Objective
• By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
• - Identify ordinal numbers from 1st to 10th
• - Use ordinal numbers to describe positions
What are Ordinal Numbers?
• Ordinal numbers tell the position of someone
or something in a line or order.
• Example: 1st = First, 2nd = Second, 3rd = Third
Ordinal Numbers List
• 1st - First
• 2nd - Second
• 3rd - Third
• 4th - Fourth
• 5th - Fifth
• 6th - Sixth
• 7th - Seventh
• 8th - Eighth
• 9th - Ninth
Example: Who is 1st?
• Show a picture of a line of animals or
students.
• Ask: Who is in the 1st place? Who is in the 5th
place?
Drag-and-Drop Game
• Instruction: Match the animal with the correct
position.
• Example: Monkey – 3rd, Dog – 1st, etc.
