Good Afternoon Team Communication
Good Afternoon team players! After coming from a seminar for the health care industry, it is
intriguing that the team as a whole must come together and have communication. The important
thing is communication; this will help each and every person to communicate more successfully.
Every person works in the same workplace and must have an understanding amongst one another as a
team. However, having communicationeach person must have define, organization, and implement.
Nevertheless, when going to the conference, it is known that a person should not just focus on
working in the healthcare environment, but instead, he or she as individuals should concentrate on
the patients. The conference taught not just numerous but others how active listening
Essay on Formalistic Analysis of Kate Chopin s Desiree s...
Formalistic Analysis of Désirée s Baby

The short story Désirée s Baby is told by a third person omniscient point of view. The narrator,
whose character or relationship to the story never receives any discussion, is a seemingly all
knowing observer of the situation. Although the narrator does not take sides towards issues that
arise during the course of the text, her general view does shape the overall characterization of the
white Southern society. The text exhibits interesting clues such as word choice, tone and mood,
reappearing symbols and references that enrich the story and intensify its underlining message.

The choice of French names and words reminds the reader of the stories setting and helps create an

L Abri means shelter in French. It is ironic how Madame Valmondé shudders at the sight of it and
finds it to be a sad looking place . In the beginning the plantation virtually becomes a place of
harmony and goodness since it is the home of Désirée and her joy. As the plot advances, however,
this previously mentioned grimness begins to break through, until the young mother is forced to
leave the plantation. Armands prestigious estate therefore proves to be less than a shelter for his
sensitive and gentle wife.

The tone and mood created throughout the text and its drastic shift greatly affect the readers
feelings on the situation. The first couple of paragraphs depict the newlyweds as a happy couple,
filled with the joy of the birth of their son. As Désirée s mother visits her daughter appears to be
overfilled with happiness. The descriptive details that first introduce the reader to Désirée make the
young woman and her surroundings appear overly idyllic. She enthusiastically tells about her
husband and it becomes evident that her life revolves around him and his well being. The narrator
further mentions that young Armand s roughness had been softened by the presence of his loving
wife and son. The overall mood created throughout the first part of the story is one of joy and
harmony. This clashes with the atmosphere created by the description of the latter part of the story.

Natural Disasters in Nuclear Energy
Natural Disasters in Nuclear Energy Development
Carlaine Puckett
Strayer University

Abstract
The modern day dependency on fossil fuels has led to a global search for ethical and environmentally
sound alternative energy. Among the most powerful is nuclear energy, though it is mired in
controversy. This essay describes, among other things, the nuclear energy process, and with it the
weaknesses. Amid the hope of one day using nuclear energy as a green energy source, there is much
fear of devastation, due to the four main nuclear disasters in Earth s history. After the most recent
nuclear disaster, Fukushima, Germany reversed their stance on nuclear energy, denouncing any
future involvement with the research, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once we are liberated from our dependence upon fossil fuels, we can leap into the sustainable future
nuclear power promises to provide. Nuclear energy is created through a complicated scientific
process. This process utilizes an amount of natural resources so small that it is by far the most
productive form of alternative energy. Uranium deposits are found in rocks around the world. The
rocks are crushed and then leached to dissolve the uranium. Yellowcake (uranum oxide U308) is
precipitated out of the solution and converted into gaseous form. It is then enriched with the U 235
isotope, turned into pellets, and incased in long metal tubes known as fuel rods. These fuel rods
comprise the core of a nuclear reactor. Water is poured over the reactor to regulate its temperature.
During this part of the process, the water is converted to steam which is channeled through turbines,
thus creating electricity (WNA, 2011). The above mentioned process contains weaknesses. However,
through planning, and error scientists have been able to minimize, if not even eliminate the treat
level from these weaknesses. At the uranium mines, tailings are produced, which are the materials
that can be left over after the mining process. During the operation of nuclear energy small amounts
of radioactive isotopes are released. At the reactor site, spent nuclear fuel, including plutonium
Cause Of Pompei Earthquake
Pompeii

