3. The robbery occurred in front of Walter Mart Mall in Balanga City, Bataan,
around 2:00 AM.
4. The physical description provided by the victim, combined with evidence
and witness statements, will be key to identify the suspect that will
be led to their apprehension and possible prosecution.
III. FACTS OF THE CASE
5. On or about 2:00 AM on November 15, 2024, Mrs. Kathryn Bernardo y
Perez businesswoman and resident of 123 Ruby St., Brgy. Camacho,
Balanga City, Bataan, reported to the BHC Police Station that she was
robbed in front of Walter Mart Mall, Balanga City.

According to the victim, while waiting for a ride home, she was
approached by two male suspects. One suspect (described as wearing a white t-
shirt with a skull print, maong shorts, and a dark-colored bull cap) grabbed her
arm, while the other suspect (described as wearing a black t-shirt, khaki pants, and
a red scarf) pointed a black firearm at her. The armed suspect then snatched her
black shoulder bag, which contained her personal items: identification cards, cash
amounting to Php 10,000.00, and a Samsung cellphone valued at Php 70,000.00.
After the robbery, the suspects walked toward the direction of the Public Market
in Brgy. San Jose, Balanga City.
The victim proceeded to the nearest police station, where, about 30
minutes later, he returned with one of the suspects, later identified as Beth Logan
y Doyle aged 22, a resident of Brgy. Alasasin, Mariveles, Bataan.
IV. INVESTIGATION/FINDINGS
6. The suspect was in possession of:
1. A black 9mm caliber pistol without a serial number, with six live ammunitions.
2. The victim’s Samsung cellphone.
3. Php 5,000.00 in Php 500.00 bills.
Additionally, a plastic sachet containing suspected "SHABU" was found
in the suspect’s possession. The other suspect, whose identity remains unknown,
managed to flee the scene.
V. CONCLUSION
The robbery incident was confirmed by the victim and corroborated by the
recovery of stolen items from the apprehended suspect, Beth Logan y Doyle. He
was found in possession of the victim’s property, a firearm, and suspected

illegal drugs, indicating her involvement in both the robbery and drug-related
activities. A second suspect, although described, remains unidentified and at
large. The unregistered firearm recovered from Doyle is a significant concern,
highlighting the presence of illegal firearms in the area. Additionally, the
recovered "SHABU" adds a drug-related dimension to the case, necessitating
further investigation into the suspect’s potential involvement in the illegal drug
trade.
V. RECOMMENDATION/DISPOSITION
The recommendation or disposition in this case is to file criminal charges against
the suspect. The primary charge would be robbery with violence or intimidation, as the victim
was threatened with a firearm and forcibly deprived of her belongings the (RPC Art. 249
Robbery). Additionally, the suspect who was armed could face charges for illegal possession of
firearms if the weapon is unlicensed or unregistered. (RA 10591 Comprehensive Law on
Firearms and Ammunition)
Lastly, the victim should be provided with support, including options for
protection or compensation, ensuring her safety throughout the process.

Robbery with force upon things (Art. 299, Sec. 2 of RPC), Violation of RA No. 10591 ( The
Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition) and Violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive
Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), committed at about 2:00 AM of November 15, 2024, at Walter
Mart Mall, Brgy. Camacho, Balanga City, Bataan.

resident of 123 Ruby St., Brgy. Camacho, Balanga City, Bataan.

BETH LOGAN Y DOYLE, 22 years old, single, Filipino, jobless, and resident of #10

FACTS OF THE CASE:
Investigation disclosed that on November 15, 2024, at around 2:00 AM, the victim,
KATHRYN BERNADO Y PEREZ, was waiting for a ride home in front of Walter Mart Mall
when two male suspects forcibly took her black shoulder bag containing a Samsung phone, PHP
10,000.00 cash, and personal documents.
Responding police officers apprehended the suspect, identified as BETH LOGAN Y
DOYLE and the accomplice unidentified is at large, at Brgy. San Jose, Balanga City. The stolen
Samsung phone and PHP 5,000.00 cash were recovered from his possession, along with a black
9mm pistol with six live ammunition and a sachet of shabu.

2. This pertains to the Robbery with force upon things transpired at about 2:00AM
of November 15, 2024 in front of Walter Mart Mall situated, Brgy. Tenejero, Balanga City,
Bataan.
3. Please be informed that on November 16, 2024, at a around 12:00 PM, the
respondents were presented for inquest proceedings before the Office of the City Prosecutor by
OIC, City Prosecutor Hon. BINI, GO. For a case of Robbery with force upon things, Violation
of Sec. 11, Art 2 of RA 9165, and Sec. 28, Art. 5 of RA 10591 were filed before the Municipal
Trial Court in Cities against BETH LOGAN y DOYLE and the accomplice unidentified is at
large docketed under NPS Docket Number NPS-III-02-INQ-24C-00024 with criminal case
number 12187 and recommended bail bond amounting to PHP 250, 000.
