Who’s on FIRST dataBASE?

This project was interesting. I didn’t find it too difficult but it was a fun tool that I had no
idea was even available to me. It was fun to create the fake school voting form and
would love to see actual results from it.
As I was working on it I could imagine lots of ways to implement it into the school
setting and us it as a teacher, but also allow the students to be able to start using it as
well.

The ISTE National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS)*S that was
addressed in this project was #5; Students will use technology to locate, evaluate, and
collect information from a variety of sources.

This again could be used in the classroom for voting on lots of things. Voting on
classroom positions, jobs, etc. I could see this being done in the younger classes with
younger ages for sure.
Older students could create a form after reading a book and do it as a study guide.
They could come up with questions and then have T/F questions, or multiple choice
with only one right answer, etc. It would be a great way for them to help study and for
others as they looked over the form.
They could also create it for English with definitions and they have to choose the
correct definitions.
There are lots of options and ways that the forms could be used and manipulated for
the classroom.