T he city of Pompeii was recovering from an earthquake in 63 AD when Mount Vesuvius erupted
killing nearly 2,000 people initially and nearly 10,000 more in the 25 hour darkness that ensured.
The city was rebuilding and from the view of Pliny the Younger the plume of smoke looked like a
Mediterranean pine tree that was miles high and wide Pliny s uncle Pliny the Elder was killed by
volcanic rock while trying to save people from Pompeii. The volcano is considered the most
dangerous one in the world even though people still build around the volcano and unlike those that
suffered Pompeii was never rebuilt it is a very big tourist attraction though. The buildings and items
were preserved very well because of the ash and pumice.
Summary Of Shirley Jackson s The Lottery
Is it Worth It?
In The Lottery by Shirley Jackson, Jackson writes the story from a third person s point of view to
tell a story about this village that celebrates this annual event. The narrator tells us all these details
about the event but leaves the most important detail out until the very end. When people normally
hear the word Lottery they quickly think winning is a positive thing but for the villagers in The
Lottery winning isn t something they look forward to. Shirley Jackson s The Lottery uses irony,
foreshadowing, and symbolism to build suspense throughout the story and make the ending of the
story a realization rather than a surprise to the reader.
Every year villagers gather together in the town square to begin the annual Lottery which everyone
is required to attend. The setting is a small featureless town we re only three hundred people
lived. In other towns, it normally takes longer but in this town the lottery was finished right
before lunch. School wasn t in session so kids showed up first. The girls started conversations
amongst themselves and the boys, Bobby Martin, Harry Jones, and Dickie Delacroix, began to
pocket stones. Husbands and then wives show up after and gather their families while waiting for
Mr. Summer to arrive with the black box. Once he arrived chatter amongst everyone died. At this
point in the story everyone begins to become nervous and once the black box is placed on the stool
all the villagers make sure to keep their distance
Difference Between Kindle And Smartphone
The Kindle Versus the Smartphone.
People have been comparing and contrasting things since the beginning of time. This product works
better than that, that one can do everything this one can do except that. The world wants to have the
biggest and best item so they start to compare every little detail of every little thing in order to be
wholly satisfied. My example is going to be showing the differences and similarities between the
Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Kindle Fire HD. There are many things the Samsung can do, things a
Kindle Fire HD can do, and finally what the two products can both do well. The Samsung is able
to do a lot of things that the Kindle cannot, such as take pictures. The Samsung has a camera that
allows me to always be able to take a photo of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I enjoy watching movies on it, because the screen is a decent size and it is also portable. So I could
download a few movies and be able to take it when my family goes places. I can watch movies on
my phone but, the kindle s bigger screen takes the experience to a whole new level. Another thing I
like is that it allows me to play some of my favorite games on a bigger screen which can make it
easier to work with. The Kindle is better for reading as well. There is a reason that the first Kindle
started as a reading device. It allows me to be able to read basically all of the books I want in a
device that is almost the size of a regular book. With the Samsung I can read books however the
smaller screen makes it difficult to get that reading experience that I absolutely love.
Though there are many differences between the Samsung and the Kindle they also have many
similarities. They are both able to access the internet so I can do research for an essay or just get
on Facebook to connect with friends I have not seen in a long time. They also both have the ability
for me to listen to music, something that is good because I need music like I need my
Differences Between Religions And Religions
Sects are commonplace in many forms of faith, no matter the religion there are still beliefs that
differ from sect to sect. As with monotheistic religions such as Christianity, polytheistic religions
like Hinduism also consist of sects. First off, sects are sub groups of a religion that differ in beliefs
and these differing principles can be anything, such as the varying belief of who is considered the
primary deity or creator. In Hinduismalone there are four primary sects: Shivaism, Vaishnavism,
Shaktism, and Smartism. The difference between each sect is as previously mentioned, each
variation believes in differing principle supreme beings or deities. These four denominations are in
complete contrast to Christianity, in which there are a great deal more in number and with varying
differences. As the third largest religion in the world, after Christianity and Islam, the populations of
the denominations would be assumed to be evenly spread amongst the four, but that is not the case.
Vaishnavites occupy a large portion of followers with an astounding 70%, followed by Shivaites with
26%, and the other two (Shaktites and Smartites) combining to form the remaining 4%. This highly
skewed information is in complete opposition to Christianity, of which has multiple sects which are
further sorts into sub sects and are move evenly spread. The reasoning behind the skewed numbers
of believers can be primarily attributed to the fact that Christianity sects differ so much more
Advantages And Disadvantages Of Noc
ABSTRACT

