Note. This table summarizes the mean values for emotional support, physical interaction, social
interaction, and the overall mean across all parameters in the study on the effects of romantic
relationships.
The summary table, Table 2, offers a concise overview of the effects of romantic
relationships across various parameters. Each parameter, including emotional support, physical
interaction, social interaction, and the overall mean score, is accompanied by its corresponding
mean value. Notably, the mean values for all parameters indicate high performance levels, with
scores ranging from 4.04 to 4.312.
Considering Box 2, which provides a scale for interpreting academic performance, the
mean values from our study fall within the category of "Proficient." This classification suggests
that individuals perceive their romantic relationships to be highly satisfactory, with performance
levels reaching between 85% and 89%. This alignment between our study's results and the
proficiency level underscores the positive impact of romantic relationships on emotional support,
physical interaction, and social dynamics.
In relating our study to existing research, the findings reinforce the notion that robust
romantic relationships contribute significantly to overall well-being and interpersonal
satisfaction (Austen et al. 2021; De Guzman et al. 2023). Previous studies have consistently
highlighted the importance of emotional support, physical intimacy, and social connectedness
within romantic partnerships (Reese et al. 2019). Therefore, our study's results corroborate these
findings, indicating that individuals in romantic relationships experience high levels of
satisfaction across these domains, further emphasizing the significance of strong interpersonal
bonds in enhancing overall quality of life.
