What do you like best about Continu?

Continu has been a game-changer for our company’s learning and development efforts. What do you like best about Continu?

As a user primarily leveraging Continu LMS for our organization's information security awareness training, it has proven to be an indispensable tool, significantly streamlining our training initiatives and, crucially, helping us maintain robust compliance.

Our main use case revolves around deploying and tracking mandatory information security awareness training modules to our entire workforce. Continu excels in this regard by providing an intuitive platform that makes it easy to upload our training content, whether it's SCORM packages, videos, or simple documents. The user interface for learners is clean and straightforward, ensuring high engagement and minimal technical hurdles, which is vital when rolling out mandatory training to a diverse employee base.

Where Continu truly shines for our needs is in its comprehensive attendance and completion tracking features. The ability to monitor who has completed which module, when, and their scores on any integrated quizzes is seamless and highly reliable. This granular tracking is paramount for our compliance requirements, providing an undeniable audit trail that demonstrates our commitment to employee security education. What do you dislike about Continu?

Continu is integrated to our HRMS tool and we have seen cases of rehires wherein the automation failed to assign the training. That resulted in non-compliance for some of the rehires as they didn't complete training within certain number of days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and Efficient Tool for Training"
What do you like best about Continu?

One of the features I like the best about Continu is its integration with Salesforce and Slack. This makes it super easy to access since Salesforce is a tool I use regularly, but the Slack integration is great in ensuring I'm notified about upcoming training deadlines so I can make time to complete these. Between compliance and company trainings, I'm typically accessing Continu at least 2-3 times per month.

The interface is easy to use and I rarely find myself struggling to complete any training based on product inefficiencies or shortfalls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Continu?

If there's one shortfall I've noticed when completing a training is it's sometimes unclear as to what modules, tasks, or quizzes I need to complete in order to move on to the next section. This might be the fault of our Education and Revenue Operations teams when they create the training, but I often have to backtrack to find a box I didn't check or card I didn't flip in order to move on or complete the training. What do you like best about Continu?

ability to assign content to users is a benefit when working with a large audience base. Being able to group multiple content together into tracks is also useful to create robust learning programmes that users must follow. It is intuitive to use and whilst i did watch the training provided I found it easy enough to navigate and learn how to use better hands on. Like that I can add and personalise multiple outgoing messages to users as I assign content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Continu?

Whilst the badges are a good idea they essentially act as another certificate. Better gamification might be users earn a badge after completing X number of modules in a given category on the explore page.

Not sure how the issue has occurred but we have the same 'location' several times. this means when trying to assign content and looking for the audience i have 5+ of the market United States - I have to select each instance for all relevant users to be correctly assigned content.

Surveys are limited to the number of questions that can be asked - this limits its use for post training surveys otherwise users must be sent multiple surveys to complete.

Assessments created through Continue do not provide feedback on users progress. No oversight as to what questions users are getting in/correct to identify gaps in learning or the training resource.

To make an all encompassing LMS and platform to view progress, would be beneficial to add in a QA section where users quality feedback can be stored and as this is done content can be recommended. Would be able to see then their improvements in relation to content they have sat.

Would be beneficial if users could register for a course (not a workshop with a set date) then Admin can assign to the users when suitable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Continu?

With recent improvements, Continu's course scheduling and assignment tool has been very helpful. However this has only been a recent change and it was difficult to navigate before and often failed.

Continu displays Scorms packages perfectly and the courses people take rarely have any issues.

What do you dislike about Continu?

Continu often fails to provide a seamless experience - for instance, you cannot open a course into a new tab from one of the search/homepages.

Scorms often update slowly or fail to do so for a long period of time (sometimes up to 3 hours).

I find the setup of Continu to be quite easy on the user end, allowing seamless login and navigation to assigned learnings or self-guided exploration of topics. What do you dislike about Continu?

I haven't found Continu overly useful, as the teaching feels fairly general and doesn't focus on teaching specific skills. The assignments currently lack the structure of courses that offer opportunities for earning certifications and learning skills that could enhance one's resume. The assignments seem to be more about sharing general videos and topics rather than providing substantial content that leads to meaningful skill enhancement. What do you like best about Continu?

It is helpful to be able to track completion of trainings and get insights into where employees are missing work. The ability to send automatic reminders is also helpful, so I am not having to always be the one to audit and then send a reminder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
