Red By Taylor Swift
Briefly, the song Red, by Taylor Swift, is about her relationships in her love life. The song uses
many colors of words that explains Swift s feelings, but red symbolizes the strongest feeling of
all, as it is embedded in the title. In the song, it follows a specific format, comparing the her action
to him, to a similar feeling of another thing. This builds up the foundation of the song and it is
easy to understand the meaning of the lyrics in terms of the literal meaning of how it sounds. The
lyrics of Red is rich in simile as well in imagery, that describes her love for the guy while reminiscing
those memories of him. The song begins with Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a
dead end street , which uses simile of the
Personal Narrative Plague
Plague Narrative Sam walked down the corpse ridden street. The smell would have been
unbearad past an old abandoned tavern as a horse drawn cart hobbled by full of reeking bodies.
The Plague had started 37 years ago when the gallys had arrived at Italy s port. When the Plague
hit, great panic almost spread as fast as the Plagueitself. People adopted insane Ideas of how this
happened and what to do. Even though Sam lived at a small town he had heard rumors of a
exceptionally psychotic group called the flagellation. Sam had ran away to this small country
village trying to escape from the Plague. But it seemed just as bad out here. Sam was 22 and was
born into the Plague. He lost his mother to it and his father had left him at the age of 9. Luckily
Sam had been able to dodge its corruption. Sam continued walking down the street in eerie silence. A
cartdriver turned the corner with his withered horse. He stopped and looked down at Sam. He had a
blue coat on and had brown hair, he looked around the age of 30. Do you have any body s sir?

to turn back and resume his walk but a horrible yell came from a boarded up house. Sam trotted over

caved in and the door had splintered boards nailed across the broken door frame. He easily pulled

NIOSH Publication Summary
Critical Review of NIOSH Publication
Taylor Schwartzer

Abstract
Material handling can be a safe and continuous when the right plans are in place. In this article, we
will be discussing engineering and administrative improvements, proactive plans, and some of the
options to go with improvements to material handling when it comes to ergonomics. This atrial will
also specifically summarize the following information from the NIOSH publication No. 2007 191
Manual Material Handling.

Engineering and Administrative Improvements

When it comes to ergonomics, engineering is the best tool to use. The company can use many
different resources that can help them to eliminate the stresses causing MSDs (musculoskeletal
Disorders). The NIOSH article publication Manual Material Handling (Ergonomic guidelines for
manual material handling (DHHS [NIOSH] Publication No. 2007 191) gives some great example
for engineering control of ergonomics when it comes to the work place. Examples from the article
include rearranging, modifying, redesigning, providing or replacement tools, and equipment to name
a few (NIOSH ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
From reading the NIOSH publication given, the material can be applied to any type of work you
are doing. I like the fact it gave me ideas and those ideas can be applied to what we do daily. When
reading through Appendix A, B, C, D, and E, I got excited to see the resources that were given to
help in aiding with ergonomics. I know these resources will be getting used by me in the future of
my career in safety. My opinion on this article is... it can be a useful tool and a reliable resource
when it comes to being proactive when dealing with ergonomics. I really enjoyed reading it
through and learning from it. I can say it is safe to say the article very agreeable and a useful tool
when applying it to your workplace and to use for
Canadian Magazine Dispute Essay

The Canadian Magazine Dispute

The US Canadian Magazine Dispute was strongly motivated by genuine desire to protect foreign or
split run publication magazine by the name of Protecting Canadian culture . Canadian federal
government tried to protect its domestic magazine producers by adding significant new tax law to all
advertisement revenue consider being the split run publication magazine.
The government of Canada was pressured to protect its local magazine producer industry market
because of the Canadian consumer became interested in buying foreign or split run publication
magazine. The Consumer buying foreign magazine culture directly impact the local magazine
industry financial interest.
Given that only 11 percent of Canadian local magazine constitute the total sale of the magazine
industry in the country, I don t think it will be a good reason that can impact Canadian culture. Both

In my opinion, it s true people have the right to take their own control and navigation, I don t like
either a government or institution to force me to something I don t believe or have interest to read
or write. It all takes us to the rights of freedom to express or exercise our democratic value.
Considering the government of Canada protectionism under the name of culture to impose what
the Canadians have to buy, it s completely wrong it has to be the people choice, the government
has to reflect it s own people image or interest. Canadian people considered being well educated and
civilized. Canadian local magazine has to take a look at their own people and provide what the
consumer need. The government shouldn t involve in this
Ecological Anthropology And Cultural Ecologist
Ecological Anthropology is the study of how humans cope with problems in their environment such
as survival, reproduction, development, longevity or spatial positions of people (Moran, 2008).
Ecological Anthropologist and Cultural Ecologist do not ascribe to environmental determinism
instead they view the relationship between humans and the environment as more possibilistic,
explaining that the process may result in alternative behaviors (Reitz and Wing, 2008; 14). The
Historical Ecological perspective provides a temporal structural and functional framework to a
changing landscape by analyzing how humans alter the environment and how in turn a changing
environment alters humanactivity (Reitz and Wing, 2008; Crumley, 1994). Faunal analysis takes a
prominent role in these ecological frameworks and therefore in Zooarchaeology.
Post Processual (Archaeology) During the 1970s and 1980s the processual archaeologist
rediscovered the concept of culture as a source of cross cultural idiosyncratic variation in human
beliefs and behaviors (Trigger, 2006; 444) that emphasized context, ideology, and symbolism in
what is now known as post processual archaeology (Gibbs, 2000; 67). This influence did not have
an immediate effect on Zooarchaeology; however, in the past 10 years an increasing demand for an
integrated approach has resulted in what is now being called Social Zooarchaeology.

