IB MYP Coordinator Checklist !

1. Curriculum Planning & Vertical Articulation


📘 Ensure subject-group overviews are up-to-date (Years 1–5)
✅ Confirm that every subject has a full set of unit plans uploaded (ManageBac or other
platform)
🔁 Review for horizontal and vertical alignment: concepts, skills, and global contexts
🧩 Ensure interdisciplinary units (IDUs) are planned (minimum one per year group)

2. Personal Project Planning (Year 5)


📅 Create a timeline for the Personal Project, with key checkpoints
🧑‍🏫Assign supervisors and run an orientation session
📁 Share clear guidelines, criteria, and exemplars with students
📊 Set up a system for progress monitoring and academic integrity

3. Assessment & Moderation


📚 Ensure all teachers use MYP assessment criteria for their subject groups
📈 Create a calendar for standardization/moderation sessions
🧮 Review school-wide practices for formative/summative balance
🗂️ Prepare teachers for eAssessment and/or MYP moderation (if applicable)

4. Approaches to Learning (ATL) Coordination
