1) Overview
IndusDirect - IndusInd Bank’s Corporate Mobile Banking App is a comprehensive Mobile App that
complements the Corporate Internet Banking Channels IndusDirect and Connect Online. Customers can view their
balances, operate their accounts from their Mobile, any time at any place as per their convenience. The App is
available for Android (Version 8.1 & above) and iOS devices (Version 12 & above).

This manual outlines the features of the Mobile Banking App. The services encompass Account Services,
Payment Services as well as Trade Services.

2) User Registration
All users who have access to IndusDIrect or Connect Online, IndusInd’s Corporate Internet Banking
services can download and register on IndusDirect Mobile Application, our Corporate Mobile Banking
App. All registered users of Corporate Internet Banking Channels (IndusDirect / Connect Online) can
download the App from AppStore/PlayStore. The user registration process works as below:

1. User to download the App from AppStore/PlayStore


2. User to accept the terms & conditions
3. User to provide the Corporate Internet Banking Login credentials (Domain ID, User Id &
Password)
4. Subject to successful validation of the login credentials, user will be prompted a 6 digit OTP for
authentication
5. On successful authentication, user will be prompted to create a 6 digit MPIN & confirm the
same.
6. On successful confirmation, User will be registered on the Mobile App successfully.
7. User cannot login in multiple device/handsets
8. For Android devices, User will be prompted to register Biometric subject to user preference. If
user registers Biometric, then at the time of authorization, user may opt for MPIN + OTP or
Biometric + OTP. Login will always be with MPIN only.

1. What is Mobile Number Verification?

Mobile Number Verification is a security process used to confirm that the mobile number provided by
the user is valid, active, and registered with the bank. It helps ensure that only authorized users gain
access to the IndusDIRECT Corporate Mobile Application.

2. What is SIM Binding?

SIM Binding is a security measure that links a specific SIM card (or eSIM) to your user ID, mobile app,
and device. It prevents unauthorized access from other devices or numbers.

3. Why is Mobile Number Verification important?

This enhanced security confirms the user’s identity, Ensures only authorized users can access sensitive
business and financial data, Prevents misuse by verifying the presence of the registered mobile number
in the device.

4. What do I need to complete Mobile Number Verification?

Your registered mobile number must be active, your device must have the SIM or eSIM of the registered
mobile number present. Permissions must be granted to the app to access phone functions like SMS and
calls. Ensure sufficient prepaid balance or postpaid limit is available for the verification SMS to be sent.

5. How does this work for eSIM users?

For Android Devices:

The eSIM with the registered mobile number must be active and present in the device.

Mobile permissions for SMS and calls must be enabled for the app.

If dual SIMs (eSIM + physical SIM) are present, ensure that the mobile number registered with the bank
is selected.

For iOS Devices:

The eSIM with the registered number must be active.

During verification, you may need to manually press 'Send' in the message window.

6. Will the app send an SMS automatically?

Yes, For Android the app will automatically send an SMS from your device to verify your number. On iOS,
you may be prompted to manually tap ‘Send’ to complete the verification.

7. Can I access the app from a tablet or iPad?

Yes, but only if the device supports SIM/eSIM functionality. Wi-Fi-only devices will not work after this
verification feature is introduced.

8. What happens if I don’t verify my number?

You will not be able to access the IndusDIRECT Corporate Mobile App until your number is successfully
verified.

9. Do I need to do this verification every time I log in?

No. Once your mobile number is verified and SIM (or eSIM) is successfully bound to your user ID and
device, repeat verification is not required unless you:

i. Change your device


ii. Reinstall the app
iii. Replace/switch your SIM or eSIM
iv. SIM card is changed from one SIM slot to the other

10. I have an international number which is registered with bank. Will Number Verification work?

Yes, Users mobile number registered with bank be it Indian or international will be able to login.

3) Account Services
In Account Services, the users can avail the following services:

• Mini Statement for Accounts Registered on Corporate Internet Banking


• Account Statement Download (PDF Format)
• Account Statement Email Request
• Interest Certificate Download for FD & Savings Accounts
• Stock Statement Submission
• Portfolio Overview of all Accounts held CIF (Customer) Level

A. Mini Statement:

The Accounts Registered on the Corporate Internet Banking will be available in the Accounts Tab of the
Mobile App.

