frequency and amplifier gain.

2. A Wein bridge oscillator, has the following components: R1 and R2 variable from
500Ω to 5KΩ and C1=C2=300nF. Calculate the maximum and minimum output
frequencies.

3. Show how modifications should be made to the Wein bridge circuit

a) Output amplitude stabilization and b) frequency control
a. b.
4. Sketch the circuit of a two range adjustable output attenuator for use with a sinusoidal
oscillator.

5. A 5V sine wave is fed from a Wien bridge oscillator to the attenuator circuit.

The input bias current to the operational amplifier is IB=500nA
6. Draw the diagram of a sine to square wave conversion circuit using diode clipping.
Explain how the circuit operates.

7. Sketch a basic function generator circuit for producing sine, triangular, and square
waveforms. And show a modification for frequency range changing.
8. The integrator circuit has C1=0.1µF, R1=1KΩ, and R2=10KΩ. If the Schmitt trigger
circuit has ±3V trigger points, calculate the output frequency when the moving contact
of R1 is at the top of the potentiometer, and when it is at 10% of R 1 from the bottom. The
supply voltage is Vcc=±15V.

9. Sketch a basic block diagram and waveforms for a pulse generator.
