ACIC-VGU Student Entrepreneurship

Event Execution Guide

This guide provides detailed execution plans for 10 small-scale entrepreneurship and
business mindset activities at ACIC-VGU. Each activity is designed for 10 students, run as
independent events, and supported by volunteers. The document includes manpower
roles, execution timelines, facilitation steps, required materials, and pre/post-event tasks.
■100 Startup Challenge
Manpower: 3 volunteers (facilitator, timekeeper, note-taker)
Duration: 2–3 hours
■ Pre-Event: Print business model sheets, arrange pens/paper/timer, brief 3 volunteers.
■ During: Intro, team formation, brainstorming, pitch prep, 5-min pitches.
■ Post-Event: Collect sheets, record scores, group photos, feedback.
Mock Shark Tank
Manpower: 4 volunteers (setup, jury support, timer, notes)
Duration: 2 hours
■ Pre-Event: Arrange projector, print jury scorecards, select judges, allocate 4 volunteers.
■ During: Pitches (3 min + 2 min Q&A;), timekeeping, notes, feedback.
■ Post-Event: Collect decks/scorecards, announce winners, recap note.
Sell Me This Pen – Roleplay
Manpower: 2 volunteers (item distribution, recording)
Duration: 1 hour
■ Pre-Event: Collect random items, print sales rubric, 2 volunteers.
■ During: Explain rules, distribute items, 1-min pitches, record videos.
■ Post-Event: Voting/judging, upload clips, prepare winner certificate.
Business Model Canvas Sprint
Manpower: 3 volunteers (BMC guide, material handler, display setup)
Duration: 1.5 hours
■ Pre-Event: Print BMC templates, markers, sticky notes, 3 volunteers.
■ During: Intro (15 min), teams fill templates, display & walkaround.
■ Post-Event: Photograph canvases, collect feedback, archive canvases.
Reverse Pitch
Manpower: 3 volunteers (distribution, notes, judging support)
Duration: 2 hours
■ Pre-Event: Collect problems, print statements, 3 volunteers.
■ During: Present problems, brainstorm, 3-min pitches, collect sheets.
■ Post-Event: Summarize top 3 solutions, photos, feedback.
Idea Speed-Dating
Manpower: 3 volunteers (rotation manager, scorer, photographer)
Duration: 1.5 hours
■ Pre-Event: Print scorecards, arrange chairs, 3 volunteers.
■ During: Students rotate every 2 min, collect scorecards, tally ratings.
■ Post-Event: Share top ideas, group picture, archive scorecards.
Campus CEO Simulation
Manpower: 4 volunteers (role allocation, tracking, reporting, wrap-up)
Duration: 2 hours (or 1 day for full simulation)
■ Pre-Event: Decide mock task, print role cards, 4 volunteers.
■ During: Assign roles, teams plan/run simulation, report outcomes.
■ Post-Event: Collect reports, photos, reflection summary.
Elevator Pitch Challenge
Manpower: 2 volunteers (timer, recorder)
Duration: 1 hour
■ Pre-Event: Print rubrics, stopwatch/bell, 2 volunteers.
■ During: 30-sec pitches, volunteers time & record.
■ Post-Event: Collect scores, share clips, announce winners.
Innovation Game Night
Manpower: 3 volunteers (quizmaster, scorer, photographer)
Duration: 1.5 hours
■ Pre-Event: Prepare game materials, print sheets, prizes, 3 volunteers.
■ During: Play 2–3 games, score, announce winners.
■ Post-Event: Certificates, group photos, social highlights.
Fail-Forward Story Circle
Manpower: 2 volunteers (moderator, note-taker)
Duration: 1.5 hours
■ Pre-Event: Invite seniors/alumni, print playbook sheets, 2 volunteers.
■ During: Icebreaker, failure stories, group reflections.
■ Post-Event: Collect notes for playbook, photos, best quotes.