From this menu, user can

• View the real time balances


• Click on the Account to view Mini Statement
• Filter and search for records for specific period

B. Account Statement Download & Email:

All Accounts under the Customer ID will be available for generation of Account Statements in PDF
Format. All users can download the statements on the App. The request for initiation of email Account
Statement is limited to Authorized Signatories only as the offline email statement will be delivered to
the preferred email id maintained against the Customer in the CRM Application.

All Accounts irrespective of the nature of account will be available here. For enhanced performance we
recommend users to download statements for one month at a time (except in case of accounts where
the volume of transactions are very high).

C. Interest Certificate:

Users can download the Interest Certificate for FD & Savings Account for the previous 5 Financial Year
from the Mobile App. The data is subject to the interest calculations done in Finacle. User can download
the PDF Certificate from the App. The file on successful download will be available in the download
folder for Android and Files in iOS.

D. Stock Statement Submission

Customers who avail credit facility from the Bank and submit periodic stock statements can now do it
from the IndusDirect Corporate Mobile Banking App. Only the authorisers will have the right to upload
the Stock Statements under Services. Customer users can upload jpg, pdf files of size upto 5 MB. The
status of last 10 Stock Statement Submissions can be looked up via Stock Statement History.

E. Portfolio Overview

In this option, customer user can view all the Accounts maintained by customer with the Bank under the
Customer ID along with the real time balances.

This is an overview of the customer’s relationship with the Bank across products.

4) Payment Services
In Payment Services, the users can avail the following services:
a. Beneficiary Registration
i. Individual Beneficiary Registration/Modification
ii. File Upload for Beneficiary Registration (up to 50 beneficiaries recommended)
iii. Authorize / Reject Beneficiary (Manual or File Upload)
b. Payment Initiation/Authorization:
i. Initiate Payment to Registered Beneficiaries
ii. Where customer has opted for exemption without Beneficiary Registration (subject
to Indemnity & Approvals), payment to non-registered beneficiaries
iii. Authorize / Reject Manual Payment / File Upload

Beneficiary Creation & Modification

The registered user, can create a beneficiary or modify the beneficiary. The App will notify the user of all
mandatory fields. For beneficiaries maintaining account with IndusInd Bank, the App will do a real time
validation of beneficiary Account Number (Only for Manual Creation).
The user can search the beneficiary with beneficiary code or beneficiary name to view the details of the
beneficiary and if required modify the same.

Beneficiary File Upload

The registered user, can upload the beneficiary master via an excel file. Please note the actual validation
of the file will be done only after authorization by authorizer.

Beneficiary Authorization:

Authorizers can authorize or reject the beneficiaries created manually or the beneficiary file upload. For
the file upload, the file content will be visible only on the portal. The mobile app will reflect the file that
is pending for authorization. On successful authorization, the users can view the details of beneficiaries
that are added successfully or failed in the Beneficiary Inquiry>>File Inquiry.

Payment Initiation

The users who have the transaction initiation rights, can now initiate payment via the Mobile App. The
user can select the product type, debit account, beneficiary code and provide payment details like
Amount and Customer Reference number. For Internal Funds Transfers, RTGS and NEFT Payments,
future dated transactions can be initiated. User can search the beneficiary basis the Code or Beneficiary
Name.

One Time Payment is an option available ONLY for Domains where beneficiary registration is not
mandatory.

Payment Authorization:

The authorizers as per the Board Resolution and setup on the Corporate Internet Banking channels can
authorize the payments (both individual payments as well as file upload) on the Mobile App. Authorizers
can approve or reject the payments. In case of file upload, authorizers can choose to authorize select
payments from within the file upload.

The authorizer can view the detail of payment like Beneficiary Name, Beneficiary Code, Product Type,
Amount and reference number at the time of authorization or rejection.

5) Inquiry

There are multiple inquiries and search features available for the users to be control of the transaction.

