A: “Happiness is not something readymade. It comes
from your actions” –Dalai Lama
Good Morning, respected teachers and dear students. I’m
Aviral, your host from class 8-B…
M: … and I’m Manya. We’re excited to welcome you all to
class 8B’s assembly for the day in Happiness.
A: Now, Let’s begin this assembly with hopes high &
spirits soaring. I invite everyone to join their hands, bow
their heads and close their eyes for the Morning Prayer.
-PRAYER-
M: I would request everyone to be seated at their
respective places. To start this assembly, we have a
wonderful skit performance by the students of the class
that will show us how happiness is present even in the
simplest of moments. Over to narrators, Charvi and
Kavya.
-SKIT PERFORMANCE-
A: That was an amazing performance. It’s so true – the
more we chase materialistic things, the farther we get
away from real happiness.
Kindness, love and laughter are what really fill our heart.
M: Now, to continue with our assembly, let’s welcome
Aarohi Verma to show us the importance of happiness
through a beautiful poem.
-POEM-
A: That was so beautifully depicted! Happiness is not
just an emotion but a vital part of our well-being. It has
the power to uplift us, bring people together, and create
a positive effect on our surroundings.
M: And now, to lift our spirits even more, we have a
song performance by the students, reminding us how
happiness is something we can spread with every note
and every smile.
-SONG-
M: That performance was absolutely heartwarming!
Wasn’t it?
A: Indeed! Now, let’s move on to a vibrant dance
performance by Kavya, Aaradhya, Stuti and Shrishti of
our class!
-DANCE-
A: Such an energetic performance! Thank You for that
burst of joy and energy – it was amazingly refreshing!
M: Happiness doesn’t have to be grand or complicated.
It’s often found in small, everyday moments of kindness,
connection and joy.
A: And with that, we conclude today’s assembly. And
now let’s make a promise – to be the reason someone
smiles today. Wishing all of you a very peaceful and
productive day ahead!
M: Now, I would request Anuradha ma’am to say a few
words and give her views on the assembly.
All of you please rise at your places for the NATIONAL
ANTHEM.
