The Eruption Of A Volcano
A volcano is a rupture on the crust of a planetary mass object, such as Earth, that allows hot lava,
volcanic ash, and gases to escape from a magma chamber below the surface. Earth s volcanoes
occur because its crust is broken into 17 major, rigid tectonic plates that float on a hotter, softer
layer in its mantle. Therefore, on Earth, volcanoes are generally found where tectonic plates are
diverging or converging. For example, a mid oceanic ridge, such as the Mid Atlantic Ridge, has
volcanoes caused by divergent tectonic plates pulling apart; the Pacific Ring of Fire has
volcanoes caused by convergent tectonic plates coming together. Volcanoes can also form where
there is stretching and thinning of the crust s interior plates, e.g., in the East African Rift and the
Wells Gray Clearwater volcanic field and Rio Grande Rift in North America. This type of
volcanism falls under the umbrella of plate hypothesis volcanism. Volcanism away from plate
boundaries has also been explained as mantle plumes. These so called hotspots , for example
Hawaii, are postulated to arise from upwelling diapirs with magma from the core mantle boundary,
3,000 km deep in the Earth. Volcanoes are usually not created where two tectonic plates slide past
one another. Erupting volcanoes can pose many hazards, not only in the immediate vicinity of the
eruption. One such hazard is that volcanic ash can be a threat to aircraft, in particular those with jet
engines where ash particles can be melted by
My Senior Year Was By Far The Best
My senior year was by far the best. I had all great teachers and graduation was right around the
corner. My favorite teacher, that year was my English teachers Mrs. Carver. She was one of the
few teachers that wanted and did teach life lessons, along with educational lessons. She focused a
lot on making sure we understood that there are small scenario in our lives that have major or minor
impacts on us. Due to that, we did not really focus on our writing. Even our research paper was
based on creativity and making sure when we write we put our voice and feelings into the paper, at
the appropriate times. Us not focusing on writing made my small scenario have a major impact on
me. My writing grammatically was never enhanced. Upon graduation, I decided to take a couple of
collegecourses online to get a good start on my freshman year at Ole Miss. I talked to Mrs.
Rhodes, my 11th grade writing teacher, about the classes I wanted to take, which were Writing
101 and College Algebra. I decided to talk to Mrs. Rhodes because she was the only teacher that
challenged me academically and personally. I went to her with any and every problem. After
telling her my plans she agreed that it was indeed a good an idea . She also warned me about the
challenges I might face with not being fully prepared, after having such a long break from real
writing. I then went to our local junior college, Northwest Community College the Desoto campus,
and signed up for my online classes. My college
Jrotc Program History
There are little changes that had happened to the JROTC program since it had been established in

Defense Act. The Norwich Academy educationinvolved for citizens were (long marches, learning
Moral Conflict in the The Crucible Essay examples
Moral Conflict in the The Crucible Arthur Miller s play, The Crucible, is a great portrayal of
humans and their struggles. This play takes place in the 1690 s in Salem, a small Puritan
community based on a rigid social system, where an outbreak of rumors claiming witchcraft
contaminated the small village. The witch hysteria was initiated by a group of young girls (headed
by Abigail Williams,) who were afraid of being accused of swaying from the strict regulations. This
caused conflict among the people of the community and ultimately resulted in absolute chaos. I am
going to write about three of the main characters, Reverend Hale, John Proctor and Mary Warren,
who have some of the most intense internal and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Here begins the Reverend s inner turmoil. With scrutiny, he looks at himself and tries to figure out
which way to go. Should he continue with what he is doing and listen to Judge Danforth or
should he listen to his conscience? He does try a feeble attempt to talk to Danforth and explain
how the unjust the court actions are, but again, his inner struggle pulls him back to a more
moderate stand. Hale then decides to persuade the wrongly accused to confess witchcraft. At least
this will save them from death by hanging. He preaches perjury to the people, even though this is
also against their religion. Hale s principles were ridden with guilt and sadness because of his
struggle with himself. Not only does Hale question himself, and Danforth, but he questions his
religion. Near the end of Act IV, Hale tells Elizabeth that following religion is not worth it if
religion can justify the death of so many innocent people without credible evidence. This is the
ultimate reproach, and Hale ends up leaving after the hangings, with the weight of 19 innocent
people (including the good names of Rebecca Nurse, Martha Corey and John Proctor,) dead,
which rests somewhat on his shoulders. John Proctor a farmer and village commoner is similarly
faced with an inner turmoil. He, as well as Giles Corey and Rebecca Nurse became very prominent
people and were respected in Salem. Because of his role in the
The reform of the British constitution remains unfinished...
In this essay, I would like to analyse why the reform of the British constitution is seen as unfinished
business. Constitutional reform is when the system of government and how government institutions
interact is changed. This has also meant the codification of some components of the constitution in
the UK. Between 1997 and 2007, there were a considerable number of constitutional reforms
introduced by the Blair governments. These reforms included devolution in Scotland, Wales and
Northern Ireland, decentralisation, reform of the House of Lordsand Commons, creations of new
legislation granting greater freedom and rights within the UK, and so on. However, some of them
are yet to be accomplished or in progress related to the electoral and... Show more content on

