Sebastian Hastings Research Paper
After Sebastian Hastings has spent a couple weeks in Illyria playing soccer with his new chum,
Duke Orsino, we have finally put the puzzle pieces together.
If this findings don t shock and bewilder you, I don t know what will. Before Sebastian came to
Illyria, we saw the hot and popular hunk leaving multiple plastic surgeons, transgender support
groups and hairdressers. The crazy part is, Sebastian wasn t Sebastian when he entered those
buildings. You heard me right, Sebastian Hastings started off as a WOMAN! Viola Hastings entered
the surgeons as Viola, and left as Sebastian. Where did Viola get the name
Sebastian, you ask? Turns out, Sebastian is Viola s nearly identical twin brother, um, awkward. The
pair look so alike that with a bit of facial reconstruction, added facial hair, and a fresh haircut, Viola
became Sebastian Hastings. We had a chat to the REAL Sebastian Hastings who stated, I didn t
know Viola ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We do however see Viola s reasoning for this gender change. Women are dehumanized and
misrepresented in 21st Century societies. Sexism runs rampant as individuals, like Viola, aren t
able to engage in things that everyone should be able to partake in things like sport, for instance.
By faking her gender, Viola attempted to break these harsh gender barriers, and to simply be
treated equally. After Viola, uh, Sebastian revealed his, or her, real gender at a soccer game, Duke
and her were smitten and all over eachother. This may come to an end as we recently spoke to Viola.
I may go back to being a man. I was seen as tough and was allowed to play the sports I like without
being judged. Soon after the interview, Duke Orsino, Viola s new love tweeted He or she, I love this
person! . Quickly after the media acted with sexuality rumours, Duke quickly deleted the tweet. Now
the questions remain, is Viola meant to be Sebastian and has Duke s sexuality changed? Tweet your

Analysis Of The Kern s Article Gendered Urbanization
In relation to this, Kern s article Gendered Urbanization illustrates how the factors attracting affluent
women to the new condominiums in Parkdale are often the same instruments of oppression against
the residents; according to her research, an attractive aspect of the new condominiums are security
measures put into place to keep out the impoverished, and therefore dangerous, communities within
Parkdale, such as a 24 hour concierge, double locks on all apartment doors, and a video monitor at
the front desk. Even if street[s] are very quiet (Kern 372, III) the design of the buildings project and
imply a criminal, unpredictable nature onto the original residents of Parkdale, and enshrines these
expectations into the built environment . One resident interviewed stated my [apartment] has twenty
four hour security, and they don t let anybody in without talking to security. Residents are not
allowed to let anybody in, even if you open the doors (Kern 372, IV). Therefore, the communitylost
to the shift in housing rates is not replaced with incoming residents, but rather the two communities
are segregated by classist infrastructure and stereotypes that push the lower income people to the
outskirts of Parkdale. This leads to a huge sense of isolation and unease in the community of original
Parkdale residents because, not only are they threatened and disadvantaged financially, the
implantation on these condominiums are actively keeping them out.

Persuasive Essay On Blue Whales
What would the ocean be like without whales? One thing that is never thought about when whales
are being hunted is how important they are. For humans to understand the purpose of the whale and
just going off the information one has learned may be different. Understanding the whale may be
more complex than thought out to be. There is more to know about whales other than they can be
big intimidating creatures. It is important to make sure whales are being protected. When an
individual enters in a different environment they do not think about the potential danger that could
be caused. Because whales are important to the food chain and also the marine life ecosystem,
individuals should consider saving the whales. Whales are sentinels of the health... Show more

Whales, such as killer whales, are unfairly stereotyped as dangerous or terrifying animals. From
1999 2010 marine mammals accounted for fifteen deaths, two of the deaths were by a single killer
whale in captivity where conditions are not the greatest for whales (Rose). Although there is
information on marine mammal related deaths there is no specific data on whale related deaths,
meaning that the deaths could have come from another species. Whales play an important role in the
flow of aquatic ecosystems. Blue Whales consume about forty trillion krill per day on average. By
consuming that krill they are doing their part of stabilizing the oceanic ecosystem. Scientists are also
learning more about whales and getting better understandings of their species, the cetacean. By
performing biological studies and many observations scientists are able to learn about whale
communication, intelligence, as well as environmental impacts. When scientists better understand
whales they can find even more reasons as to protect whales and the importance of them from an
environmental standpoint. Whales should be understood more and treated more fairly than they
have been, they are an important part of the marine
Nature s Supernatural Effect On Frankenstein And His Monster
Nature s Supernatural Effect on Frankenstein and his monster Nature influences us everyday,
whether it is noticed by us or not. However, nature rarely has a supernatural effect on us in
comparison to Victor Frankenstein and his monster. Nature controls the plot of Mary Shelley s
book, Frankenstein. The events that happen in the book are seasonally based making it easily
predictable. Victor creates the monster in the fall when everything is dying and coming to an
end. Victor awakens in the spring when the monster is gone and nature begins a new year of life.
Victor s biggest mistake is his ambition. By playing God and controlling nature, trying to
preventing death, Victor starts a series of misfortunes for himself and the people he loves. Victor
and the monster struggle to find their places in the world and look toward nature for comfort and
guidance. Nature cures Victor several times from near death. When Victor creates the monster he
realizes what he has done and becomes extremely sick. Victor writes in his letter to Elizabeth, my
health and spirits had long been restored, and they gained strength from the salubrious air I
breathed (Shelley 72). Through the healing powers of spring, and some care from Henry, Victor
recovers. After the deaths of William and Justine and Victor s promise, to create a companion for
the monster, Victor becomes distraught. Instead of seeking the comfort of his family he decides to
leave with Henry to London and sight see
Catholic Beliefs Of Ecumenism
Catholicism is the world s largest denomination which is part of the apostolic church. The catholic
origin and way of life was established by Jesus Christ during the 33 A.D time period. During Jesus s
lifetime, he and his twelve disciples spent their time, nurturing and developing the faith of
catholicism, through their rites, beliefs and practices. Today there are over 1.2 billion catholics
following the church s beliefs and practices under the head of the catholic churchPopeFrancis who is
recognised as the successor of St Peter .

