DAY-4

What type of a singer is he?

Or
What type of singer is he?

Between these two:

❌ "What type of a singer is he?"

✅ "What type of singer is he?"

The second one is correct.

🧠 Why?

After "type of", we do not use "a" before a singular noun.

"Type of" already implies a category or kind, so adding "a" is unnecessary and ungrammatical.

✅ Correct Examples:

"What type of singer is he?"

"What kind of person is she?"

"What sort of movie do you like?"
