Aptitude and Basic Formulas

1. Percentages:

- Percentage = (Value / Total Value) x 100

- Increase/Decrease = (Change / Original) x 100

2. Profit and Loss:

- Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

- Loss = Cost Price - Selling Price

- Profit% = (Profit / Cost Price) x 100

- Loss% = (Loss / Cost Price) x 100

3. Simple Interest:

- SI = (P x R x T) / 100

(P = Principal, R = Rate, T = Time in years)

4. Compound Interest:

- CI = P x [(1 + R/100)^T - 1]

5. Time, Speed, and Distance:

- Speed = Distance / Time

- Distance = Speed x Time

- Time = Distance / Speed

6. Average:

- Average = (Sum of Quantities) / Number of Quantities


7. Ratio and Proportion:

- Ratio = a : b = a/b

- Proportion: a/b = c/d

8. Work and Time:

- Work = Rate x Time

- If A can do a work in x days, then A's 1 day work = 1/x

9. Area Formulas:

- Square = side²

- Rectangle = length x breadth

- Triangle = (1/2) x base x height

- Circle = pi x r²

- Cube = side³

- Cuboid = l x b x h

- Cylinder = pi x r² x h

- Sphere = (4/3) x pi x r³
