Router and Switches
Router and Switches II In Routers and Switches we learned several things such as: what is a
Router, why we need Routers, what is the importance of a Router. We also learned what VLSM is
and how to do it and use it. Throughout CCNA we learned how to configure a Router; the
different types of Routing protocols and most importantly what, when and how to use those
protocols in the field. Finally I will discuss Switches in how they are use to set up a LAN.
Throughout this paper these topic will be discuss to cover what was learned through class lecture
and text book (CCNA study guide by Lammle) and actually applied through hands on labs which
were done with actual Cisco Router and Switches within a working LAN and Ethernet connection...

The most common of the two link state protocols is OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) it is widely
used throughout the field (#1) due to it being a non proprietor protocol as well as its ability to
interface with other networks. With OSPF you can group router into small areas and link them
through a back bone when this is done you create the following a back bone router within the area
of the back bone there is an area border router (ABR), ABR must have one interface in each area
meaning the back bone and the area trying to link to the back bone, OSPF can also connect to
multiple Autonomous System. When configuring OSPF you must assign a process number in all
router within that group must use that same number, the number can range for 1 to 65,535 you
can also have more than one each one will maintain its own separate topology table as well as
manage it independently. There is also distance vectors RIP vs. 1 and 2 (Routing Information
Protocol) these work well on small networks, IGRP (Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and
EIGRP (is the enhanced version of IGRP). The thing about these two meaning IGRP and EIGRP is
that they are proprietary protocols so they only work

If Asteroids Were To End The World
Charli McConnell
College English
How is the world going to end? Surely this is not a question that goes through everyday minds,
but it is a big question. If the world were to end right now, how would it happen? How would it
affect families, countries, civilizations? Would you react in a rational or irrational way as the world
falls to pieces around you. If a 9 mile wide asteroid were to cause an apocalyptic event, whether it
hits the earth or moon, it would cause many natural disasters to happen that would destroy the world
as we know it. It has already happened before, but not in any human s lifetime. It is believed that
sixty five million years ago a large asteroid impacted the earth, causing a huge influence on the
extinction of dinosaurs. Asteroids typically top the list of extraterrestrial objects that could hit Earth.

