I am writing to express my interest in applying for the Nursing Undergraduate

program at Bangor University. My passion for nursing has been shaped by both my
academic background and professional experience, and I am excited about the
opportunity to advance my skills through your esteemed program. These experiences
have inspired me to pursue this path and align it with my long-term career goals in
healthcare.

Throughout my education and professional career, I have developed key skills that
will contribute to my success in this program. I am highly organized, detail-
oriented, and capable of working both independently and within a team. My time at
BANS Pharmacy, where I worked from 2008 to 2020 as an Auxiliary Pharmacy Assistant,
allowed me to gain practical experience in patient care, medication management, and
customer service. I also developed strong communication and multitasking abilities
in a fast-paced environment. These experiences reinforced my desire to pursue a
career in healthcare and expand my knowledge through formal academic training.

I completed my primary education at Emotan Primary School from 1991 to 1997, which
laid a strong foundation for my academic journey. I then attended Paragon
Comprehensive College from 1997 to 2003, where I obtained my WAEC certificate.
These early experiences taught me valuable skills such as discipline, time
management, and a strong work ethic—qualities that have guided me in both my
studies and professional life.

After completing my education, I joined BANS Pharmacy, where I worked for 12 years.
During this time, I was responsible for assisting with patient care, managing
inventory and preparing prescriptions. The hands-on experience I gained in this
role has shaped my understanding of the healthcare industry and prepared me to take
the next step in my academic and professional development.

I am particularly drawn to the Nursing program at Bangor University because of its

comprehensive curriculum, renowned faculty, and focus on practical experience. I am
eager to learn from distinguished professors and collaborate with peers who share
my dedication to improving patient care. The program's emphasis on Health Care
aligns perfectly with my aspirations to specialize in nursing and make a meaningful
impact in healthcare.

My long-term goal is to advance in the nursing profession, ultimately contributing

to better patient outcomes and the development of healthcare practices. I believe
that this program will provide the essential knowledge and skills to help me
achieve this. By pursuing this degree, I will be equipped with the tools necessary
for a successful career in nursing, enabling me to contribute to improving
healthcare delivery and public health.

In conclusion, I am excited about the opportunity to study at Bangor University and

confident that my academic background, professional experience, and passion for
nursing will enable me to thrive in your program. I look forward to contributing to
the university community and achieving my long-term career goals in nursing.

Thank you for considering my application.

Yours faithfully,
Owolabi Emmanuel