Until now, the content of the constitutional reform has not covered any electoral reform yet as the
constitution was prone to manipulation by single party governments.

The reform of the Human Rights Act can illustrate that the constitutional reform did not go far
enough. In 1998, the Blair government announced that the citizens rights would be safeguarded and
strengthened through incorporating the European Convention on Human Rights into UK law.
However, this created a problem as the UK now has two sets of rights those built up under Common
Law and those in the Human Rights Act. These two sets of rights may conflict and, in addition, cases
can be taken using these rights to both the UK Supreme Court and the European Court of Human
Rights (which is the supreme court for the European Convention on Human Rights). The UK
judiciary is divided on how to resolve this issue.

The centrepiece of Labour s programme of constitutional reform was undoubtedly devolution. This
was achieved with remarkably few problems. There now seems no likelihood that the new
arrangements could be reversed, even by a Conservative administration. The election on 6 May
1999 of a Parliament in Scotland, with extensive powers of primary legislation as well as tax
raising, and an Assembly in Wales, with powers of secondary legislation only, will have a profound
impact on governance within the UK. In

satellite campus for Los Angeles State College now known as Cal State Los Angeles. However,
resident leaders decided to organized and successfully overturn the legislation to make sure later
a four year college would be located in the San Fernando Valley. Furthermore, December 21,

Taking a Look at Electric Cars
Automobiles have become such an integral part of living in a modern society. Many places in
the first world are inexplicably fortunate enough to have such incredible transportation technology
at their finger tips. While this technology is a dream, the gasoline powered cars we use today
attribute to about 25% of the worlds carbon emissions (Agassi, Shai Agassi: A new ecosystem for
electric cars). This is a giant concern, but the car industry may find themselves a little more
concerned with the depleting oil that is burned away daily by drivers. It s unavoidable, there
needs to be a change made sooner than later, and hybrid isn t solving our problems fast enough.
The best alternate choice seems to be a full conversion to electric cars. These cars replace gasoline
engines with an electric one, running on battery power. The battery of these cars runs current
through the motor to the wheels, operating like a light and a light switch where the increase in
speed is similar to having a dimmer on that light (Brain, How Electric Cars Work 1). This
technology removes the harmful carbon emission, making it a sustainable solution to our current
problems, but it still struggles to be implemented as it has since it was first created. The electric car
finds its inception in the mid 1800 s, sparked by Gaston Planté s invention of the lead acid storage
battery in 1851, the original version of what we use in cars today. This battery would lead the way
for many variations of electric powered
Alcoholin Cyst Research Paper
A Bartholin cyst is a fluid filled sac that forms on a Bartholin gland. Bartholin glands are small
glands located within the folds of skin (labia) along the sides of the lower opening of the vagina.
These glands produce a fluid to moisten the outside of the vagina during sexual intercourse.
A Bartholin cyst causes a bulge on the side of the vagina. A cyst that is not large or infected may
not cause symptoms or problems. However, if the fluid within the cyst becomes infected, the cyst
can turn into an abscess. An abscess may cause discomfort or pain.

