[The action] never escalates into the grand, high-wire, socially subversive physical comedy we expect from Atkinson. Instead, we just get a nauseatingly schmaltzy and nonsensical dose of Christmas cheer helmed by a kind-hearted, capable man. Go to Full Review

With a small child involved, there is no room for the gleeful destruction of Man Vs Bee, only for a few weak gags about nappies and serious amounts of product placement. Go to Full Review

It may lack a few belly laughs, but it is thoroughly entertaining... Go to Full Review

The gags are entirely hung on Atkinson’s ineffable Atkinson-ness... Is he wasted on this? Well, yes. But when he can still contort his features in ways it’s impossible not to laugh at, it’s hard to begrudge more Atkinson. Go to Full Review

It’s never anything less than predictable, but Atkinson’s skill carries it. There are worse Netflix Christmas offerings you could be watching. Go to Full Review

Overall, Man Vs Baby is a simple, easy watch. Perfect for the Christmas season with its inherent warmness and comedic universality. Go to Full Review

@Vucko97 5h This bored me, I bought Netflix for this I don't like it in the slightest, I wasted my time watching this man VS bee is 10x better than this. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 5h Man vs Baby (2025) stars Mr. Bean as Trevor Bingsly in a short series that struggles to fully deliver on its comedic premise. The concept—a man navigating life with a mischievous baby—has potential, but the episodes feel drawn-out and repetitive. Mr. Bean’s physical comedy is present but underutilized, often stretched over slow sequences with predictable gags. The bulk of the action remains confined to the home, limiting dynamic scenarios, while the screenplay leans too heavily on minor pratfalls and lacks narrative depth or character growth. Direction emphasizes these flaws, lingering on unfunny incidents. Secondary characters contribute little, leaving the humor monotonous. Occasional glimpses of classic Mr. Bean silliness exist, but pacing and repetitive visual gags undermine engagement. Overall, the series is a missed opportunity; it could have benefited from tighter writing, varied situations, and better use of Bean’s comedic talents to make it genuinely entertaining. See more Flavio P @Flaviuz 7h Rowan is always amazing! A bit predictable but how he acts makes it very funny and enjoyable See more Ivan S @Seguya 10h I'm a fan of Atkinson, he never disappoints. I enjoyed it. See more Hnin Oo M @EmotionsAndMovies 14h The anxiety levels skyrocketed See more Vadim K 16h I love Rowan Atkinson and this show is hilarious. The only problem is that it looks like they made the baby using AI or something and it looks so bad. See more Read all reviews