Since they do fall to earth a lot, asteroids typically top the list of extraterrestrial objects that could
hit Earth (Hernandez, 2012, p. 1). This is true but an asteroid would have to be pretty big in order
for it to cause mass destruction.
R.A. Kerr says in the 2002 article A Little Respect for the Asteroid Threat,
At a NASA sponsored workshop... researchers heard mixed tidings about the asteroid threat. The
good news is that the search for civilization ending asteroids seems to have passed the halfway point
and is on track to reach NASA s goal of detecting 90% of them before the end of the decade (p.
1785).
With this information it seems that the probability of detecting an asteroid falling to earth is pretty
high, but what if the technology does not function properly? Would we still be prepared?
Technology is unreliable and the end of the world could be any day, any
Alien Invasions In The Iron Giant
Imagine waking up on a seemingly normal morning to the sound of screams coming from the streets,
and the unsettling feeling of dread lingering in the air. Harsh, bright lights shine through your
window and local news stations report a startling disturbances taking place throughout the entire
town. It is then that you realize there has been an alien invasion of Earth. This strange situation leads
humans to pose the following question: what is the appropriate response to an alien invasion?
People often question the legitimacy of extraterrestrial life, but, if the earth does encounter life forces
from another world, how should people react? In the science fictiongenre, alien invasions are a
recurrent theme, but, although they may be entertaining,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One significant factor to consider is the alien s technological advancements, which are likely much
greater than ours. Further, it is important to remember that these organisms probably won t share
many similarities with us physically or mentally. They may not share our senses of sight, hearing, or
touch, and they could use some form of communication that is currently inconceivable to us. No
matter what the traits of these aliens may be, history has shown that just because something may
not look or act the same as us, does not mean they need to be a threat to us. It may be challenging to
control the media or to calm the public, but, no matter the danger potential of the aliens, this may be
one of the highest priorities. History has also shown us that propaganda and fear can be extremely
powerful in influencing the behavior of the public. This has the opportunity to result in tragedy, but
it would be easily controlled by calming the media. Of course, the alien invasion should be handled
with heavy precaution, and officials should be mindful as they consider the full magnitude of
possibilities when it comes to interactions with unknown life
The Change Process And How Change Affects People
The people involved in the change process and how change affects people Change is an ever
present feature in the life of an organization. Change can happen in any forms and sizes, with the
aim that it will positively benefit an organization. Unfortunately, managing change is one of the
biggest challenges for business leaders and managers. Burnes (2011, as cited in Lawrence, 2015)
reported that 70 per cent seems to be a common number associated to change failures, based on
change studies done over the last 40 years. Why such a high rate of failure? The answer is poor
management . Very often those responsible for managing change tend to neglect some of the
important factors of the change process, and it has been found that people is the key to success.
Over the years, many useful change process models have been developed, and irrespective of the
model, if human issues are not addressed thoroughly, negative outcomes can be expected. This is
simply because change affects people, and we all react to change differently. We should not ignore
the fact that change is made by people and eventually change will have an implication on how
people do things. According to Gilgeous (1997), people in an organization involved in the change
process can be classified in three categories: change sponsors, change champions and change players.
Change sponsors are the ones who have the authority and responsibility to command changes. They
identify what changes need to be done and to what
Airline Pest Analysis
Introduction
Ryanair is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland and operates a low fare, no frill scheduled passenger
airline. Ryanair serves short haul, point to point routes between Ireland, the United Kingdom,
and continental Europe, making Ryanair Europe¡¦s largest low fare airline. It has destinations in
13 countries with 76 low fare routes. Its fleet consists of 21 Boeing 737 200s and 21 737 800s.
Launched in 1985, Ryanair¡¦s growth has been extraordinary. Ryanair currently employs a team of
1500 people and will carry over 13 million scheduled passengers in the current year (2002). In 1986,
Ryanair broke the high fare cartel, which was then operated by the two state airlines Aer Lingus and
British Airways in the Dublin London route. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But Emirates choice of trading sector is very interesting. During the past years it has been very
successful in negotiating and lowering new routes to the sub continent, south East Asia, Far East and
other European routes. And in those routes too only British Airways, Singapore Airlines etc stands
as a rival, In short there is no direct threatening competitor for Emirates. Thus Emirates enjoys the
freedom from cutting cost of fixing or reducing its fares. Unlike Ryanair, which is a domestic
airlines in Europe, Emirates is thriving hard to promote itself as a Global Airlines by selecting
destinations around the world.
Core Competency
No doubt, Ryanair¡¦s secret behind its success is based on its ability to promote it as a low fare
airlines which automatically stimulates demand, particularly from budget conscious leisure and
business travelers, who might otherwise have used alternative forms of transportation or who might
not have traveled at all. Ryanairs¡¦s success can also be attributed to an excellent management under
Michael O¡¦Leary. Creating customer¡¦s confidence by punctuality, excellent baggage handling,
avoiding the formation of trade unions, more frequency etc can also be related as the reason for
Rayanair¡¦s success.
For Emirates, more than anything, it is the quality of the service, which separate them from other
airlines. With its young fleet of airlines, Emirates has managed to stay on top by providing various
services to its travelers. The Skyward

Benefits and Compensation
Introduction
Employee benefits are one of the most driving measures for obtaining qualified employees. It is
important for organizations to provide employees with not only hourly or salary wage but also other
benefits that can make them more desirable to well qualified individuals. Organizations must be able
to communicate all of the benefits to current and prospective employees clearly enough for them to
understand exactly what is offered.
Government Regulated Benefits The government is there to help protect employees for many
reasons, things such as worker s compensation, unemployment, and ... Show more content on

While I did say that only the doctors are awarded fringe benefits, this is not necessarily true.
Hygienists, dental assistants, and even the front desk staff that hold certificates are awarded the
added benefit of free renewals for licenses and so forth. They are also awarded free seminars that
are necessary for updating licenses and certificates. These seminars not only provide the necessary
credits for yearly or by yearly updates, but also new means of how tasks should be carried out. As
healthcare professionals, we are responsible for obtaining current methods of practice for carrying
out tasks.
Items such as infection control and patient confidentiality are an ongoing task. With patients/people s
concerns with what infectious diseases can conjure it is only natural that people would be concerned
about. Patient confidentiality is another on going concern.
Communication Process of Compensation Benefits The current communication of benefits
provided to our practices employees is a bit vague, but still understood by all. They do not hold
yearly meetings or anything of the sort, but old postings are around the office justifying the initial
benefits provided. These are still upheld , with the added benefit that they are old , all employees
realize it up to the treating doctor to determine whether employee family members are to receive
treatment at no cost or a discounted cost.

