Hebrew Wisdom on Diligence and Laziness There is a great deal of Hebrew wisdom in the Bible in
regards to the subjects of diligence and laziness. Throughout the book of Proverbs the words of lazy
and diligence can be found in many different forms. Sluggish, sluggard, and idle describe laziness.
The word diligence can also be considered as, thorough, attentive, and persistence. Each of these
words, found in the Bible, can reference diligence, and laziness within Hebrew Wisdom in many
cases.
The book of Proverbs is the Hebrew book of Wisdom. Its purpose is to provide ... Show more content

A true witness delivers souls, but a deceitful witness speaks lies (Proverbs 14:24 25). Being a
diligent man does not mean to hoard what the Lord has given you, but to share the knowledge and
wisdom of God with all he comes in contact with. Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest
you also be like him (Proverbs 26:4). This is a warning to those who walk with the Lord in their
hearts. Do not answer a fool in a foolish manner; answer them with the wisdom that God has given
you. Share the wisdom of God so they might change their ways.
The Bible paints us the picture of being diligent as one of being thorough, persistent and works
hard. They keep the ways of the Lord in their heart. Those of folly lack the sense to know the
difference in what they are doing is not the ways of the Lord. As for those that are speaking of as
lazy, they are lost and doomed to a life of strife, hardship, and ultimately final judgment to the fiery
depths. Only the wisdom of a diligent man can help save those of folly and lazy, and guide them
toward God.
Parking on Campus
Parking on Campus is a Pain New students entering Western Michigan University are allowed to
have a car on campus. With every new freshmen class entering each year, parking poses a
problem. WMU is already limited in its parking on campus and since freshmen are allowed to
have cars, the students are faced with the dilemma of having nowhere to park or parking quite far
from their destination. There are parking problems all over the campus, creating backups in
residence hall and other lots, resulting in students parking illegally to avoid walking far distances,
which can be quite irritating in the bitter cold. Parking closer seems like the rational thing to do, but
it is a risk, which can result in hundreds of dollars worth of traffic... Show more content on

The busses are mostly useful to those students because it saves them 10 minutes, but only runs
about every 20 minutes, meaning that if a student happens to just miss the bus, then they usually
have to walk. Students living on main campus also face quite a nuisance. One commented that
the parking lot at Henry hall is way too small to be considered reliable. There are probably about
50 parking spots and about 200 people who live there, resulting in having to circle around and
search for other lots to park in. Finding a spot during weekends is noticeably easier than weekdays
but only because that s when a lot of students leave campus. Most places where students park
when they go to class are a lot farther away than people want them to be. When students have to
leave to be someplace on time, they usually have to add in the time that it s going to take for them
to get to their cars, which could be an extra 5 10 minutes. There needs to be additional parking on
campus made for visitors and also for students. There also needs to be additional parking meters
added for students living off campus, who often have trouble finding a spot. The college is
overpopulated, resulting in loads of backed up parking lots. Faculty already has reserved parking;
however the limited amount of parking on campus is forcing students and visitors to park in
reserved faculty lots. Parking is
Essay On Moral Dilemmas In The Crucible
What is a moral dilemma? A moral dilemma is a man versus self conflict. It is when a character
has to perform two different actions, but they can not perform both actions because it is not
possible. Authors use moral dilemmas in their writings to retain the reader s interest in the book
or play and to have the reader ask questions. People often face many life altering choices such as
right versus wrong or good versus bad. In The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, John Proctor chooses to
die because he does not want to blacken his name throughout Salem and to ruin his sons names
when they grow up. John Proctor faces one of his many moral dilemmas to confess to witchcraft in
order to stay alive. In making this decision he has to think about his... Show more content on

The second moral dilemma John Proctor faces is to tell the truth and die as an honest man. He
has the choice to either lie in order to live or die with his friends in an honourable way. Proctor
realizes that if he choses to tell the truth he will no longer be the sinful man he thought he is, but
would keep his name in good standing and be a good role model for his sons. I have three
children how may I teach them to walk like men in the world, and I sold my friends? (IV.I). If
John chooses to live he will be looked upon by his friends and family as a liar and an unmoral
man. He will not be able to function in the Puritan society, so he comes to the conclusion to tell
the truth and be put to death. He believes God will save him because he is doing the right thing by
choosing to die and he will be remembered for his dignity. His wife Elizabeth watches the hanging
and says, He have his goodness now. God forbid I take it from him! (IV.I). As Proctor is about to
be hanged, sunlight shines throughout the town representing John made the right decision and he
will be going to God. After all, John Proctor does give up his life, but he knows he saves his sons
from walking around with a tainted name and keeps the names of his friends clean, not betraying
them. John Proctor chooses to die by telling the truth and dying an honest man. Even though he
loses his life for his decision, he is able to forgive
The Allocation Of Funds Is An Ongoing Debate
The allocation of funds is an ongoing debate when administering all aspects of fiscal policy. Policy
makers around the world routinely debate what should take precedence when it comes to
government spending. In general, lawmakers fall into one of two categories. They either believe and
support that more government funds should be spent on social services, or the opposing view is that
more should be allocated toward defense spending. Despite what elected officials might think, there
is a finite amount of funds, therefore, without continuing to increase the national debt, an increase in
spending in one category should cause a decrease in another. In 2016, the United States spent $615
billion on defense, $914 billion towards social security,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Military spending for Benoit contributed to improved productivity and infrastructure. For countries
who have a higher production capacity, military spending increases, as well as, aggregate demand,
investment, and utilization of production. As a result, output is stimulated. In summary, despite the
diverse set of countries observed, there was a 3.33 percent mean increase found in GDP growth.
(Dicle and Dicle 2017). One country examined specifically is China. As a rising dominant military
and economic power, China s military and economic correlation holds significant relevance on a
global perspective. Our findings confirmed a positive relationship between China s economy and
military spending. One source approaches our research question from a unique angle. Atesoglu
focuses on the relationship between the two variables from a global viewpoint. Given that the world
is globally anarchic, there is no supreme authority that controls all aspects of international relations
(Atesoglu 2013). Thus, each state must maximize their military power to survive as a sovereign
state. Sonmez concludes, Economic growth relaxes the wealth constraint and allows for more
military power. This theory implies that by increasing a country s wealth, economic growth results in
an increase in military spending. proving an undeniable relationship (Atesoglu 2013). Furthermore,

