PROVISIONS [SOP Ref. No. FC-10-01]

1. Faculty efffectiveness and commitment in performing their


duties shall be assessed through reclassification and promotion policy.

2. Faculty attending trainings, seminars, workshops, etc

3. Academic rank is undertaken every 3 years as per policy

4. The faculty member is eligible for reclassification and and promotion


if the faculty meets the criteria: a. not subjected to disciplinary action,
b. Not committed to unethical/unpropfessional conduct for the last 3 years,
c. not negligent in the performance of teaching duties such as submission
of grades, and attendance to school events.

5. Reclassification coverage for the following SY


SY 2021-2022
SY 2022 - 2023
SY 2023-2024
Teachers shall submit to reclassification every year, and failure to do so could mean no salary movement,
and be reprimanded through an IR.

Shall provide copy of program, and photos aside from certificate.


They will also do re-echo aside form the re-entry plan to be submitted to HR Academic Office.
[2021 will be consider now but next year will not be scored until the faculty will do re-echo and re-enry plan]

To ensure salary movement and faculty development, a reclassification is done annually.

Such requirements to meet such as a-c shall be applicable only to promotion but not on annual reclassification

Separate policy on promotion as to position such as Program Heads, Deans, Academic Coordinator, School Principal
principal, asst. principal, academic coordinator from reclassification and ranking

Answer/Explanation
In respect to our salary scale, there is a corresponding points to income and faculty rank.
The quality of education depends largely on the qualifications and competencies of faculty.
CHED requires that teachers at higher education level must have masters degree in the field in
which they teach. CMO No. 40, s. 2008

The minimum residency requirements for reclassification/promotion is a full-time faculty status
