1. Number Theory

- Prime Numbers: Numbers that are divisible only by 1 and themselves.

- Composite Numbers: Numbers that are divisible by numbers other than 1 and themselves.

- GCD (Greatest Common Divisor): The largest number that divides two or more numbers.

- LCM (Least Common Multiple): The smallest number that is divisible by two or more numbers.

2. Algebra

- Solving Linear Equations: An equation in which the highest power of the variable is 1.

- Quadratic Equations: Equations of the form ax^2 + bx + c = 0.

- Factorization: Breaking down expressions into simpler factors.


3. Fractions

- Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division of fractions.

- Simplification of fractions.

- Mixed Fractions: Conversion between mixed fractions and improper fractions.

4. Ratios and Percentages

- Ratio: A relationship between two numbers showing how many times the first number contains the

second.

- Percentage: A way of expressing a number as a fraction of 100.

- Profit-Loss in percentage: Calculating profit or loss as a percentage of the cost price.

5. Profit and Loss

- Profit Formula: Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price.

- Loss Formula: Loss = Cost Price - Selling Price.

- Profit Percentage: (Profit / Cost Price) * 100.

- Loss Percentage: (Loss / Cost Price) * 100.

6. Time, Speed, and Distance

- Time = Distance / Speed

- Speed = Distance / Time

- Distance = Speed * Time

- Relative Speed: The speed at which two objects move in relation to each other.

7. Work and Time

- Work = Rate * Time

- Time taken to complete a job: Time = Work / Rate of Work

- If A can complete a task in 5 hours, and B in 10 hours, their combined work rate is 1/5 + 1/10.

8. GCD & LCM


- GCD: The largest number that divides both given numbers.

- LCM: The smallest number that both numbers divide.

- Relationship: LCM * GCD = Product of the numbers.
