The Targets collection is a way of tracking people who have been specifically targeted by malicious activity. You can track:

• Name
• Email Address
• Organization ID
• Department
• Division
• Title
• Notes

Most commonly Targets are added because they were the recipient of an Email that was uploaded to CRITs. But Targets don't necessarily have to be people in your organization. It can be any target that has been disclosed to you or the public. This allows you to track the bigger picture. It will help you determine things like if a press release on a specific topic caused people working on that topic to be targeted by the next malicious email your organization sees. It will also allow you to see which Divisions of your organization are the most heavily targeted.

Each Target Detail page will also show you any Emails associated with that email address whether that Email has been added as a relationship or not.
