CONDUCT COMPETENCY ASSESMENT

Panelist I am ready to demonstrate conduct competency assessment

I coordinated with the AC Manager to sign the letter of appointment then, and I review the Assessment
procedures, evidences, gathering tools and availability of the Assessment Center and the Candidates.
Then I asked the schedule of the assessment and I asked if there is a tool-keeper present during
assessment. Then I conduct site inspection to check the completeness of the resources where tools,
supplies, materials and equipment are properly arranged and within safe environment and the
assessment package.

SCENE 1: (AT THE tesda representative)

Sir/maam, here is the letter of appointment, I am _______________ assigned assessor for today. Can I
get the test packaged? Thank you sir! I received 2 copies of rating sheet, 2 copies of specific instruction,
1 copy of assessor’s guide, 5 copies of attendance sheets, 2 copies of test package, 2 copies of
application form, 2 self – assessment guide. Shall I proceed to the conduct of the orientation.

(at the pep talk area)

Good morning candidate, I am ______________, the competency assessor for today.

So, today is our national assessment certification orientation for _____________ NC II.

Candidates, please submit your admission slip. I will compare this to your application form and self-

(SLIDE 4) For the assessment process, we used the 3 methods in gathering evidences such as written test
examination, demonstration, and oral questioning. Your task is to perform ___specific topic___ for 5
mins. My role as assessor is to make observation the task you perform based on the four dimensions of
competency, role of evidence and performance criteria.

demonstration (same process ha specific instruction)

During your demonstration I will not disturb you, I will just observe proper decorum, I will observe you
based on the 4 dimensions of competency, role of evidence and performance criteria using this rating
sheet. Anuman ready kana? I will give you 5 mins to demonstrate, your time starts now, (ma demo an
candidates for 2 mins) Time us up! Can I have the list of tools, specific instruction and task for
demonstration. Before you leave, please observe the 5s. let’s proceed to assessment area for the oral
questioning.

(At the assessment area) how was your demonstration in the practical work area? Na perform mo ba an
4 dimension of competency? Tama! Na observe ko na you able to demonstrate the critical aspect of
competency especially in the __LO__ specifically __topic__. However, na observe ko kanina na mayda

Based on the corroboration of the evidence gathered in the written test examination, demonstration
and oral questioning I declare you as COMPETENT in ______ NC II, Im going to record this in the rating
sheet. You may go back to the pep talk area and please call the candidate 2 to proceed in the practical
work area
