Week 1: Force and Newton’s Laws (Unit 3)
1. Read textbook Unit 3 thoroughly.
2. Write definitions: Mass, Weight, Force, Inertia, Net Force.
3. Explain and illustrate Newton’s three laws of motion with examples.
4. Solve: 5 MCQs + 2 short questions.
5. Draw and label: Free Body Diagram of a moving object.
6. Attempt 1 long question: Newton’s Second Law and its application.
Week 2: Friction and Equilibrium (Unit 4)
1. Revise states of equilibrium and types of friction.
2. Differentiate: Static vs. Kinetic Friction.
3. Solve: 3 conceptual questions + 3 numerical (moment problems).
4. Draw and label diagrams on: Turning effects of force.

5. Write short paragraph on: ”Why friction is both useful and
undesirable.”
Week 3: Pressure and Fluids (Unit 5)
1. Define pressure and explain units.
2. Write notes on: Pascal’s Law, Barometer, and Atmospheric Pressure.
3. Solve: 4 numerical based on pressure-depth, area-force, and
atmospheric pressure.
4. Activity: Paste or draw labeled diagrams of barometer and manometer.
5. Concept writing: Why we cannot sip water with straw on the moon.
Week 4: Work, Energy, and Power (Unit 6)
1. Define work, energy, and power. Give SI units.
2. Solve: 4 numerical on work done, kinetic energy, GPE, and efficiency.
3. Write explanation with examples: Law of Conservation of Energy.
4. Long response: Difference between renewable and non-renewable
sources with examples.
5. List 5 real-life examples involving energy transformation.