CAUSES
A Bartholin cyst may develop when the duct of the gland becomes blocked. In many cases, the
cause of this is not known. Various kinds of bacteria can cause the cyst to become infected and lead
to an abscess.

RISK FACTORS

An incision is made in the cyst or abscess so that the fluid drains out. A catheter may be placed
inside the cyst so it does not close and fill back up with fluid. The catheter will be removed after
following up with a specialist (gynecologist).
○ Marsupialization. The cyst or abscess is opened and kept open by stitching the edges of the skin
to the walls of the cyst or abscess. This allows it to continue to drain and not fill up with fluid again.
If you have cysts or abscesses that keep returning and have required incision and drainage multiple
times, your health care provider may talk to you about surgery to remove the Bartholin gland.

HOME CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Take medicines only as directed by your health care provider.
If you were prescribed an antibiotic medicine, finish it all even if you start to feel better.
Apply warm wet compresses to the area or take warm, shallow baths that cover your pelvic region
(sitz baths) several times a day or as directed by your health care provider.
Do not squeeze or apply heavy pressure to the cyst.
Do not have sexual intercourse until the cyst has gone

Polymerization Is The Four Major Groups Of Macromolecules
Polymerization Polymerization is when two monomer molecules join together to form a larger
polymer monomer molecule or a chain of lager polymer molecules. This chemical reaction takes
place through dehydration synthesis. Dehydration synthesis is when water is removed to make it
able for monomers to join of bond together. The four major group of biochemical: carbohydrates,
nucleic acid, lipids, and proteins share properties with polymerization of the macromolecules.
Therefore completed macromolecules depend on properties of single monomers and their sequence.
The four major biochemical groups (carbohydrates, nucleic acid, lipids and proteins) go through the
process of dehydration synthesis to reach their goal and become polymers by joining together

Abstract
In the digital age, there has been an unprecedented growth in both the use and dependency on
internet, particularly among children populace. Whereas increased use of information technology by
children has some positive dimensions, there is a glaring flipside, the concern over growing child
abuse cases on the Internet. Reliable statistics point that India is home to 19% of World s children
and the production and distribution of child abuse images has become a rampant problem in India.
According to a 2007 study conducted by Ministry of Women and Child Welfare in India, wherein
over 12,000 children were studied for child abuse, 4.4% of them were found to have been victims of
child pornography. Children face a number of threats in the online world, including cyberbullying,
sexual harassment, cyber grooming, sexting, phishing, photo morphing, identity thefts, amongst
other cybercrimes. In India, while the Information Technology Act,2000 (IT Act) and the Protection
of Children From Sexual Offences Act,2012 (POCSO Act)are special legislations that declare
certain illegal acts directed at children online as punishable offences, the existing statutes fail to
define many of such offences and/or address other emerging cybercrimes targeting children for
sexual abuse. For example,

QUESTION Discuss Accidental Death of an Anarchist as a political satire?

ANSWER Dario Fo has written and performed in many important and immediate political causes of
his time (malik 1)In his play Accidental Death of an Anarchist Dario Fo has used the satire
purposely to reveal the true picture of the Italian government, which is corrupted by the people who
make and safeguard the law that is the judges and the police officers.
In this play there are many incidents which show how police officers and the judges help each other
in their fallacious activity. This incident portrays how the police officers use their authority to
manipulate the people and cause corruption in the society. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

