CLUES:

Urinary bladder- a hollow and pear-shaped organ which serves as temporary storage for
urine.
Vas deferens- a long and coiled tube that carries the sperm out of the testes during
reproduction.
Scrotum- a bag of skin that holds and helps to protect testicles and is located below the
penis.
Urethra- a tube that carries urine and semen from the bladder and seminal vesicle.
Penis- an external male reproductive organ used for urination and sexual reproduction.
Anus- the opening of the rectum to the outside of the body in which the solid refuse of
digestion is excreted.
Seminal Vesicle- a sac-like gland located behind the urinary bladder that makes seminal
fluids, which nourishes and helps sperm to travel.
Rectum- is a chamber or area where a person holds stool before excreting it from the body.
Prostate- a gland in the male reproductive system that surrounds the part of the urethra,
located below the bladder and produces a fluid in form part of the semen.
Epididymis- a coiled tube that sits on top of the testicle where sperm are stored and mature.
Testes- an egg-shaped glans inside the scrotum that produces sperm and male hormones.

(The teacher will divide the class into four (4) groups.)
(The teacher will provide an activity cards containing guide questions.)
(The output of students will be graded using a specific scoring rubric.)

8. What is the role of the urethra and urinary bladder in urination?
9. What is the importance of male reproductive organs in human reproduction?

Male Reproductive System- in males, the reproductive system is mostly outside. It contains
the external genitals (penis, scrotum, and testes) and internal sex organs (prostate gland, vas
deferens, bladder, seminal vesicle, urethra, and epididymis).

Penis- is the male sex organ. It acts as a conduit for urine to leave the body.
Scrotum- the bag of skin that holds and helps to protect the testicles.
Testes- a pair of sperm-producing organs that maintain the health of the male reproductive
system.

Internal Sex Organs

Epididymis- an essential reproductive organ responsible for sperm concentration,

maturation, protection and storage.
Vas deferens- a coiled tube that carries the sperm out of the testes.
Seminal vesicle- glands that produce the fluids that will turn into semen.
Prostate- its primary function is to produce a fluid that nourishes and transports sperm
(seminal fluid).
Urethra- the tube through which urine and semen leaves the body.
Urinary bladder- a temporary storage reservoir for urine.
EVALUATE 1-5 Multiple Choice: In a ¼ sheet of paper write the letter that corresponds to your answer.
