ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
“Fostering Scientific Excellence: A Comprehensive Report on
Initiatives and Achievements as Science Coordinator”
This is the major accomplishments and activities undertaken by the Science
Department of Tigbauan National High School during the school year 2023-2024. It
highlights the initiatives, projects, and achievements that have contributed to the
enhancement of science education and the overall development of learners and faculty.
Curriculum Development and Implementation
Enhanced Science Activities and Instructional Innovation
Incorporated current scientific advancements and environmental issues into
the curriculum.
Developed specialized modules for STE Research learners, focusing on
practical applications and research methodologies.
Organized workshops for learners on the latest strategies and technological
tools in science education.
Student Engagement and Achievement
Learners join in the Science related competitions.
Guided students in preparing and presenting projects at local and regional
science fairs, resulting in several awards.
Organized and coached students for participation in science quiz bees and
scilympics, with notable wins at the division level.
Research and Projects
Supervised student research projects, encouraging participation in
investigatory projects and presentations.
Eco-Projects
Launched environmental projects such as school-based recycling programs
and community clean-up drives.
Equipment Upgrades
Secured funding for new laboratory equipment, including microscopes, lab
chemicals, and safety gear.
Expanded the collection of science textbooks, journals, and multimedia
resources in the school library.
Classroom Innovations
Introduced interactive tools such as digital simulations, educational software,
and online resources.
Established a dedicated equipped with modern learning aids and technology.
Community and Outreach Programs

The accomplishments of the Science Department at Tigbauan NHS for the school
year 2023 reflect our commitment to enhancing science education and fostering a

and the community have significantly contributed to these achievements. Moving