1. Payment Inquiry
• Inquire the status of any payment by providing Customer Reference Number or
UTR No and Value Date
2. Payment History:
• Inquire the status of last 10 individual payments
• Inquire the status of last 10 file uploads
3. Beneficiary Inquiry:
• Inquire the status of beneficiary using Beneficiary Name or Beneficiary Code
• Inquire the status of beneficiary file upload with file name & Date.

A. Payment Related Inquiry

In Payment Inquiry, the users can view the status of the payment by using search criteria like UTR No or
Customer Reference and the transaction dates.

In Payment History, the users can view the status of last 10 authorized individual payments and file
uploads.

B. Beneficiary Inquiry:

In Beneficiary Inquiry, users can search for beneficiaries using Beneficiary Code or Beneficiary Name.
Similarly they can view the status of the Beneficiary File Uploaded on a given date with the file name

6) Report Fraudulent Transaction
User can report fraud transaction from IndusDirect mobile app. User with checker rights can report
fraud transaction and can also check the status of the request raised. To report the transaction user
needs to visit service menu > click on report fraudulent transaction and enter required mandatory
details and submit. After submitting the details, status of the resolution can be viewed in Track Request
menu under service.

Important Note : User account will be blocked if user reports fraudulent transaction, until investigation
is completed.

7) Statutory Pay
Under statutory pay user will have an option of Initiate and Enquiry if type is Maker and Authorize and
Enquiry if user type is checker and Initiate, Authorize and Enquiry if User type is Maker = Checker.

Under initiate user can initiate CBDT NEFT/RTGS payment from IndusDirect Mobile application

Under authorization user can authorize all tax (CBDT/GST) related transaction from IndusDirect Mobile
application

Under Enquiry user can view transaction status of all tax related transaction from IndusDirec Mobile
application

A Statutory Pay – Initiate

The users who have the transaction initiation rights, can now initiate CBDT NEFT/RTGS payment via the
Mobile App. The user needs to accept terms and conditions, debit account and provide payment details
like Amount and Customer Reference number. Payment type, Beneficiary Name and IFSC Code will be by
default mentioned.

B Statutory Pay – Authorization Pending

The authorizers as per the Board Resolution and setup on the Corporate Internet Banking channels can
authorize the payments on the Mobile App. Authorizers can approve or reject the payments pertaining
to TAX NEFT/RTGS or Agency Banking transactions

The authorizer can view the detail of payment like Beneficiary Name, Beneficiary Code, Product Type,
Amount, detail break up (For CBDT Agency Banking transactions) and reference number at the time of
authorization or rejection.

C Statutory Pay – Enquiry

Inquire the status of any TAX payment by providing Customer Reference Number or Date Range

8) FD Booking
For single user entities i.e. entities where Maker and Checker are same users, we enable the booking of
Fixed Deposits online. Users can book individual deposits of value upto INR 5,00,00,000.00 (Rs. Five
Crores Only per deposit) online.

Deposits greater than INR 1,00,00,000 (Rupees One Crore), the customer will have the ability to opt for
Redeemable or Non Redeemable. Please note Financial Institution clients can only book Non
Redeemable deposits.

9) Settings

Settings option can be used by users to do the following:

• View User details


• Configure or Remove Biometric (on Android device)
• Reset MPIN
• View Terms & Conditions

10) Other Security Features


Key Security Features:
Device Binding: Client’s user ID is securely bound to just one device, reducing the risk of
unauthorized access.
One Device Registration: Client can register only one device at a time, ensuring additional
protection.
Secure Login: Log in with a 6-digit MPIN, which you need to update every 90 days for security.
Transaction Authorization: MPIN or fingerprint and One-Time Password (OTP) is required for any
transaction.
Advanced Security:
Real-Time Threat Monitoring: The app constantly checks for suspicious activities to secure any
activity of client.
Screen Protection: The app blocks screen sharing or mirroring to keep your information private.
Device Safety Check: If your device is jailbroken or rooted (modified), access is blocked to prevent
security risks.
Malware and Network Protection: The app guards against harmful software and unsafe Wi-Fi
connections.

11) Summary
