Part I

1. My desired degree is in Computer Science


2. I plan to take this many classes per term 5. It should take me 8 terms to finish my degree.
3. I am looking forward to these classes: Object Oriented Programming and Artificial
Intelligence. The reason is nothing but my extreme curiosity about these classes. I will
learn a lot of new things which will help me in the future.
4. I am a little nervous or concerned about these classes: Calculus and Discrete Structures.
The reason is that I don’t know how I will be able to perform calculations on the
computer and how I will be able to do assignments and other tasks. But still, I hope to do
as best as I can.

Part II
The skills I have mastered are active listening, active learning, decision-making, analyzing, and
critical thinking.

Active listening and active learning skills, these two are overlapping with each at many
occasions. Listening helps me to understand the message or an idea and learning helps me to
learn it in a better way. With the help of these two skills, I become a good learner which is very
beneficial for my career. On the other hand, decision-making gives me authority and a sense of
responsibility to make decisions either quick or delayed. It helps me in every part of my life.
Analyzing helps me to find something new out of raw conditions in life and it is very useful for
me. Critical thinking helps me to think about any matter more critically and about it with
different perspectives which is very useful for me.

The skills I have to master in the future are public speaking, writing, reading, teamwork, and
negotiating.

Public speaking is an important skill for life and I really need to get better and better with it as
per the requirement of my career. It is useful in every part of life. Reading and writing are
mandatory skills of a student and need to be improved. These skills are the backbone of every
career. I also need to work to improve my team working skills because when I will start my
career then I need to understand how to work in a team and what are the values of working for
the same goal as a team. The last skill I need to improve is negotiating. It is a skill that is needed
to keep a better profit at a business or even in personal life. We deal with people in everyday life
as a man is a social animal. We live in societies and we need basic skills for that certain purpose.
