SAVE PLANET EARTH ORGANIZATION HOLDS EARTH DAY FAIR

Head: Today, we celebrate the place we all call home – the


planet Earth.
(Earth comes in sad and sick)
(Everybody gasps in shock)
C1: What happened to Earth?
Earth: I need your help. I am very unique just like you. I have all
the right things to keep you healthy and safe, like clean air,
water, and food. But you have to help me healthy and clean.
C2: What seems to be the problem?
Earth: I am sick. And if im sick, the air gets sick, and the water
gets sick, and the ground gets sick, and that’s not good
anymore.
Head: The Earth is getting filled with garbage.
C1: So we must stop making so much garbage!
C5: When we have a picnic, we will use real plates instead of
paper plates.
C6: Then we wash and dry so we can use it again.
C5: I will use pretty cloth ones over and over again, instead of
using paper napkins.
Head: Yes, those are all good ways to cut back on trash.
C6: I don’t use plastic or paper bags when having groceries, I
bring my own canvas bags!
Earth: Thank you.
Head: Another way to make less trash is to share things. For
example –
C7: Toys! I always share my toys.
C8: Right. C7 lets me play with his toy sometimes.
C7: And I let him play with mine!
Earth: Sharing is an excellent way to reuse things.
Head: There are other ways to use things more than once, such
as –
C3: Oh, I know! When my socks get old, I don’t throw them
away, I use them to make puppets – see?
(Head passed out)
C3: Oops! Sorry. I guess I should wash the socks first.
(C4 splashes water to prof)
Head: Ach, water!
Earth: I am running out of clean water.
C4: we need to save water.
C2:I will take shorter showers than I used to.
C4: I save water when I brush my teeth. I turned it off after I
wet my toothbrush.
Earth: I am also running out of fuels to make electricity.
Head: What Earth wanted to say about that is –
C1: Turn out the lights and unplug your devices to save
electricity!
Earth: I am also running out of the fuel that run cars.
Head: So what I am must tell you is –
C8: Let’s ride a bike!
C2: Or a skateboard!
Head: I always say there’s nothing like using your own two feet.
Earth: Right now, I am the only planet you can live on. If we
work together, we can keep me the best place to live.
