PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT TIME: 6 HOURS

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATE

1. You have SIX (6) hours to carry out the task below.

No. Nails to show the width of the trench and

the foundation wall for all the 4 corners

(Award 1 mark for each corner correctly done)

8. Run the builder’s line between opposite 4


profile boards to mark the 4 trench widths

(Award 1 mark or zero for each trench width)

9. Checked the right angles - 90o angles (Award 2

2 marks or zero)

10. Trench width outline marked with dry 1
