review. This article was published by the Harvard Business Review. The theory supporting this
article is utilitarianism, this can be seen through the importance of doing what is best for everyone
involved, not just yourself. The third theory that can be argued is the idea of W.D. Ross and his
prima facia duties. The concept of whistleblowing can be a touchy subject in the professional world,
but it can be a vital towards promoting a healthy and stable work environment. The
Comparison Of Pygmalion And My Fair Lady
The 1964 award winning film My Fair Lady is a musical adaptation of George Bernard Shaw s
stage production Pygmalion (first performed in the year of 1913). Taking place in Edwardian
London, My Fair Lady depicts Professor Henry Higgins (portrayed by Rex Harrison), a
misogynistic phonetics professor, and Colonel Hugh Pickering (Wilfrid Hyde White), the author
of Spoken Sanskrit. Professor Higgins, after coming out of a theatre and hearing Eliza shouting
in her harsh Cockney accent, places a bet with Colonel Pickering that he can take the Cockney
working class girl and make her presentable in high society within six months. The working class
girl, Eliza Doolittle (portrayed by Audrey Hepburn), agrees to speech lessons from Professor
Higgins to improve her job prospects. Eliza grudgingly agrees to Professor Higgins lessons after
flying into an angry outburst when a man points out the professor copying down her speech.
Despite Professor Higgins treats Eliza as a lesser being, his acquaintance Colonel Pickering treats
her with constant respect and kindness, therefore treating her as an equal. It is Pickering s treating
Eliza not as a lesser being, but as an equal that allows Eliza to flourish and succeed. In the film
adaptation of Bernard Shaw s Pygmalion, the most influential character is Colonel Pickering. As a
gentleman, a colonel and an academic who studies Indian dialects, Pickering shares Higgins interest
in linguistics, however he is not as extreme in his
Importance Of Health Literacy In Public Health
Health Literacy: A Public Health Risk
Gwen M. Hulse
University of Alaska Anchorage

Abstract
Health Literacy a term to define literacy in healthcare. An estimated 90 million people in the U.S.
have difficulties understanding and using health information (Hawkins, Kantayya and Sharkey
Asner, 2010). Low health literacy poses public health risks due to groups of people not being able
to adequately care for themselves and stay healthy. This paper argues the importance of literacy as it
pertains to health and also explores the various types of literacy that can impact how health
information is received and understood from the general public. Keywords: Health Literacy, Public
Health and Literacy

Health Literacy: A Public Health Risk

It is the opinion of many Americans that literacy is not necessary to function in everyday life.
Plenty of adults with low or even no literacy skills have been and continue to be successful in
attaining steady jobs, raising families, maintaining a home and so on and so forth. Knoblauch s
functionalist perspective states literacy is readying people for the necessities of daily life writing
checks, reading sets of instructions as well as for the professional tasks of a complex
technological society (Knoblauch, 1990, p. 3). Although it is possible to function on a basic
level while being illiterate, one might argue that the quality of life would not be quite as fulfilling
than that of someone who had advanced literacy skills. Evidence shows that people with low
functional health literacy have poor health outcomes (Adams, 2010, p. 64). When it comes to
things such as public health risks, literacy is absolutely fundamental. The objective of this essay
is to stress the significance of literacy as it relates to public healthcare, specifically in the U.S. A
couple of scenarios of functional literacy are, for example, reading a prescription bottle,
understanding the directions on what dosages to take and at what times to take it. It can be as
simple as writing your personal information and family s health history at a dental office or as
complex as filling out insurance forms at a clinic.
Some might recall the 2001 Anthrax scare that caused the public to fear the
Edm On A Global Scale
EDM on a Global Scale
One of the benefits and reasons why people are so interested with EDM is that it is widely
available on the internet. YouTube channels, Facebook pages, websites, and every digital
medium available is or has been a location for popular EDM to be socially active with viewers.
This allows songs to gain prevalence in different areas of the world with out the geographic
locations impeding their connection. Each geographic location also has their own cultural
signature to EDM, influences usually point to past cultural movements or famous music that came
out of the area. For example Avicii, a Swedish electronic musician, DJ, and producer, created a
song, Malo which contained Spanish lyrics and created a large listener base that was in the
country of Spain. EDM has the ability to be produced with an audience in mind. This is mainly
because artists have the means of customizing a sound or song for a group of people just by
recreating the ideas and music of movements within that geographical location. By using similar
sounds and rhythms, EDM artists are able to capture the true nature of a country s signature. EDM is
a global and social community that is unlike a music genre ever seen before. Almost instantaneously,
people of world can find and listen to exactly what EDM they want to hear. People can communicate
to each other about the music and share the ideas of the art in a quick and boundless fashion. While
remixing has been around for decades, the term