How Did Beethoven Develop
Beethoven was one of the greatest composers of the Classical period.

Photos.com/Photos.com/Getty Images

Beethoven was one of the most influential composers of the Classical period. His music inspired
others and set the stage for the music of the Romantic period. His father had wanted him to become
the next Mozart and play piano professionally. One myth about Beethoven involves the rumors
around his deafness. It is true that by the time he finished his last symphony he was deaf, but he had
a lifetime of writing music to develop the skills necessary to write, even when he could no longer
hear. Beethoven began losing his hearing in 1801.

Musical Style

Beethoven was one of the greatest composers of the Classical period. His music overlaps two
time periods, as he helped to define and expand the Classical period into the Romantic period. If
you follow the progression of his compositions, you can see his music transition from a very
typical, orderly and balance Classical style to one of experimentation that pushed the boundaries of
the music of his time. Beethoven lived from Dec. 17, 1770, to March 26, 1827.

He studied counterpoint, the combining of several independent lines to create harmony and worked
toward mastering the current compositional style of the time. If you listen to his first two
symphonies from this period, and you will notice they are typical of a Classical period work.
Beethoven doesn t begin to distinguish himself and create his own compositional style until his
middle or second period. The first period consists of the years from 1792 to 1802 during which he
dealt largely with a move from Bonn, Germany, to Vienna, Austria. Beethoven mastered writing for
smaller ensembles during this
Army EO program
The Army s equal opportunity programs mission is as said here The Equal Opportunity (EO)
program formulates, directs, and sustains a comprehensive effort to maximize human potential to
ensure fair treatment for military personnel, family members, and civilians without regard to race,
color, gender, religion, or national origin, and provide an environment free of unlawful discrimination
and offensive behavior. The mission of the equal opportunity is pretty clear to myself. The program
protects everyone in the army no matter what race, sex, religious preference, etc. from discrimination
from anyone. The equal opporunity program is considered a commanders program. They should be

Diverse people tend to have more diverse thinking styles, backgrounds, viewpoints, and values
tending to create a more effective unit. Equal Opportunity Reporting System (EORS) is used to
collect, record and maintain racial, ethnic, and gender data and stats that support the equal
opportunity program. These reports contain complaint information, commander profile, population
report, major subordinate command data, EOA listing, quarterly EO report, unit assessment report.
Complaint information is the number of complaints filed by quarter by type. Command report is
the breakdown of command by race, ethnic, and gender. Population reports are units population
racial ethnicity and gender groups. Major subordinate command data or MSC is a listing of all
MSC and includes a breakdown of number of brigades battalions and companies. EOA listing is a
alphabetical listing of all EOAs with information on race, gender, unit, level, staffing, and comments.
Quarterly EO reports are who conducts command inspection program or CIP/ Staff assistance visits
or SAV, number of training sessions conducted and number of commanders and first sergeants who
attend commanders courses. Unit assessment reports or UA are listings of unit assessments
conducted for the quarter by MSC or unit level to include the tool used to conduct the UA and
comments. There are many military equal opportunity courses that are available for

In Kiese Laymon How to Slowly Kill yourselves and others in America and Brent Staples Black
Men and Public Spaces both essays deal with being an African American man but the authors
respond in a different ways. At one point in history being an African American wasn t always the
easiest but two Authors shared their stories about the experiences they had which were very
different. Although the color of their skin is the same and how they treated was as well both authors
take different precaution s to handle the situations they were in to persuade the audience on how to
deal with the effects of racism. Both authors show their hidden message through the actions

He also uses very vulgar language and says the word Shit a lot. When uses these terms laymon
makes his story more relatable and is showing his true colors instead of writing how someone wants
him to write. Laymon writes what truly happened as if we were reliving the situations ourselves
with him there beside us. When it comes to Staples essay you may have a harder time reading it
because he has a stronger use of language and uses words like proprietor and constitutionals with
staples using this language it unrelatable unless you have a higher education. His writing seems as if
he was writing this essay to a certain audience that is higher educated.
The hidden message between How to Slowly Kill yourselves and others in America and Black
Men and Public Spaces is eventually the best way to deal with racism and hardship is to take a
peaceful approach and think about that actions or words you are going to say. Even though in the
beginning Laymon was very aggressive and fought back without a second thought, he later goes
on to tell you that truly doesn t know all the right and wrong answers in life and that if he could
go back in life and change a couple things he would but he still leave you hanging to make your
own decisions of whether you think violence is helpful and resolves situations or if it just makes
them worse. Staples goes through his whole essay being very peaceful and not causing trouble with
