Mission: QA Test Manager with execution and coordination activities.
Challenges: We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong background in the
banking industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and
executing comprehensive test strategies, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and
collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development:
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies that align with project goals and
timelines.
2. Test Plan Execution:
• Execute manual and automated test plans, including functional, integration, system, and
regression testing, to identify and document software defects.
3. Quality Standards Enforcement:
• Ensure compliance with established quality standards and guidelines throughout the
software development lifecycle.
4. Bug Tracking and Reporting:
• Utilize bug tracking tools to document issues, prioritize bug fixes with development
teams, and track resolution progress.
5. Test Automation:
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks to enhance
testing efficiency.
6. Process Improvement:
• Continuously assess and improve testing processes and practices for better efficiency
and effectiveness.
7. Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand features and technical
implementations, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
8. Reporting:
• Provide regular status reports to the QA Team Lead, Release management and Project
management on the testing progress
• Provide KPIs on the testing progress
9. Business and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including developers and project
management and business stakeholders, to align on quality objectives.
• Define with business teams the UAT (user acceptance strategy) test plan and business
acceptance criteria
10. Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all testing activities comply with banking regulations and standards for security
and data privacy.
11. Data Validation:
• Execute database scripts and queries to validate data integrity and ensure alignment with
requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the banking sector, with a strong
understanding of banking operations, regulations, and digital transformation trends,
particularly in Wealth Management and trading activities.
• Database Skills: Proficient in SQL and database scripting for data validation and back-
end testing.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium) and
familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is preferred.
• Analytical Tools: Proficient in using analytics and reporting tools to derive insights from
test results.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments, with
knowledge of Scrum and Kanban principles.
• Security Testing: Understanding of security testing best practices and relevant banking
regulations is a plus.
• Defect Tracking Tools: Experience with JIRA and JIRA-XRay is essential.
• Experienced with Murex
