Breaking Bad Gender Roles
TOPIC The topic for my final research project is portrayals of gender roles within relationships in
television shows. Specifically, I will be analyzing how women in romantic relationships interact with
their partners in the television series, Breaking Bad. Female portrayals in various forms of media
have been analyzed extensively due to the genderrole stereotypes that are often maintained. The topic
of research that I am proposing requires further analysis since there has not been sufficient research
conducted in regards to women within romantic relationships. This analysis would take a closer,
more specific, look at gender differences in television.

This article is important because it looks at how gender differences within the home and the
workplace are perpetuated by popular culture in television commercials. Eight hypotheses were
created before conducting the study in regards to gender inequality in commercials. The data for
the study conducted was obtained by analyzing television commercials from a three year time
period broadcasted on popular programs (Pp. 332 33). The independent variables of the study
were sex, race, family relationship, work status, occupational category, job authority, and target
audience (Pp. 335). The outcome variables were interaction style and sex objectification (Pp. 334).
The results of the study showed that in television women are usually underrepresented, more likely
to be shown in family roles, less likely to be shown as workers, and more likely to be shown a sex
objects than men in commercials (Pp. 336 38). Overall, this study showed readers that there has been
little movement towards gender equality in television; differences between the two genders are
highlighted and
Nature And Modernism In Frankenstein
Human rules over nature and create modernity through the escape of the past. Latour s idea
interconnects in Mary Shelley s Frankenstein. In the novel, Victor Frankenstein created a creature
where he believes that it brings the idea of animation, to animate the inanimate. Moreover, Latour
mentions the relation between science, humanities, and religion. The different aspects of the world
creates nature; it is linked together. It is unethical of Victor s wrongdoings of animating the creature
then abandoning it after realizing the truth, A mummy again endued with animation could not be so
hideous as that wretch (Shelley 43). Victor s understanding towards the creation of his monster is the
modernity of Latour s belief. It is shown that Victor has abandoned the creature and has no concern
of the consequences. Latour argues that the pollution in the environment is caused... Show more

The dilemma of nature is mainly caused through the process of modernity. Latour states that the
responsibility is given to the humans that may cause a positive impact to the world. The
interpretation given by Latour is confirmed and it accurately reasonable. I believe that it is important
to play a role in society and to change the world into a better place for the humans and the nature;
whether it is an animate or inanimate
Cattle Byproducts Research Paper
When most people think of cattle byproducts, they think of steak and leather, but are either forgetful
or unaware of the other essential and inedible byproducts cattle provide society with. Many remain
unaware that beef also contributes to vital goods and services. From airplane lubricants to piano keys
produced from cattle bones, hormones and other products, arguably one of the most important cattle
byproducts is medicine. Diabetes and other diseases populate the earth in modern society. Diabetes is
a large recurring autoimmune disease in the United States where the pancreas stops producing a

Irish Spoken English Language
The conflict between the English and the Irish has had many negative effects on Irish culture and
traditions. The Irish language in particular has suffered dramatically from the presence of the
English on the island. When the English gained control of Ireland, they forced their language upon
the people there, and by the end of the nineteenth century, the Irish Gaelic language was almost
extinct. Since then the language has made somewhat of a comeback. Today there are many
Gaeltacht, or Irish speaking, areas where the most common spoken language is Irish. The language
is also taught in schools both in Northern Irelandand the Republic of Ireland. Irish is the national and
first official language of the Republic of Ireland and is recognized as an official minority language
in Northern Ireland. There have been and continue to be many efforts to preserve and encourage the
learning of the language... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first poem, A Grafted Tongue by John Montague introduces the topic with very strong
descriptions of what it feels like to be in a place where you are forced to learn a new language. This
poem highlights the discomfort and humiliation that comes with this experience. He comments on
how the English tried to get rid of the Irish language completely, but it is now taught in schools.
Teachers desperately trying to throw the language on modern Irish English speaking children so it
is not forgotten. The second poem, Received English (ix) by Mary O Malley also discusses the
difficulty of learning a new language/accent that is strange to you, but she describes how each
different tongue trying to say the new words makes them their own. Her poem brings up the
Received Pronunciation, or standard English pronunciation, brought from England. O Malley
describes how the Irish gave the words new life, with their own accent, fit for the old languages

