NiceJob Reviews & Product Details

We started using NiceJob primarily as a review platform, and in that respect it does what it promises: it helps drive reviews, which was our main reason for purchasing. For that purpose, it’s been solid.

Our team has also found value in their support team: very quick responses and very detailed, when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That said, there are a number of downsides we’ve experienced:

Landing Page SEO: The company site/landing page NiceJob creates for you doesn’t rank well. Even when searching something as direct as “our company reviews,” it often shows up on page 2 or 3 of Google and lower on the SERPs than other review platforms. There are simple SEO improvements they could implement, but they’re not there yet.

Referrals: One of the big selling points for us was the referral system, but it hasn’t generated results. Editing the automated conversations are limited.

Multi-location Challenges: If you’re running multiple locations, the platform gets clunky. Switching between locations isn’t smooth, and the “Stories” widget becomes unusable when tied to Facebook reviews. The same review gets duplicated across every location. There’s also no flexibility to choose how many reviews to display; you’re stuck with 15, which is overwhelming on mobile.

Lack of Export Options: You can’t export your reviews, which limits usability.

On-the-Ground Review Collection: Transitioning from an installer in the field to a customer leaving a review is awkward. The only suggested workaround is having every installer create their own NiceJob profile/app account and get trained, which isn’t practical at scale.

Overall, NiceJob is a decent solution if you only need a simple way to collect more reviews. But if you’re hoping to use the other features such as SEO benefits, referrals, or multi-location support, you may find it falls short. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I learned how important Google reviews are, but I wasn't consistently asking for reviews. NiceJob easily integrated with my CRM and automatically started asking my customers for Google reviews.

I know I can fo even more, but this was so easy and affordable and way better than what I was (wasn't) doing.

It helped me more than double my revenue in the year since I started. It also helped me dramatically lower my marketing costs because the reviews caused Google to send MANY more leads my way that value 5 star reviews.

I also have been able to raise my prices because the reviews help people who value great service find me. The Google algorithm seems to love consistent, 5 star, descriptive reviews and Nicejob is delivering those.

While NiceJob is effective for managing customer reviews, I find it limiting because it focuses exclusively on that aspect. I'd prefer a more versatile tool that also allows sending feedback forms, gifts, and referral packages to clients. We first started using NiceJob about 6 months after we first started this company and only had a handful of reviews come in. Since we started using NiceJob we have grown our reviews to 89 which is incredible for our first year in business. We are positive that we could not have done this without them. Especially Giovanni...he was able to help us through a bump in the road when we switched CRM platforms. Nothing I was doing was getting me connected to the platform with NiceJob but he literally swooped in and saved the day. From customer service to the actual platform itself you can't go wrong. NiceJob is easy to use and 100% automated with my customer base. I know for sure that review requests are being sent out every day and I know it's paying off! What I like best about NiceJob is the complete automation it offers. As soon as we send out an invoice through our existing system, PaintScout, NiceJob automatically starts requesting reviews from our clients. It's seamless, easy, and has saved us so much time compared to manually following up with each customer. Plus, we've seen an increase in the number of clients actually leaving reviews. It’s made the whole process effortless and highly effective!

On top of that, the ease of implementation was impressive. Within a few minutes of signing up, I received a call from a NiceJob representative who guided me through the entire setup process. They helped me get everything up and running quickly, and even provided widgets for our website with simple, clear instructions on how to add them. We were only getting 1 review a year before NiceJob. They were easy to work with, easy to set up & integrate with our software Jobtread. All we have to do is click a button and we are getting more reviews than ever. This has helped keep our website updated and it automatically posts on Facebook which has been increasing our views. It integrates very well with Jobber, which is the CRM I'm using right now, You can choose how you want to ask for reviews, either selected customers, or select all. Customer support has been outstanding, with the techs being very knowledgeable and friendly. Super easy to use, and inplement, not a huge learning curve like some software I have tried in the past.
