A boy named Rami grew up in a poor town.
His father worked hard but passed away
suddenly when Rami was twelve. His mother fell ill soon after, and Rami dropped out of
school to work at a mechanic’s shop. He wanted to study, but every rupee went to medicine.
At sixteen, his mother died. Rami buried her alone. He stood by the grave with no money, no
family, no friends left. At night, he returned to their small, empty house. Only silence and
dust greeted him.
Years passed. Rami became skilled at fixing engines but never fulfilled his dream of
studying. Sometimes, he sat by the window, watching children in uniforms rushing to school.
He whispered, “That could have been me.”
He lived his life repairing machines, but his heart stayed broken—stuck in the moment he lost
everything.
