Functions of Keyboard
Function Keys (F1-F12)
* F1 - Opens the help menu in most programs.
* F2 - Renames a selected file or folder.
* F3 - Opens search functionality in programs.
* F4 - Used with Alt to close the active window.
* F5 - Refreshes or reloads the current page or window.
* F6 - Moves the cursor to the address bar in browsers.
* F7 - Initiates spell check in some programs like MS Word.
* F8 - Opens boot options menu during startup.
* F9 - Refreshes documents in applications like MS Word.
* F10 - Activates the menu bar in some programs.
* F11 - Toggles fullscreen mode in browsers.
* F12 - Opens developer tools in some browsers.
Standard Keys
* Esc - Cancels an operation or closes a dialog box.
* Enter - Executes a command or moves to the next line.
* Spacebar - Adds space between characters.
* Tab - Moves the cursor to the next field or indents text.
* Shift - Used to type uppercase letters or access secondary key functions.
* Caps Lock - Toggles uppercase typing on and off.
Navigation Keys
* Arrow Keys - Move the cursor or scroll through a document.
* Home - Moves the cursor to the start of a line or document.
* End - Moves the cursor to the end of a line or document.
* Page Up - Scrolls up a page in documents or browsers.
* Page Down - Scrolls down a page in documents or browsers.
Editing Keys
* Backspace - Deletes the character before the cursor.
* Delete - Removes the character after the cursor or deletes selected items.
* Insert - Toggles between inserting text and overwriting it.
Special System Keys
* Windows Key - Opens the Start menu in Windows.
* PrtSc (Print Screen) - Captures a screenshot of the screen.
* Alt - Used with other keys to execute commands.
* Ctrl - Used with other keys to modify functionality.
