1984 Figurehead Quotes
Can a country survive with nothing except hatred to others? Joseph Stalin attempted to rule
Russia under this system. He brought fear to the people by killing people who rejected his rule
and anyone who being accuse of dislike Stalin. Under his rule, the people cannot trust others
because people can take advantage of accusing someone and make that person disappear by the
next day. This system was in use by Nazi as well as INGSOC from 1984. Eventually this system fall
after Stalin died and it only took 29 years. However in the book 1984 by George Orwell, INGSOC
use their power to control the people of Oceania and create a figurehead as known as Big Brother.
Like Stalin, Big Brother use hate and fear to control the people. Here a matter is that Big Brother is

Starting with resources, Oceania has to run out of resources eventually because the three
superstates Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia cannot conquer each other s stated from The Theory
and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism by Emmanuel Goldstein. The superstates at war with
each other s for the North Africa, Middle East, and South Asia and this require using large amount
of resources to keep this war going. For example, Winston has to hoarder the razor blade stated
from this quotes, Actually he had two unused ones which he was hoarding up (Orwell, 48).
Resources are limited, but not unlimited and if those resources ran out then the purpose of war
will died. For the superstates, war is power to control their people to give them reason to have
war. Ingsoc use this type of purpose to make people to love Big Brother. If the war died because
the resources, then there will be peace and peace can make people to think again, which Ingsoc
does not like when people think outside of their principle. Therefore Ingsoc keep the war going and
if the war died, then Big Brother will die with

The last painting is by Paul C ezanne entitled The Gulf of Marseilles, seen from l Estaque 1885.
Which is a view of the gulf from a high position of oceans and mountains. There are yellow,
orange, red, and green that lies against one another. The first post impressionist painting by
Seurat is important because it is a carefully controlled scientific application of tiny dots of color.
This method of painting came to be known as Pontilles. The second painting by Vangogh, Starry
Nights is significant because it shows his broad brushstrokes. It also shows elements from
impressionist and post impressionist. It seems to unite the earth and the sky. The third painting
by Paul Cezanne is significant because he tried to show his vision but forgot every thing that
went before it. The roofs and walls of the houses are not drawn in proper perspective. The special
element is changed and the sea seems to hang like a curtain over the village. The Seurat, a Sunday
on La Grande Jatte, shows a range of people. This is a clear example of what our company is made
up of having a wide range of people. Animals co exist with humans. This shows a respect and
appreciation of nature that our company includes. This can be seen in our commitment to the
environment. Starry Night is relevant to our company because the swirls represent winds, currents,
and movements. Our company in our marketplace is being challenged by the winds of change in

Participate in Webinar Conference Develop a vision focused list of questions in the form of an
organizer that all members can use while designing and implementing a school program. Questions
can include; Describe how this program complements the school vision? Identify activities that can
be implemented into the program that bring awareness to the school vision? With the PLC plan
defined and outlined, strategies should be implemented to avoid pitfalls among team members. The
two dysfunctions that the team is likely to be susceptible to is fear of conflict and lack of
commitment . While the team members get along great with each other, members hesitate to express
their view of a proposed idea for lack of causing conflict. Strategies used to avoid this dysfunction
include; addressing the concern early while establishing meeting norms, and acknowledging that
conflict is productive (Lencioni, 2002 p. 203). A team member will also be assigned to act as a
miner of conflict. The second dysfunction, lack of commitment manifests itself when members fail
to completely buy in to a plan. Strategies to avoid this dysfunction include; discussing contingency
plans in the event that a plan is not successful, and implementing deadlines to ensure commitment.
Members will maintain commitment to a strategy by having deadlines given. In summary, this paper
addressed the steps needed to accomplish a PLC plan. Implementing the steps listed throughout the
paper ensure that the PLC plan is effective and easy to administer for all team members
Explain Why The Hangman Gets A Close Up
The Hangman gets a Closeup Being a hangman was a fruitless job, living your life just to see death.
There was no point to it, the harm was only coming to the person who hangs people. Hangman s
decrease population and cause people to not rest in peace. While the buffoons out there trying to pull
the same old shenanigans, they are getting themselves harmed. Now enough with the people getting
hanged, let s give the hangman a closeup. A hangman hangs wayward people because hanginghas no
discipline so they have no way of getting out of it. The hangman was hostile towards the people he
hanged otherwise he wouldn t hang them. All a hangman does is basically inflict death for
something that may have been a petty crime. This was a job back in times
President Roosevelt and The Selective Training and Service...
It was 1941 and the game of baseball was at an all time high in the eyes of the American public.
During the 1941 major league baseball season the fans of game knew they witnessed two things
that would go on to be very special. First Joe DiMaggio reached a feat that very well may never
happen again, hitting safely in 56 consecutive games. Then Ted Williams went on to finish the
season with a batting average of .406, marking the last time a player has finished the season with a
batting average over .400. As baseballblossomed, the American people began to take notice, as the
sport was a source of entertainment every day for a six month span. At this time in 1941, something

Baseball began to be seen as an escape for the American people during a time of trouble. Regardless
of the personnel participating in the game, people started to go out and support baseball. With that
support, baseball managed to survive the trying times of the Second World War.
When it comes to a war, there are a number of things that play into a successful war effort. It does
not only involve the soldiers and personnel s fighting overseas to have an effect on the war but it
also includes the everyday American people at home. Morale at home is just as important as
military success abroad and President Franklin D. Roosevelt was a strong believer in the necessity of
morale at home to ensure a strong war effort overseas. Roosevelt was also a huge fan of the game of
baseball, making a record eight opening day appearances as President. His love for the game was so
strong that it nearly caused him to lose his job as a young attorney in New York City, as he would
sneak out of work to a number of Giants games at the Polo Grounds. The strong passion President
Roosevelt had for the game made it easy for him to say play ball following the attack on Pearl
Harbor.
In January of 1942, the commissioner of major league baseball, Kenesaw Mountain Landis, sent
President Roosevelt a long handwritten letter. In this letter, Landis asked Roosevelt if