The Tragedy Of Mary Shelley s Frankenstein Essay
Science is a broad field that encompasses many aspects of everyday life and existence. Some areas
of science include the study of the universe, environment, dinosaurs, animals and insects. Another
popular science is the study of people and how they work. In Mary Shelley s Frankenstein, Dr. Victor
Frankensteinis a scientist who studies inspiring the dead. He wants to be the first person to give life
to a dead human being. all their time to focus on this goal renounces his family and friends passed,
and. When finally this is achieved, everything crumbles. So, Victor Frankenstein is to blame for the
tragedy, not the monster he has created, because he is the mastermind behind the whole operation,
which is supposed to have everything under control, working properly as a good scientist should do.
Although some critics say the monster Victor has created is to blame for the destruction and
violence following the experiment is Victor, who is the responsible party. First, Victor, being the
scientist, should have known how to do research on the subject much more than what he had done. It
was obvious that he has not thought about the consequences that can result from it, as the monster
going crazy, how do you react monster people and things, and especially the time it will take to turn
the monster in the perfect being normal human. Obviously, this is something that could take a very
long time and a lot of patience, which lacks Victor. All Victor really wants is to be the first to

Hand Sanitizer
Antisepsis techniques have been around since the mid 1800s, pioneered by Ignaz Philip
Semmelweis. Semmelweis determined puerperal infection was being transmitted by the hands of
students to women giving birth. Semmelweis implemented a procedure that stated: any attending
individual had to wash their hands in a mixture of chlorinated lime prior to caring for a patient. This
action alone resulted in mortality rates dropping an estimated 94% within a year (Zoltán, 2007). In
hospitals today, hand hygieneremains a staple in everyday practice, through the primary use of
alcohol based hand sanitizers. However, it is estimated that at any point in time there are over 1.4
million cases of healthcare associated infections (HAI) (Ontario, 2016). Annually, in Canada alone,
it is projected that eight thousand deaths occur in hospitals and associated health care facilities due
to infections resulting from lack of proper hand hygiene (Ontario, 2016). Alcohol based hand

According to Ontario Public Health; in addition to the price of soap averaging from $1.50 per bar,
the implementation of proper hand washing technique can annually save health care systems
around the world billions (Ontario, 2016). Statistics in the United States alone have shown that
upwards of 4.5 billion dollars a year is spent on patients with HAI; a completely preventable
expense. While in Canada, expenses upwards of 40 to 52 million dollars are increasing each year
in regards to antibiotic resistant organisms (Ontario, 2016). In 2015 it was found that proper hand
washing in a 1600 bed hospital can be associated with a decrease of eight million dollars spent each
year from hospitals budget (Ontario, 2016). A substantial savings considering the ongoing issue of
limited bed space and, which budget cuts most healthcare systems are facing in today s society

Introduction for Expected Value of Sample Information...
Introduction for expected value of sample information tutor:
Expected value is the main thought in probability, in an intellect more general than probability
itself. The expected value of a real valued selection variable offers a compute of the center of the
distribution of the variable. More considerably, by taking the expected value of various functions of
a common random variable, we can calculate a lot of interesting features of its distribution, including
spread and correlation. Tutor is a personality working in the education of others, either separately or
in group.

Solution: Expected value is recognized for the discrete possibility variable by utilize the formula,
E(x) = sum xi P (xi) E(x) = 0 (1/13) + 1 (1/13) + 2 (1/13) + 3(1/13) + 4(1/13) E(x) = 0 + 0.0769 +
0.1538 + 0.2307 + 0.3076 E(x) = 0.769 The Expected value is: 0.769
Expected value of sample information tutor Example 2:
2) Evaluate the expected value to the discrete chance variable 1/6 from 2 to 7.
Solution:
The formula for finding the expected value for a discrete chance variable is E(x) = sum xi P (xi)
Here, i = 2 to 7 E(x) = 2 (1/6) + 3 (1/6) + 4(1/6) + 5(1/6) + 6(1/6) + 7(1/6) = 0.3333 + 0.5 + 0.6666 +
0.8333 + 1 + 1.1666 = 4.4998 Answer value is: 4.4998
