If the “special mode” is what I think it is, it’s just a battery saving method that’s also used on the Steam Deck. With that, it requires being plugged in to turn on at all, otherwise it just remains in stasis. After it turns on, it operates normally.

The recommended adapter specs are most likely just for optimal charging, nothing to do with the stasis mode.

They’re not marketing to casual consumers anymore. Their new target is just data centers.

You might know this already, but some (all?) flatpaks are denied access to most drives in the system. I’ve used Flatseal to address that issue when it comes up, though there may be better ways.

While I agree that the idea of dramatic, instant societal collapse is unrealistic, this person’s idea of a fulfilling life is clearly pretty toxic. Since when is “hanging onto clothing” a major problem? Or a group/country/society working together? And why is their sole concern “the American man”? All sounds too similar to those that claim pointing out problems in a society is communist/“reverse racist”/misandrist.

I’ve never seen compression make an image look like that. I have seen lots of garbage upscaling/“enhancing” do exactly that. The blurry smoothing effect and full-on alterations are dead giveaways. Notice how his eyes fully go from blue to brown?