The Effects Of Vitamin D And Its Effects On Children
traviolet (UV) rays from sunlight to activate it.
Breastmilk contains a small amount of vitamin D but that is not adequate for proper infant
development; therefore, exclusively breastfed infants should receive a supplement of vitamin D
shortly after birth.17 The current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendations for
vitamin D intake is 400 IU per day for all infants, children, and adolescents, beginning the first few
days after birth.18
Deficiency of vitamin D is known as rickets and can have severe and lasting effects on children as
they grow. Inadequate intake of vitamin D also decreases intestinal absorption of calcium and
phosphorus, causing improper mineralization of bones and teeth and resulting in swelled joints,
bowed legs, and poor growth during childhood. (See Figure 6.9.)
Iron
A full term infant is born with iron stores that reflect the mother s iron levels. If the mother
consumes an iron rich diet during pregnancy, the fetus builds iron stores to last the first 4 6
months of life. By 6 months, a breastfed infant needs an additional iron source, at which time, iron
fortified infant cereals can meet this need. The AAP recommends iron fortified formula for all
formula fed babies. Preterm infants have lower iron stores at birth that are depleted around 2 3
months of age.19 Human milk is a source of iron, and compared with infant formula, a higher
percentage of the iron in breastmilk is absorbed: 50% of the iron in breastmilk is absorbed, whereas

Destruction Of Order In Lord Of The Flies Analysis
The Destruction of Order in Lord of the Flies Fear has affected everyone at some point in their
life. Usually, it s just a temporary feeling of extreme panic, a racing heart, and cloudy thoughts.
However, what happens when this feeling is constant over a long period of time? That s the case
in William Golding s novel, Lord of the Flies, where a group of boys are stuck on an island after
their plane gets shot down. Once they establish a rudimentary government with a boy named
Ralph as the elected chief, everything seems to go fine for the boys until fear begins to
encompass them. Whether it s fear of a beast, the unknown, or even each other, this fear begins to
tear away at the sanity of the boys until nearly all the boys become bloodthirsty, disorganized
savages and join the tribe of a once reasonable boy named Jack. Overall, this novel shows how fear s
effect on perception and behavior causes people to stop being logical and reasonable, leading to the
deterioration of a group s order and people forgetting their priorities. The orderof the boys
rudimentary government deteriorating as they become more fearful of the island reflects how the
lack of logic and reasondue to fear leads to the decline of order. The clearest example that shows
the degradation of order is the change in how boys act at their assemblies, which are gatherings
announced by Ralph when he blows into a conch to notify the boys that an assembly is taking place.
At the assemblies, Ralph decides to make
Atticus Is A Good Father
To be a Good Father What must a father do to protect his children? In the novel To Kill a
Mockingbird by Harper Lee, The father, Atticus struggles to protect his children from the
negative racial stigma that comes from his work defending a black man accused of rape. His job
begins to cause trouble in the little town of Maycomb, Alabama. Yet, Atticus is able to be an
outstanding father to Jem and Scout because of his courage and adversity against the racism they
all face. Atticus is a devoted father to Jem and Scout because he is kind and seeks to be the best
role model for his children. It s very hard to be a good role model but Atticus comes very close.
Atticus teaches his kids about preservation of life no matter how big or small. Even

Key factors that influence success of NIKE
If a company is able to establish brand awareness, they will have a significant advantage in grabbing
consumer s attention and, therefore, market share. In today s society where consumers have
significantly less time to shop and compare, brand awareness is critical. If an established brand name
effectively conveys the messages of quality and dependability, consumers will automatically go to
that brand relying on the image that has been created when they don t have time to shop around.
Manufacturing efficiency is something that companies are constantly striving for as well. Athletic
shoe manufacturers must balance the costs of labor, raw materials, shipping, import tariffs, and
technological advancements. In an effort to keeps costs down, the industry has been looking to
overseas sourcing. This reduces the risk of losing revenue if one region which a manufacturer incurs
problems. Favorable legislation regarding foreign manufacturing has led to a huge increase in
foreign sourcing. Overseas production and sourcing can lower material, and labor costs. The
footwear companies must choose their distribution channels carefully because they want to make the
product available, yet remain true to their image and goals. Retailers account for the largest
percentage of sales, so manufacturers must be especially careful with their relationships with them.
Technological
