"Effortless App Creation for Rapid Prototyping and MVPs"
What do you like best about Lovable?

I like Lovable because it quickly turns ideas into fully working apps, including frontend, backend, database, and authentication, saving time on manual coding. It’s accessible for non-coders and great for building prototypes, MVPs, or internal tools fast. The visual editor lets you tweak layouts easily, and you can export code if needed for further development. It’s especially useful for testing new features, creating dashboards, or validating business ideas without investing heavily in full-scale development. Overall, it speeds up development while keeping flexibility for future updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

The AI-generated code does not always follow best practices or be optimized for large-scale production. Customizing complex features beyond the AI’s suggestions is tricky and sometimes requires manual coding. Performance and scalability is limited for very large apps. Additionally, relying heavily on AI makes debugging or understanding the generated code harder for teams used to traditional development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hear from an app builder about Lovable"
What do you like best about Lovable?

Lovable is an AI tool very easy to use for websites and web apps makers. The user interface is very friendly and practical. For professional users, having a pro account is a must if you want to customize manually your code or download it, besides it makes you use your credits more efficiently that you don't need to use AI for all the app features and modifications. Add ins are appropriate and easy to link. If you are a beginner with no real experience in coding, it is very practical and cost effective solution especially if you are aiming to make a simple website for your business for example or just for your personal branding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

Although the actual features in Lovable are satisfying, it has the ability to be more efficient and user friendly, especially regarding the customization of web design features: text format options are limited, using the user interface instead of asking AI to do the modification is limited, it is not possible to use the "Edit visual" to add a piece of code unlike Sitely or Wordpress for example, but you still can modify add pieces of code using the "Code" sheet or by asking AI. Personally I find being obliged to ask AI for simple tasks like adding a text box or making a text bold or modifying a picture economically and ecologically not sustainable. AI is awesome, its power should be dedicated to more complicated tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Creating prototypes for analysis in dynamics is a must-have for product managers. Many tools."
What do you like best about Lovable?

Since I work as a product manager in a company, for me this service allows for quick testing of ideas that can be dynamically tested and understand whether the user will really enjoy the planned feature. What's cool is the thesis: an automatic system for working out the project's protection, this is a must-have when launching in production. There is an opportunity to receive daily development credits. It already works really fast and the assistant in the form of a chat offers cool product solutions to mine =) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

It would be great to create a function similar to automatic protection — namely, writing autotests for the functionality so that there are no breakdowns when making improvements. Or an autotesting system (maybe it exists =)) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love for Lovable, but Cost is a Barrier"
What do you like best about Lovable?

I deeply value Lovable's ability to integrate solutions easily, which significantly simplifies my workflow when developing solutions for companies. This ease of integration with the backend and artificial intelligence allows me to automate processes effectively, something that is essential in my field of work. My passion for Lovable is not just for its practical functionalities, but also for the revolutionary capability it offers to create and sell systems and solutions, enhancing my efficiency and profit. The fact that I have managed to sell an HR indicators system and multiple solutions to different companies is proof of this. I truly appreciate how Lovable has enabled me to reach new financial heights, something I never imagined before. This, combined with the use of other tools like ChatGPT, further enhances the results I can offer to my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

I found the initial setup of Lovable very difficult and it consumed a lot of credits, which is still a problem I face. Spending credits when using the chat mode is something I believe should not happen. Furthermore, the cost for us Brazilians makes the use of the tool very expensive. This limits my ability to make the most of the resources offered by Lovable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"More like Hatable"
What do you like best about Lovable?

For the first few days using Lovable, it's like magic. You ask it to build something, and it does. You can build semi-functional prototypes very quickly just by prompting it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

Everything else. It's marketed as everything you need to build fully-functional software that people will love. But it's not capable of this -- like many products powered by LLMs: It lies. It forgets things it knew a minute ago. It makes predictable coding errors. It gets basic math wrong (it underestimated OpenAI and Google Places API costs by 5-6x, costing me $1k+).