They don`t want the people to be aware about the wrong happening around them. These things
were very well portrayed in the play. In the play when the reporter Miss Maria Feletti comes to
meet the inspector and to interview him about the suicide the inspector was so worried. He did not
want any interview to take place as it may reveal the true picture of the case .But when the mad man
says that if they refuse the reporter, she might be upset and may write some defamatory article about
him. This made the inspector to call the reporter and give her the interview. This also shows the
guilt, the inspector had on killing the anarchist. He doesn t want the reporter to reveal the true
incident that happened, in front of the public.
The act written by Dari Fo Accidental Death of an Anarchist have brilliantly portrayed the political
satire at that time. It has shown the corruptly working government of Italy and how they manipulate
the innocent public. It had sediment the feeling of anger in public against the Italian government in

Blake s The Marriage of Heaven and Hell Essay
Blake s The Marriage of Heaven and Hell

The Nature of my Work is Visionary or Imaginative; it is an Endeavor to Restore what the Ancients
calld the Golden Age. William Blake (Johnson/Grant,xxiv).

William Blake completed the manuscript of The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, as well as the
twenty five accompanying engraved plates, in 1792. In the sense that the The Marriage of Heaven
and Hell is a vision of a particular version of reality, it subscribes to one definition of the mythic, but
also fulfills another as Birenbaum writes in Tragedy and Innocence: ...on a more specialized level...

Blake uses traditional symbols of angels and devils, animal imagery, and especially images of fire
and flame to: 1) set up a dual world, a confrontation of opposites or contraries which illustrate how
the rules of Reason and Religion repress and pervert the basic creative energy of humanity, 2)
argues for apocalyptic transformation of the self through the radical regeneration of each person s
own power to imagine (Johnson/Grant, xxiv), and 3) reconstructs Man in a new image, a fully
realized Man who is both rational and imaginative, partaking of his divinity through creativity. The
form of the poem consists of The Argument, expositions on his concepts of the contraries and of
expanded perception which are both interspersed with Memorable Fancies that explicate and enlarge
on his expositions, and concludes with A Song of Liberty, a prophecy of a future heaven on earth.

Without Contraries is no progression. Attraction and

Repulsion, reason and Energy, Love and Hate, are

necessary to Human existence.

From these contraries spring what the religious call

Good Evil. Good is the passive that obeys Reason.

Evil is the active springing from Energy.

Good is Heaven. Evil is Hell.

(MHH, pp. 66 7)

One of the main themes of The Marriage of Heaven and Hell is the confrontation of the grand
oppositions of orthodox Christian doctrine: Heaven and Hell, good and evil,
Essay on Rylands v Fletcher Case Analysis
TUTORIAL 14 WRITTEN OPINION

RE:LEGAL EAGLES

Summary of Facts
I am asked by the owner of The Friday Shop and the owners of the apartments (Claimants) to write
an opinion to establish if they are able to claim for damages from Boutique Bugs (Defendant) for the
amount of $1,100,000 based on the elements of the rule in Rylands v Fletcher.
Rylands v Fletcher (R v. F) is based on the doctrine of Strict Liability. This means that the
defendant is liable for all damages caused by engaging in hazardous of dangerous activities.
Blackburn J at 279 states We think that the true rule of the law is, that the personal who for his own
purposes brings on his lands and collects and keeps there ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some activities are suitable in some areas and not in others, for instance blasting in the midst of a
large city carries extraordinary risks but not in remote areas.
It is in my opinion that Boutique Bugs have met the element of non natural use of land and for its
purposes , where in this case is for the economic benefit of Boutique Bugs and is therefore liable in
this instance.
Mischief when it escapes (Escaping Substances Doctrine)
I would refer to escape in this case as it was referred to in R v. F. Blackburn J in his ruling mentions
that an element of control keep it in his peril to mitigate damages in the event of escape. This
clearly states that the defendant has full liability for damages regardless of how the dangerous item
escapes (element of Strict Liability). Therefore Boutique Bugs is responsible for both the escapes
i.e escape from the research facility as well as from the accident.
The defence might argue that the context in which escape is used commented by Lord Macmillan
in obiter in Read v Lyon is where the defendant has occupation or, or control over, land to a place
which is outside his occupation and control .
Did Boutique Bugs have control over the escape of the bugs? Was the escape of bugs foreseeable?
