"It's Bomb Interface,Top notch Versatility & razzmattaz Dashboard for dependable & accurate decisions"
What do you like best about Domo?

Domo's bomb interface makes it stand out with ease of personalization based on user roles for ease of navigation. I like it out of the Box data connections from E-Commersite sites like shopify to social site like X and other data analytics like Google analytics which gives is versatility with exponential data visualization into vast number of format with graphs and charts. Great for it's razzmatazz, stunning and interactive dashboards to give me the snapshot of our metrics, insights for business intelligence for dependable, accurate and future forecast business decision. "Always improving & extending their toolkit!"
What do you like best about Domo?

The platform makes it easy to create and duplicate content, which I find very convenient. The wide range of connectors simplifies the process of linking data sources. I also appreciate the available AI tools and training resources, which are quite helpful. Ultimately, it is great to see that they are consistently enhancing and expanding their toolkit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

The introduction of new features, or changes to existing ones, is often not communicated clearly, which can occasionally result in dataflows or cards breaking. Additionally, the training resources are sometimes outdated, making the training process slower and more confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DOMO provides an excellent platform for a range of uses by experienced and novice analysts."
What do you like best about Domo?

The best part of DOMO is the ability to manipulate data, visualize, and story-board it all within one platform. A close second is the routine improvements that the DOMO team pushes showing the platform is growing to accommodate more business needs. My favorite singular feature is DOMO Apps. I became proficient in AppSheet before learning about DOMO, and I realized that no-code is the direction for most platforms. Having a BI system combined with an in-platform app builder has been a sublime experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

There aren't many things that DOMO misses when it comes to the minutiae, but a few big items seem to have left their radar. One is the organization of content within DOMO. The breakaway from typical folder subfolders for saved card content doesn't quite jive with navigational heuristics we have all come to use with new software. Two, the ability to create dev versions or deployed versions of cards means our internal team must keep some of them locked down. A small missing feature that goes along with both of these is the inability to create display vs internal development names for cards or data sources (though for datasources, I understand DOMO wants to use the Views feature). These improvements would make me like DOMO all the more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Transformation, Needs Better Analyzer"
What do you like best about Domo?

I love using Domo for its functionality that allows me to perform complex data transformations without needing to write long queries, which significantly simplifies my workflow. The data visualization tools are remarkable, as they enable me to deliver cleanly displayed data to business leaders, enhancing the effectiveness of my presentations. The MagicETL and DataFlows features are particularly valuable, as they automate my transformed datasets, thus saving me a lot of time and effort. The use of tiles instead of lines of code is a brilliant feature, as it makes managing tasks much more manageable and less overwhelming. Additionally, I find learning the Admin components of Domo quite easy, which suggests a user-friendly interface. These aspects collectively contribute to my positive experience with Domo. What do you dislike about Domo?

I find the Analyzer tool limited, lacking in options and functionality that I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Features, Less advanced Visualizations"
What do you like best about Domo?

I really like Domo a lot and find its user interface to be incredibly friendly and easy to use, while still offering advanced features that other tools might not have. Compared to other visualization and transformation tools I've used, such as Power BI and Tableau, Domo stands out. I am especially impressed with the ability to use Python, R, and Jupyter Notebooks. Domo supports advanced users with an impressive list of features, yet it remains simple enough for beginners, making it a versatile tool for any skill level. Additionally, the automation capabilities Domo provides in managing tasks like PDP creation, unsharing, sharing, and data archiving are commendable, allowing a small admin team to efficiently manage the system. The setup for new users can be easily automated as well, making Domo straightforward and easy to manage once it's operational. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

The one aspect of Domo that I find could use improvement is the out-of-the-box visualizations. While they are good, they tend to be a bit basic in terms of their default configurations. Unlike Power BI, which offers highly customizable visualizations, Domo's default options don't always allow for fine-tuning to the extent I desire. Although creating custom visualizations is possible, it often requires coding, which demands time and effort I'm reluctant to spend. Additionally, I wish there was more robust security around app pages in Domo. This feature is relatively new in Domo, and while I expect it to improve over time, currently it lacks some security measures I'd prefer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI with Powerful ETL Features"
What do you like best about Domo?