My experience with 3-4 different projects follows a similar pattern: they start promisingly, then devolve into non-functional messes that are FUBAR'ed -- as a non-coder, there's simply now way I can prompt Lovable to unf*ck its own creation.

This leaves me with projects that never meet acceptance, despite investing hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars working with Lovable.

I honestly wish I had never tried it -- I would still have nothing to show, but I'd have lots of money and months of my life back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Blazing Fast, Reliable, and Perfect for Developers"
What do you like best about Lovable?

It is very fast, accurate, and dependable. The engineering and construction are excellent. I would highly recommend it to every developer, whether working individually or as part of a team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

It's great that you can get a domain for free, as it really helps a lot of people start their websites without any cost. However, the option for anyone to remix every project is a bit concerning to me. When you're building an enterprise-level app in its early stages, you want to keep it private, just for yourself. Also, the edit label at the bottom left of the page makes me a little uneasy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowering No-Code Platform—Just Needs Easier App Store Deployment"
What do you like best about Lovable?

Lovable.dev has truly transformed my experience. It enabled me to turn my ideas into reality without needing any coding skills. I enjoy being able to work on my project daily, making changes and trying out new things whenever I want, all at my own speed. The freedom from having to hire developers or rely on others to make progress is incredible. Lovable has made creating something uniquely mine both straightforward and empowering. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

The main improvement I’d like to see in the future is a simpler process for deploying apps directly to the Google Play and Apple App Store—this feature would make the experience truly perfect. Additionally, I’ve noticed that sometimes making a change can use up a lot of credits, especially when it unintentionally alters something we didn’t want to change. Over time, we do learn how to prompt more effectively, but this learning process can be costly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From screenshots to production in a few hours"
What do you like best about Lovable?

I've known about Lovable for a while now, but I only recently started using it for real projects. My first project was based on a set of screenshots taken from a Webflow project of mine, and with a simple initial prompt, I had already ported 80% of the original project. After about two hours of iteration and tweaking, and connecting to Github and IntelliJ for final adjustments, I was able to connect with Resend and Stripe, and voilà, the project is in production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

Some advanced features, like native database support, are still under development. While the existing capabilities are already strong, I’m looking forward to seeing more backend flexibility and deeper integration options in future updates. Another important aspect of the platform is having a structured project, category, and template area, with support for various filters, such as style, color, and functionality. This would allow for easy search and ideation for new projects. I'm sure this will be available soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Dream Platform for Builders with Big Ideas and No Coding Background"
What do you like best about Lovable?

Lovable has been the perfect collaboration partner for turning my ambitious idea—an AI-driven Latin learning platform—into reality. As someone with a strong vision but no formal coding background, I’ve found the platform intuitive, flexible, and surprisingly powerful. The interface makes it easy to see your app take shape, while the AI feels more like a creative partner than a tool—helping design database relationships, generate logic, and troubleshoot code in real time. I especially appreciate how quickly I can move from concept to working prototype without getting bogged down in syntax or configuration. For non-technical founders and educators like me, Lovable bridges the gap between imagination and implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

Sometimes the AI can hit a wall and loop on the same idea or error—something I’ve seen happen in other AI platforms too—and it can be hard to know how to prompt it to get unstuck. When that happens, progress slows until I reframe the request or rebuild a section. More guidance on how to help the AI “get over the hump,” or built-in recovery options when it stalls, would make the experience even smoother. Still, these moments are outweighed by how powerful and collaborative Lovable is overall—it’s opening the door for non-coders to build serious, intelligent applications from the ground up. "Lovable is the AI Co-pilot for Web Development"
What do you like best about Lovable?

setting up frameworks, connecting component libraries, and writing boilerplate code for simple UI elements. It truly is the ultimate tool for accelerating the entire initial phase of web development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lovable?

when the generated code needs very niche, complex optimizations or deep integration with external, custom APIs.The AI is brilliant at general structure and common components, but when I need to handle large, proprietary documentation for a unique integration, the 'chat' needs to be too specific Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
