I. Rationale

In line with the celebration of the School Intramurals 2025–2026, the Search for Little Mr. and Ms.
Intramurals aim to showcase the talents, wit, confidence, and sportsmanship of our pupils. This event
does not only promote camaraderie and school spirit but also serves as an avenue for our young
learners to develop self-confidence, appreciation of sports and arts, and holistic growth in line with
the objectives of the Matatag Curriculum

This friendly competition also highlights the importance of physical fitness, creativity, and values
formation among our pupils, making it an essential part of our intramural’s celebration.

II. Objectives

Specifically, the event seeks to:

1. Develop the confidence, sportsmanship, and stage presence of pupils through friendly
competition.

2. Provide an avenue to showcase talents, creativity, and personality.

3. Strengthen school spirit and camaraderie among different grade levels.

4. Recognize and award exemplary pupils who embody the qualities of a well-rounded learner.

III. Participants

The search is open to selected pupils from Grades 1–3 (for Little Mr. and Ms. Intramurals), Grade s 4-6
(for Mr. and Ms. Intramurals), representing their respective sections or grade levels.

2. Talent Presentation – 30%
3. Popularity (through buying of chips) – 20%
4. Stage Presence & Personality – 20%

V. Mechanics of the Event

1. Each participating grade level shall select one male and one female representative.

2. Participants shall prepare:

o A short introduction of themselves.

o A sports-inspired attire to represent the spirit of the intramurals.

o A talent presentation not exceeding 3 minutes.

o A Q&A portion to test wit, confidence, and communication skills.

3. Winners shall be proclaimed as:

o Little Mr. Intramurals 2025–2026

o Little Ms. Intramurals 2025–2026

o With special awards such as Best in Production, Best in Costume, and Best in Stage
Presence, Mr. and Ms. Popular

VI. Awards & Recognition

• Certificates and sashes will be awarded to winners and participants.

• Tokens or simple prizes may be given to the winners, subject to school funds or sponsorship(
SPG FUNDS).

VIII. Expected Outcome/ TIMELINE

At the end of the program, participants will have gained meaningful experiences that foster their
confidence, talents, and teamwork. The event will also serve as a memorable highlight of the
school’s intramurals celebration, bringing joy and inspiration to the school community.

Morning Program

7:00 – 7:30 AM – Assembly & Gathering of Participants, Guests, and Audience

• Candidates gather at the venue with their coaches/guardians.

• Audience and teachers take their seats.

7:30 – 8:00 AM – Opening Program

• Invocation

• National Anthem

• Welcome Remarks (School Head / Event Coordinator)

• Introduction of Judges

8:00 – 8:45 AM – Sports Attire / Costume Parade & Presentation

• Candidates present their sports attire on stage.

8:45 – 9:45 AM – Production Presentation

• Each candidate performs their production dance (2–3 minutes each).

9:45 – 10:15 AM – Question and Answer Portion

• Candidates answer age-appropriate questions to showcase confidence and wit.

10:15 – 10:30 AM – Tabulation of Scores

• Intermission number (optional: dance/singing performance by selected students).

10:30 – 11:00 AM – Awarding & Coronation

• Announcement of Minor Awards (Best in Sports Attire, Best in Talent, Most Popular, Best in
Stage Presence).

• Coronation of Little Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2025–2026.

• Closing Message.

11:00 – 12:00 NN – Lunch Break

Afternoon Program – Laro ng Lahi

12:00 noon – Assembly at the School Grounds

• Grouping of participants (by grade level or team color).


– Traditional Filipino Games (Laro ng Lahi)
Suggested Games:

1. Sack Race (Karera ng Sako) – relay style.

2. Tumbang Preso – group competition.

3. Palo Sebo (modified version for safety, if allowed).

4. Piko / Chinese Garter – per grade level.

5. Holen or Luksong Tinik / Luksong Lubid – fun round games.
