Numeracy and Literacy Enrichment Program Proposal
Introduction
The Numeracy and Literacy Enrichment Program seeks to improve the reading and math skills of the
students in our community. This will be a focused support program that will lead them to being
academically successful and having a solid foundation for educational activities.
Objectives
I. Improve your numeracy skills
Develop the understanding and ability of the student with regard to mathematical concepts.
II. Reading Competency Development
Achieve mastery of writing, reading, and comprehension skills to improve overall literacy.
III. Enhance Academic Competency
Challenge them to the more demanding standards and grades.
Target Audience
I. Students in Junior High School (Grade 7 – 10)
II. Students identified as needing additional support in numeracy and literacy.
Strategies
1. Screening and Selection
I. Assess the students to understand their strengths and where they may be lacking in terms of
numeracy and literacy.
II. Work with the teachers and parents in order to choose the target students most likely to be helped
through the program.
2. Tailored Learning
I. Design a tailored plan in view of the assessments.
II. Hold small group and one-on-one tutoring sessions focusing on specific skills and concepts.
III. Instructor to implement interesting and engaging ways of teaching to keep the students on board
and motivated.
3. Supplemental Resources
I. Have quality learning materials available.
II. Establish a resource library for teachers; have tools to be used within a class.
4. Workshops/Training
I. Conduct workshops that will enable the student to become more practiced with full applicability of
their skill in a supportive environment.
II. Supply opportunity for teacher professional development to share best practices and innovative
strategies related to teaching numeracy and literacy skills.
5. Parental Involvement
I.
Through information delivery sessions and products of supportive learning at home parents would be
engaged.
II. There would be an encouragement of parents in participating the activities of the program being
implemented and the progress being monitored.
Implementation Plan
1. Planning and Organization
* Form a planning committee of educators, parents, teachers, and community leaders of partner
schools.
* Conduct needs assessment and gather information on the student performances.
* Develop a program plan with specific goals and timelines and deliverables as well as
responsibilities.
2. Program Launch
* Pilot test in GFIS to test and refine the approach.
* Conduct intake interviews and create individualized learning plans for the students who are
registered.
* Start the first cycle of the tutorial and workshop activities.
3. Scaling Up and Evaluation
* Institute more schools to carry on with the program once the pilot stage is certified as a success
* Monitor the students' progress constantly and revise any instructional practices necessary.
* Continually ask assistance for students, teachers and parents' input for the improvement of the
program
4. Sustainability
* Continuous funding through grants, donation, and partnership that will sustain the program's long-
term life
* Involving the community, which makes ownership for the sustainability and the continued support
and participation.
Anticipated Outcome
* Improved numeracy and literacy skills of the participating students.
* Improved academic performance of students, with increased confidence
* Strong collaboration among schools, parents, and the community

The Numeracy and Literacy Enrichment Program is an effort to provide students with the rudimentary
skills needed in enabling them for strong founding skills. We make the difference in student academic
success through targeted instruction, engaging resources, and collaborative efforts.

“Career Compass”
Proposal for Career Exploration Workshops
Introduction
In this proposal, we aim to establish a series of Career Exploration Workshops that will help
participants in their interest identification, strand-related skill building, and exploration of several
different career pathways. It intends to offer great insight and resourceful aid to the individuals
involved in these workshops to make a strand or career decision.
Objectives
* General overview to participants of the wide ranging strand/career options, as well as various
industries.
* To support the students in understanding their skills, interests, and values according to what they
have established in their strand/ career goals.
* Extensive hands-on experience and practical skills relevant to different strand/career paths.
* Networking opportunity helps link participants and professionals together.
Target Audience
The workshops will be designed for Grade 10 Students who are seeking guidance in their strand/
career exploration journey.
Structure of the Workshop
Workshop 1: Self-Evaluation
Activities: Personality tests, skills assessments, and value exploration.
Results: Participants will know more about themselves, in terms of strengths and interests.
Workshop 2: Career Roadmaps
Activities: Research on various careers, guest speakers from different industries and interactive
discussions.
Results: Participants will acquire knowledge about various careers and career paths.
Workshop 3: Skill-Building
Activities: Resume writing, Thesis writing consultations, and communication skill building.
Results: Participants will gain valuable skills on basic and much needed knowledge during their
Senior High School.
Workshop 4: Networking and Professional Development
Activities: 1. Networking events and industry professionals, panel discussions with Q&A.
2. We’ll invite our participants (G10 students) to our school GFIS to experienced some
hands-on activities in relation with their chosen strand.
Outcomes: Developing connections and gaining new knowledge from professional persons.

Community Service and Leadership Program Proposal
Introduction
This is a community service proposal that looks to take advantage of the power of volunteerism as a
tool in meeting certain needs in the community and creating an atmosphere of volunteerism within the
community. It would encourage active participation in meaningful service projects toward community
service that contributes to the betterment of society at large, to which the volunteer will also contribute
during the process.
Objectives
1. Community Development: Identify and undertake organized service projects to address specific
community needs.
2. Volunteer Engagement: It encourages community members to take up community service.
3. Skill Development: This is the time in which volunteers learn to work as a team, lead the group,
and communicate with one another.
4. Community Awareness: This is the opportunity in which local issues are brought to notice and
among participants a feeling of responsibility is developed.
Target Audience
It is open to anyone regardless of age, including the young, families, and other members of the
community who seek to make a positive difference in the community.
Program Design
I. Needs Assessment
Surveys and community meetings to identify specific needs and areas for service.
II. Service Projects
Coordinate a variety of service projects the specific needs of the community call for, such as:
A. Food Drives: Giving healthy foods for the homeless or in need persons/ families.
B. Community Clean-Up: Organizing clean-up and beautification events in public spaces.
C. Mentorship Programs: Tutoring and mentoring of the youth in the surrounding areas.
III. Volunteer Training
Designate training sessions for volunteers on project management, communication, and community
engagement.
IV. Awards and Recognition
Host a yearly event to recognize the volunteer service contributions and celebrate the success of the
program in the community.
