Bucket Lists

Mike Goffin edited this page Aug 26, 2014 · 1 revision

The Bucket List is a very simple tagging mechanism. It is simply a way to group top-level objects together for any purpose. You might add a bucket for reasons such as:

  • Grouping TLOs together under a similar characteristic.
  • Gathering a group of TLOs you want to send to an Analyst for review.
  • Temporary grouping before attributing several pieces of content to a Campaign.
  • Tagging for future reference if your organization has a defined set of keywords they use in other applications and you wish to extend those keywords to CRITs.

Buckets can be quickly added and removed making them flexible for most tagging/keyword needs. There is also a way to "promote" buckets to attribute them to a Campaign. When you do this, all content in the system which is tagged with that Bucket will become associated with whichever Campaign you choose.