Under the guidance of Jesus Christ, the catholic faith and other christian denominations attempt to
unite together through a process called Ecumenism. During Jesus s lifetime he preached one main

Catholicism teaches catholics to worship their lord by following the seven sacraments. The
seven sacraments include; Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick,
Holy Orders, and Matrimony. The Catholic Church sees baptism as the first and basic sacrament
of Christian initiation. Baptism is the act of sprinkling water onto a person s forehead or
immersing them in water. Confirmation is done to seal the gift of the Holy Spirit and to
strengthen someone s christian life. During conformation, a bishop anoints a person by using oil
of Chrism to make the sign of the cross on their forehead. The sacrament of Penance (also known
as Reconciliation) is the first sacrament of healing. During Penance catholics confess any sins
they have committed after baptism, to a priest. There priest follows the four steps of forgiveness
and forgives them for their sins. Anointing of the sick is the second sacrament of healing. It
involves anointing those who are extremely sick and are highly likely to die. It is a rite that is
performed to convey God s grace to the recipient, through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is also
likely to be the last sacrament that an individual s receives in their life. Holy Orders is the
sacrament where a man is made a bishop, a priest, or a deacon, and carries out the image of Christ.

The Pros And Cons Of Sieges
The use of sieges as a tactic of war is not always condemned. Sieges are tolerated under
international humanitarian law as long as they are in compliance with all applicable regulations and
their purpose is to achieve a military objective, such as the capture of an uninhabited enemy
controlled area. However, a siegeshould not target civilianobjects or cause any damage to the
civilian population. In fact, individuals taking no active part in hostilities should always receive
humane treatment. To that end, there are some IHL rules that need to be respected in siege
warfare in order for it to be permissible. The wounded and the sick must evacuate the area and be
cared for. Diplomats and citizens of neutral States residing in a besieged area... Show more content

In a siege of low or moderate intensity, one can potentially smuggle in limited amounts of
supplies or buy them on the black market for elevated prices. Residents may have access to
alternative food sources such as the local agricultural production. The UN and other humanitarian
organizations may manage to negotiate few, if any, aid deliveries but the assistance that does
pass in is rarely enough for the besieged population. Civilians in these areas are at some risk of
malnourishment or dehydration and denial of medical care. The areas are sporadically subject to
attacks by besieging forces. In a siege of high intensity, very little is able to enter through
smuggling or bribery while alternative food sources are not available. The UN and other

The Civil War Of 1861
The Civil War took place in 1861 and it lasted up until 1865. It was a war between the United
States or, The Union army rather, and eleven deep rooted southern states known as the
Confederacy. The Civil War occurred mainly as a direct response to slavery. The South preferred
to keep slavery and the North simply wanted to preserve the Union. However, there were many
other incidents that occurred and there were different battles that caused the Civil War to have
its end results. Those battles will be addressed in the following paragraphs. The very first battle
took place in 1861. It was known as both The Battle of Bull Run and the Battle of Manassas. The
Union army, led by General Irvin Manassas, was slightly larger than the Confederate army, led by
P.G.T. Beauregard. It took place in northern Virginia when the Union army marched to Manassas in
attempt to attack the Confederates. The attack appeared to be successful, but the Confederates
managed to survive. They later went on to counterattack the Union and McDowell and his army
were forced to retreat back to Washington. This battle was very detrimental and overwhelming for
the Union army, and left them in a state of disbelief. However, in 1861 the Union were still able to
make substantial progress. They were eventually able to proclaim western Virginia a new renowned
state admitted as West Virginia in 1863. Shortly after the Battle of Bull Run, the war took a turn in
favor of the Union. A Union regiment directed by David
