Your child’s teacher has sent this handy guide home so they can complete this writing activity.

Young Writers invites you to go on a story-telling adventure with The Magic Map. Write a mini
saga (a story in up to 100 words) about any time, any place, real or imaginary! You can let your
imagination go wild as you write a story about whatever you like! Will you explore dreamlands,
write about a historical event or imagine what the future will be? Perhaps you’ll write a real-life
story. Whatever you choose, we can’t wait to read it!
