 HDD/SSD

 Graphics Card (if used)

 Optical Drive (optional)

 Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor

Tools

 Screwdrivers

 Anti-static wrist strap

 Thermal paste

 Cable ties

 Diagnostic tools (multimeter)

4. Theory and Background

A. PC Components Overview

 Motherboard: Central communication hub for all components.

 CPU: Executes instructions and manages operations.

 RAM: Temporarily stores data for quick access.

 Storage Devices: Retain data and OS files permanently.

 PSU: Distributes electrical power to components.

 Graphics Card: Manages graphical output.

 Optical Drive & Peripherals: Facilitate I/O operations.

B. Assembling Process

Proper assembly requires understanding part orientation, connector types, and safe handling. Components
must be correctly installed to ensure a working system.

5. Procedure

Step 1: Prepare a static-free workspace. Wear an anti-static strap.

Step 2: Mount PSU and connect power cables.
Step 3: Secure motherboard in case and align I/O ports.
Step 4: Install CPU and cooler with thermal paste.
Step 5: Insert RAM modules.
Step 6: Mount and connect storage devices.
Step 7: Install graphics card (if applicable).
Step 8: Connect peripherals.
Step 9: Organize cables for proper airflow.

6. Results and Analysis

 Initial Power Test: System turned on and BIOS displayed.

 Component Recognition: BIOS detected CPU, RAM, storage, and GPU.

 Functional Check: No issues found; all components operational.

7. Conclusion
