CNI - Passport

To apply for a national identity card, you need to make a pre-application online at https://ants.gouv.fr/.

All application instructions are by appointment only on monsainta.fr. Make sure you have all the documents you need (you can consult the list by clicking here).

GOOD TO KNOW:
In France, the validity of the national identity card has been extended from 10 to 15 years for adults.

In the event of loss or theft, you must purchase a €25 dematerialized tax stamp, which you can buy when you make your pre-application at https://ants.gouv.fr/ or from a tobacconist.

For all passport applications, a pre-application must be made at https://ants.gouv.fr/.