I find that using Domo has been immensely beneficial for my work in business intelligence, ETL, and data visualization. Over the 5.5 years, I've particularly loved how easy and straightforward it is to set up, thanks to its user-friendly and visually appealing interface. I appreciate Domo's simplicity in navigating through its functions, which significantly boosts our ability to gain business insights. A standout feature for me is the wide array of pre-built data connectors, which allow seamless integration of various systems like Workday, Salesforce, and Qualtrics. Moreover, Magic ETL is exceptional in its versatility, catering to both technically inclined users and those less familiar with coding. It’s fantastic to have the option to code in SQL and Python or to use intuitive drag-and-drop tiles with prebuilt functions. The robust functionality of Domo, acting as an all-in-one platform, facilitates bringing multiple business systems together, cleansing them, and creating impactful visualizations, all with an intuitive process and powerful data connectors. This all-encompassing capability makes Domo incredibly valuable, and its solid pre-built connectors effortlessly handle data integration tasks. These features collectively make Domo indispensable for me and our team’s data understanding and processing needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I dislike that Domo lacks advanced lineage tools. This makes it difficult to understand downstream dependencies on changes to fields or logic, unlike other platforms such as dbt or BigQuery, which offer more robust solutions in this area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love Domo!"
What do you like best about Domo?

It's fairly easy to use and gain adoption of from non analysts. Domo has invested a lot into the development of their ETL data manipulation interface. It is very intuitive and easy to use with options for beginners, users with very little data manipulation knowledge all the way up to advanced users who write Python, R, SQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

Challenges with fiscal calendar functionality. We've also been slow to embrace App Studio because of the limitations with exporting the dashboards as a PDF and creating multiple templates for each of our brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Domo Ease of Use"
What do you like best about Domo?

Domo is my first data visualization tool that I have used in my career as a business analyst. The modules in Domo University made it faster to learn, and easier to adjust to.

Domo is a tool that I believe anyone could learn. Creating cards and dashboards is a breeze. It is also easy for internal users to navigate and to filter cards for information that they are looking for. I love how easy it is to export information into different formats like excel or powerpoint.

The Domo Forums feauture is also very helpful when looking to learn how to do BeastModes for different use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

The only thing that I have found I dislike when it comes to Domo is when you are writing a BeastMode, you are unable to select the Measure or Dimension from the dropdown list on the left side. I feel this would be easier at times than typing it out and looking for it on the on-screen list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly BI Tool with Potential Credit Constraints"
What do you like best about Domo?

I appreciate Domo's ability to provide insights on our sales performance, which helps our leaders in making informed decisions. The support structure and ETL abilities of Domo were key in our decision to choose it over other BI tools. I value how straightforward and user-friendly the integration methods are, which made the setup process smooth and efficient. Domo provides excellent alignment across the business with our KPIs and functions as a self-serving BI tool. I find the drag-and-drop feature incredibly beneficial, as it simplifies tasks considerably. The Campaign Builder is especially useful for sending reports via email, automating the process, thereby saving our analysts the time otherwise spent on exporting, processing, and sending out data. The native integration with BigQuery enhances the workflow seamlessly. The Magic ETL is an extremely valuable feature of Domo which makes data transformations much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I dislike how quickly the credit availability is consumed. This is particularly challenging because it limits our ability to test within Domo without impacting production resources, especially in the first few years when we're still ironing out our processes. "The one to beat!!!!"
What do you like best about Domo?

We have been using Domo for about 6 years now. The best thing about Domo are the connectors. You can pretty much connect to all major data systems.

Also there were several major updates done to the product to make it more powerful and make it much easier to build reports.

The new App Studio makes it easier to build good looking and customizable dashboards.

Over the years Domo has been constantly upgrading the product and adding more and more features both to their ETL tool and the report builder (Analyzer). This has truly made Domo a leader when it comes to BI tools. The DomoAI is also constantly improving and is going to be a force to reckon with in the coming years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

The pivot chart still needs a lot of work and also they need some kind of a way to show/hide columns dynamically on the table charts. Also needs to enable dynamic column names for the table charts.

The new consumption model is very confusing. They should just streamline it and make it customer friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
