Introduction
Letter writing is an essential skill. Despite the prevalence of emails and text messages, everyone has to
write letters at some point. Letters of complaint, job applications, thank you letters, letters requesting
changes or making suggestions — the list goes on and on. Encouraging children to write letters from an
early age will improve their communication, social and handwriting skills, and teach them what they
need to know about writing and structuring letters.
Team conflicts arise when there are disagreements over the goals, methods or needs of the team.
Conflicts can also occur when there are differing personalities. At first, these conflicts may seem
commonplace, but failing to resolve them could hurt productivity and overall morale. When conflicts
between team members arise, addressing these disagreements and coming to a mutual understanding
allows everyone to collaborate harmoniously and productively.
Conflict resolution is a valuable leadership skill to have. Individuals with the ability to recognize conflicts,
acknowledge differences and find quick and peaceful resolutions are essential to any organization.
Conflict resolution is important for the success of any team. Leaving a conflict unresolved can negatively
impact morale and productivity, resulting in a tense and uncomfortable work environment for all.
Resolving conflicts in the workplace allows teams to trust each other and work better together to
achieve their goals. Conflict resolution allows team members to understand each other better and
create smoother working relationships in the future.

Dear Sir / Madam
CONCERNS BY JUNIOR EMPLOYEES OVER NEW LATE-COMING POLICY
I am writing on behalf of several junior employees who have expressed concerns over the new late-
coming policy to deduct 30 minutes off their shift pay for being late by over 5 minutes. Of course, all
these employees have financial obligations that they must meet on a regular basis, therefore they count
on getting paid the full amount for the shifts they have worked.
The introduction of the new policy has caused a great deal of frustration, and I fear that employee
morale is suffering. The employees have come forward with a point that the reasons lack of official times
is that they sometimes work late evenings without being paid.
It would be very helpful if the policy of paying the employees for overtime worked could be
implemented, and this could maybe allay the problems that the employees have. I wonder if, in
addition, it might be possible to give incentives to those employees that have a good record of coming
early to work, to encourage all the employees to report early for work.
The group was assured that swift response to their concerns. I'll let them know what to expect as soon
as I hear from you. Thank you for your consideration.
Yours Sincerely,
Sarina Ubisi

MEMORANDUM FINNESSE ACCOUNTING
To: All employees
From: Andre Jean Claude
Date: 24 October 2023
Subject: Workshops on environmental sensitivity in the wake of recent
water crisis
You are cordially invited to attend workshops across Cape Town on environmental sensitivity in
the wake of recent water crisis. The guest speaker has extensive experience on the podium with
over 25 years in the industry. He graduated at the University of South Africa as a writer, and he
has since written over 10 articles about environmental sensitivity. The knowledge that he has
will be of paramount importance in bettering the water crisis that we are faced with.
Engaging in these workshops will help alleviate the water crisis that the cite is facing and the
knowledge that one acquires from the workshops will not only help the city’s problems, but it is
also a personal gain to the individual. Think about how the growth of one can contribute to the
city and also the company at large.
Humans both affect and are affected by nature because they consume natural resources as if they
were limitless. This interaction causes numerous environmental issues. The concept of climate
change has risen to the top of the global agenda. This is especially true with the increase in
greenhouse gases accumulating in the atmosphere. We need to help people develop habits early
to make them eco-friendly individuals. In this context, we need to turn undergraduates into eco-
friendly people because they are responsible for supporting children’s development. We must
associate environmental awareness with global climate change and offer related
recommendations.
Thank you for taking the time to review this analysis. Please feel free to send any questions,
concerns, and suggestions on how to make the training drive more enjoyable you have to me at
[email protected].

Conclusion
Learning to write letters is an essential skill for us. Despite the ease of email and texting, writing letters is
something more personal to those around us and more professional to those in our business or school
life. When we encourage our kids to write letters, we inevitably help them with their communication
skills, handwriting, and social skills for years to come.
Self-Assessment and Self Reflective
Today, in some form or another, you are required to put in writing your feelings or the information you
have. This is especially true in the job market. For instance, if you’d like to apply for a certain job as a
student or a recent graduate, you might be required to write an application formal letter. Aside from job
applications, communicating with your colleagues and superiors would require you to write emails,
which require good writing skills. This module has taught me how to formally write which I believe it will
help me in the outside world.
