ng kinakaharap namin na
pandemya.
Salamat po sa pag-gabay sa
amin
at sa aming mga mahal sa
buhay.
Patuloy po ninyo kaming
ingatan
ganun din ang aming
pamilya.
Iligtas po ninyo sa
kapahamakan
ang aming mga kamag-aral
at guro.
Gabayan po ninyo ang
aming mga isipan
upang maunawaan ng lubos
ang aming mga aralin.
Dalangin po namin na
malampasan ang mga
pagsubok na ito.

•Have a drill on identifying points, line
segments, rays, and lines using flash cards
with geometric figures. After the activity,
ask pupils to give a representation of
points, line segments, rays, and lines. Also
provide exercises on naming points, lines,
line segments, and rays.
Game – “What Am I?”

a. I have an exact location in space. I am represented by a dot.

b. I have an endpoint and I can go on and on in

opposite directions.
c. I start out at a point and can be extended in
one direction.
d. I am a part of a line with 2 endpoints.

•Picture yourselves in front of the
flagpole forming lines for the flag
raising ceremony. How should you
form your lines?
Game – “Forming Lines”
Form different kinds of lines depending
on the instruction given.

a. All those whose birth month is June will

form 2 straight lines.
b. All those whoa are wearing T-shirts will
form 2 lines that meet at the center.
c. All those whose birth month is March
will form one line and another line for
those who were born in August. Then,
form 2 lines that show square corners.
You’ve just played “Forming Lines.”
the illustrations show the lines that
you formed.

• What can you say about the lines in Figure 1? Figure 2? Figure 3?
• What kind of lines are in Figure 1? Figure 2? Figure 3?
Group Activities: Work together in
illustrating the given figures to show
the different kinds of lines using
cutouts.

Group 1; crossroads
Group 2: time using hands of the clock
Group 3: Designs of a ceiling
Group 4: Design of a T-shirt (example: checkered, striped)
Group 5: Electric posts
Group 6: Window panes
After all the groups have finished, display your outputs on the board.
Tell something about the figures that you formed and what kind of lines
each figure shows.
•How did you find the activity?
•Who were you able to illustrate figure
given to you?
•Did you cooperate with your group
mates?
How many lines does each diagram
below have? Two lines can be related
to each other in different ways.

Can you name the different kinds of
lines shown above?

• Line A intersects with line C. they form intersecting lines.

• Line FG and line HI do not intersect. They do

not meet at any point. They are parallel lines.

• Line KL and line JM intersect in a special way of

forming square corners. They are perpendicular
lines.
Tell whether the following are parallel
lines, intersecting lines, or
perpendicular lines.
1. 2. 3.

4. 5.
Draw a star for parallel lines, a
diamond for intersecting lines, and a