Network on chip (NoC) is the most reasonable and efficient solution for connecting the numerous
cores in a System on Chip(SoC). In conventional NoC architectures neighboring routers are
connected via hard wired unidirectional communication channels. Due to the uneven and
unpredictable nature of traffic patterns in NoC, one channel might be overflowed due to heavy
traffic in one direction where as the other unidirectional channel is idle, thus causing performance
degradation, data loss and incompetent resource utilization. So as a cure for this problem, a
bidirectional NoC (BiNoC) is used, which uses bidirectional channels to connect neighboring routers
and it also supports runtime recomputation of channel direction according ... Show more content on

The Giver Vs Pleasantville
A Meaningful Life The beautiful unrepayable gift of life we receive at the moment of birth has to
be one of the most complicated things to understand. People go through so many experiences in a
lifetime to learn and grow up to be unique individuals. Life is an incredible experience, but why do
some of us spend our time following uneventful lifestyles that restrain us from attaining happiness?
Using a transition from a black and white world to one of color, both the novel The Giver and the
film Pleasantville, suggest the importance of living a life of meaning as each narrative s main
character embarks on a quest to discover the beauty of emotions and the individuality of which they
have been deprived. The Giver lives in a colorless dystopian... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Being the receiver of memory was a very important job in the community, however the citizens
have no idea what the receiver actually does. While citizens have a very simple life with nothing
to worry about, the receiver and giver of memory take on a very emotional life filled with pain.
They have so much knowledge from memories that they can t share with anyone, and this can be
painful in itself. The Giver tell Jonas, The worst part of holding the memories is not the pain. It s
the loneliness of it. Memories need to be shared (Lowry 33). This pain comes from living a
meaningful life, so it can be considered beautiful compared to others in the dystopia who feel
nothing, nevertheless it still hurts as shown by the
Theme Of Allusion In Grass And English Con Salsa
History and Allusion in grass and English con salsa According to Kennedy and Dana, an allusion is
where a person, place or thing is referred to indirectly, either by text or as an illustration (Kennedy
and Dana 408). When allusions are used in a poem, it is assumed that the poet and the reader share a
common body of knowledge. The poems grass by Carl Sandburg and English con salsa by Gina
Valdès are both similar in the sense that they both employ allusions in their narratives. Furthermore,
the allusions in these poems discusses history and reflecting on the role of a person in history. The
poem grass has five allusions which are Austerlitz, Waterloo, Gettysburg, Ypres, and Verdun. On the
other hand, English con salsa alludes to Xochicalco, Tuxpan River, Benito Juarez, George
Washington, Donald Duck, Batman, Teocaltiche, Uruapàn, Oaxacan, Juchitàn, Zapotec, Nahuatl,
Santa Tristeza, Santa Alegria, Santo Todolopuede, Lake Pàtzcuaro, Jalisco, Santee, and La Jolla.
Interestingly, both poems discuss renowned history through the illusions. In grass, line 1 in the first
stanza states that Pile the bodies high at Austerlitz and Waterloo (Sandburg 126). The use of the
word Austerlitz points out to the historic Battle of Austerlitz. Historically, the Battle of Austerlitz
occurred in 1805 involving armies from French, Austria, and Russia. There was a high number of
casualties in the battle, which the phrase discusses by stating pile the bodies high (Sandburg 126).