Compare And Contrast The Patton Speech And The Address To...
The Patton speech and the Address to the Troops at Tilbury are some of the most influential and
impactful war speeches of all time. During these times of war, crisis and desperation, how do the
speakers address the fears and hopes of their men? Under similar circumstances, what appeal would
best address your own fears and hopes? The Pattonspeech and the Address to the Troops at Tilbury
were both written for different purposes and were equally effective in conveying their message to the
targeted audience. This success has been reached through the use of the speakers tone and well
organized structure of the speech. Through close readings of both texts, the reader can identify
different target audience and purpose between the two. In... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

speech on a similar note. However, instead of going back to the old ideals of America, he looks to
the future. He tells of how the soldiers will be honored when the battle is fought and won. He
tries to make them believe that they will see home again and will live long into old age. His
positive view of the outcomes allows the soldiers to look forward to going home to a country free
from conflict. Instead of being disgraced for being cowards, these soldiers will be proud to say
they fought in the war. There is one great thing... you men...be able to say after this war is over and

Jewish Diaspora Essay
Khachig Tölölyan terms the past few decades as a transnational moment...a time of fragmentation,
heterogeneity, and unparalleled mass dispersion...a time of cultural and political regrouping, of
renewed confidence for ethnonations existing across the boundaries of established nation states
(1991:4). In this period, there has been a discursive shift to categorize people who have transgressed
national boundaries as diaspora. This term, once primarily used to describe the Jewish diaspora, has
increased in use since the late 1980s (Brubaker 2005: 1), as scholars have attempted to develop a
discourse to discuss and theorize the migration of peoples within a transnational context.
In age of globalization, the boundaries of the nation state has become ... Show more content on

Its origins can be traced back to the Greek word diaspeirein, meaning a fruitful scattering of seeds
(Tölölyan 1996: 10). Kim D. Butler writes, the word diaspora is defined, at its simplest, as the
dispersal of a people from its original homeland (2001: 189). Yet this simple definition does not
explain how diaspora is distinguishable from other forms of migration, for we can assume that all
peoples migrated from a point of origin at some time. Scholar Floya Anthias takes a different
approach in defining diaspora:
Diaspora references a connection between groups across different nation states whose commonality
derives from an original but maybe removed homeland; a new identity becomes constructed on a
world scale which crosses national borders and boundaries...it may also denote a social condition,
entailing a particular form of consciousness (1998:2).
In this way, study of diaspora affords us a view of social processes beyond the national scale, one
that possibly transcends boundaries of the nation state and instead focuses on the global and
dynamic ties between migrants, their country of origin, and their current country of residence. It
becomes a way of identifying oneself with a specific group and choosing to take on or reject a form

5.IMPACT OF HYBRID SYSTEMS ON THE ENVIRONMENT
Manufacture, transport and energy practice in a large range affect the ecology and surroundings.
Energy control is almost always negativeon the environment, like the straight environmental
tragedies like acid rain, oil spills and radioactivity to the indirect penalties such as worldwideheating.
Since the energy desires of manhood will last to grow over the next few decades, there are
essentialtrials to decrease the control of energy waste on the environment compact to a least.
Percentage use of environmentally friendly renewable energy is still negligible on a worldwide scale
so that the environmental problems as a result of extreme use of fossil fuels deserve particular
concentration not only with energy but definitely also from the environmental point of view.
Different energy sources have unlike impacts on the atmosphere in which these sources of energy
formed, transported or used. Surface ozone is just single of the many troubles related with
Blade Faults in Gas Turbines
Gas turbines are often exposed to ingestion of particles suspended in the air such as dust, ash, salt,
ice, water droplets, and sand particles during operation. These particles are the most important factor
that cause blade fault in all types of gas turbines. The most common types of blade fault are fouling,
erosion, tip clearance increase, water ingestion, and foreign object damage (FOD) [1]. Most of
mentioned cases cause roughness over the blade surfaces that deteriorate the gas turbine
performance. Different numerical methods were used to solve the gas turbine cascade flow field in
recent years. In most of these studies, the quasi three dimensional Navier Stokes analysis is used.
On the other hand, in some studies the flow fields were experimentally tested. Sheets of sandpaper
with different equivalent sand grain roughness heights have been used by researchers to produce
roughness on surface of gas turbine blades placed in a wind tunnel and applying flow conditions of
their case.
1.1 Experimental work
Yun et al. [2] used sheets of sandpapers with equivalent sand grain roughness heights of 106 and
400 micrometers. The performance tests have been conducted in a low speed, single stage, axial
flow turbine having roughened blades. They showed that for blades with roughnesses of the fully
rough regime (400 ), the normalized efficiency decreases by 11 percent for stator vanes and 8
percent for rotor blades. For blades having a roughness in the transitionally rough regime (106
