Parallelograms Partner Challenge Activity

The document outlines a partner challenge activity for students to practice solving problems related to the properties of parallelograms, including congruent sides and angles. Students work in pairs to solve equations and verify their answers with each other, with an option for independent practice. It also includes various problems for students to solve, reinforcing their understanding of parallelogram properties.

PARALLELOGRAM PROPERTIES

Partner Challenge!
Objective: To practice solving problems using the properties of parallelograms. All problems
will requite solving a multi-step equation. Properties included: opposite sides congruent,
diagonals bisect each other, opposite angles congruent, consecutive angles supplementary

Activity Directions: Pair students together. Partner A does the left side problem while Partner
B does the right side problem. They record their answer in the box. After each question, they
compare answers. If their answers match, they move on. If not, they trade paper and review
their partner’s work to help identify any mistakes.

I also included a non-partner version where students compete all problems independently.
